I'm really looking forward to this event despite working for the majority of it. We have already said in the strategy thread that there is no need to grow zillions of the event crop or change our current farming projects if we don't want to. If we find our strategy isn't working, we can change our direction any time we like and still (hopefully) finish the event or reach our individual targets. :)

Think that the game developers have really taken on board our feedback in past events and come up with an event that can be approached from different, or a combination of several, angles. It is tricky to please everybody but this event looks like it should tick a lot of boxes. :inlove:

I am hoping the actual race is as fun as it looks - graphics as usual are fantastic. Let the race begin! xD

This looks like it will be fun!! It's great that there are a couple of approaches to doing it and also that you can do some each way.

congrats on adding variety to the events.

I'm quite enjoying this event, but why does the game go to the next race automatically, not the race I've actually started on. I've done no1, then started on no4, when I went to race this morning it went straight to race no2. I didn't notice this until I'd used all my goes and looked at it more closely. As I may not finish all of this event, I'm rather annoyed by this.

It is really great that we can do the event with drops only :D The prizes are very generous :inlove: and again I appreciate the extra items :)

It is nice that those that struggle with the drops have an option requiring fewer drops. But I think the bio fuel is a bit pricey, using mostly premium fuel saves you around 200 drops, but you'll have to grow 18k crops! I think either the number of crops or drops should be lower per fuel. I don't really see much point in having two types of bio fuel, having only the premium variety would have been fine in my opinion.

It takes 20 drops plus event crops and sunflowers to get 6 steps. 20 drops will get you 5 steps. Growing event crops and using sunflowers just isn't justified to get one more step.

Well, I'm quite disappointed. The drop out rate is extremely terrible. I had all 5 fields seeded with Camelina, with my eggs I'm running at 145% EP and my trophies idols are at 28% increases drop chance.... from 964 small fields I got just 39 Turbolines. If I have so much trouble with drops I can imagine what newbies are going trough.

this is a splendid event with options for different types of farming. I am loving not having to grow an event crop, but it's nice that the option is there for people who have less time at the keyboard. Harvesting twice a day is just fine with me right now!

The graphics are adorable. I love the turtle on the tractor when you complete a major step.

I agree with the above post that the devs seem to be listening to what we say we want and do not want. There is no way to please everyone, all the time, but I feel like much more effort is being made to try to make us happy. Lately every event offers trees and stables as prizes, and BEP, and the requirements, I feel, have been much more reasonable, on the whole.

All in all, two thumbs up for this event - it's challenging, but simple, requires a little strategy rather than nonstop sitting at the computer, and the prizes are lovely, and offer something for everyone!

I must agree with matselleste, the prizes are reasonable.
Having 6hr crops to grow is not too much of a problem, though the drop rate is pretty poor. I do not know whether I will be able to finish this event without spending real money to buy the packages

I love everything about this event but two things:

    One: too low drop rate
Two: too fast racing image... making me slightly nauseous when i look at it too long... (but that could be me only)

I also get nauseous when watching the racing but I have really enjoyed this new game mechanism.

Thought it was just me that found the racing animation hard to look at, but now realize others are bothered by it.:(

Do like the game itself; nice that the event crop is an option instead of required.:)

I'm loving the 'not necessary to grow event crop' part. The graphics as always are wonderful and really don't like to complain. But from a medical standpoint anyone with seizures might have difficulty looking at the fast pace of the racing.

  14. A great and innovative new event, which is enjoyable; the only drawback and it is something that seems to be consistent throughout every event - fairly low drop rate. Not just that, but I have found in this one that it there is a huge variation between drop rates. Same field, same event crop one harvest 4 turboline, next harvest 15 turboline. Two fields, same event crops, identical number of plots, same harvest time; one harvest 13 turboline the other 7 turboline. I didn't convert all my fields to event crops, because I have found the drop rate on event crops to be significantly lower than normal mixed farming - ergo - 31 from same size field mixed farming - 12 for event crops.

Apart from that one beef, the event is a good one - nice touch having EP and CC as minor prizes between the main ones. Enjoyable and different.

Add my name to the people who, in general, really like the event (and like not having to grow "junks"), but who also feel nauseated during the race. It gives me a headache and makes me queasy to focus on a non-moving object (in this case, the donation buttons and my progression on the track) while also having my peripheral vision pick up tons of movement. It's the same reason lots of people can't read a book while riding in a car or train...scenery speeding by in the peripheral vision makes them sick.
Car racing is fun! Car sickness is not. :wuerg:

I love this event:inlove:, it so doable without spending $ or Euro's depending where you are:D but, yes I also have a "but" and it's the same, the race is making me slightly nauseous:(.

I love this event. I love not having to grow thousands of crops and being rewarded for just looking after my farm. The prizes are great and I love the racing graphics. Thanks devs, a big thumbs up from me!

Wouldn't it be nice if you guys could tell us for each race exactly how many steps there are (in the FAQ).
I saw the numbering in the tables (1-22, 1-26, etc) and thought these were steps. I realized I was wrong when I started "racing".
Maybe next time you can do totals to avoid misunderstandings.

This event has been quite hard for me. Too much crops should be harvested and too much drops should be collected. I'm tired of dragging my trophies from one field to another. I was working very hard to complete the first two races. I think I cannot drive anymore.
But at the bright side I like the dividing the race on many little steps, it means everyone could get something useful even if one doesn't have enough fuel. Also decor items are so nice looking I wish I have them all :(
And thank you for lovely wallpaper, too

I loved the event I just farmed as normal and didn't use quest crops. The graphics were great as usual. 10/10. I hope we can do this or something similar again.:):)
