I understand,.... it's not easy BohoKaren.....I'm also without my RL kids this year! Like you, I know they are fine...but it's that tug of the "mommy heart".:pGreat pic of dear Hector.;) When will they come home?

    Brooke.. feel your pain....
20th December... :( I put it in the contract that I can swap anytime or pull completely if I am not happy with welfare... Welfare will be beyond... It's just me that missing them!!
    Edit.... had awful news tonight.

Another Little Star is Twinkling in heaven tonight.. We loved him to bits - not one of our herd but as close as... He will always be one of Santa's team... xxx

He was the same age as Hector and belonged to a close friend... elective surgery (and I would have done the same) he was born with a hernia (hereditary) which "may" have killed him in the future. so she had him castrated and hernia "fixed". Hernia fix went very badly intestines started leaking out... second op to put in gauze, yesterday bubbling of rumen through incision... Cause, super bug OR vet incompetence... not sure.
    Awful, awful awful...

Something on a lighter note. This animation went a lot better than Lotte's - practice makes perfect!

That's a great pic of Hector and Katya at the Xmas tree farm, they look perfectly content and cozy:) (Katya actually looks a little bored, lol). I can't get over how adorable Hector is... I just wanna hug him and squeeze him. I need a life sized fuzzy/plush stuffed animal replica of him!

So sorry for your friend's loss, that's really sad :(

Great photos of Hector and Katya at the Christmas tree farm. So sorry for the loss of your friend's reindeer. Animals certainly have a wonderful way about them that draws you close and makes your heart fully engaged so the joys are wonderful but the losses very hard to bear.

Mischa Boris and their humans have had a very busy weekend... shattered.
Missed the Baby Boom weekend completely - luckily managed to complete tractor racing before... (my tactor Wilma ... may be old but boy she's up to a race!!! ;) )..
Okay still trying to enter Wilma in competition (my clapped out tractor) but I haven't posted on FB so not sure how to post her picture.... BUT Wilma is champing at the bit!!! ;)... grrrh... come on you turtles\!!!

Just posted on FB so that I could share my old girl!!! My nephew driving.... Come on, we are up to the race!!! :)

Heehee.. the silly thing is he smiles when he drives Wilma but not sure why, as she is a real swine... no power steering.. I certainly feel as if I have had a severe work out when I top the paddocks.. Okay on the straight BUT the corners :(....
The competition is on the straight... and boy in top gear she is scarily fast...just don't ask for a tight corner unless you have mega bisceps!!! :)
    Edit only lost letters!

I remember having those achy biceps when I drove a real tractor on my Dad's farm. !:sleepy: No power steering is Hard to turn!!! We always called our little red tractor we kept at the house...Betsy. I have no idea why most people name tractors girl names? Maybe, 'cause women are such good workers.:pxD
Now tractors are air-conditioned, gps, and stereo's with satelite(sp) radio.o_O
Love the new pic of Hector in your avatar Karen!;)

Wicked girls!!! This was meant to be about Wilma my old tractor participating in the tractor races not my nephew!!!!... It was just hard to find a picture that I had on social media that featured my old clapped out tractor girl (Wilma) But it does show that even an old tractor can make a nephew smile!!!
Back to the topic (for me not boring) going for a cuddle, health check etc with my cutems (don't have favorites, honest) Hector and Katya... being withut them is a real problem...Skypes, calls, texts just don't cut it.... HUGS CUDDLES, temp checks, poop disections are required tomorrow... :(

BohoKaren - LOL....how fun?...."poop disections" :wuerg:...well, I hope the hugs & cuddles make up for it?;) If you're going to provide "eye candy" riding Wilma....you're bound to get some comments from some of us gals. :pxDxDxD

Pleased to report Katya and Hector seem very well BUT I hated driving away without them... The home paddocks seem so empty ... :(

They are a massive hit with the public and to be honest I think Hector makes as much fuss of everyone who visits not just me - a quiet day in photo 2 but you can see him gazing towards potential fuss! :(
And what is lovely is that the wife (who is a vet) was very keen for me to ensure I was happy with them... They were very well BUT I won't stop worrying until they are home...
