Tractor Racing Strategy Thread

I have been busy over the Weekend....I Completed all 5 Races in one go using only Turbolines....Well Done to all those who have completed this Event

 

FINISHED!!! Have 119 drops left over (guess I didn't need to buy the Lg Basket after all) and more to come.

With 29% LL rune, 3 Howie donuts, these flying EP pets...5 Owls, 6 Crows, 2 Dragons, 2 Night mares and a couple others (forgot what they do), Zab 60% on crops, Cac, CB 20%, EM 30% ...this has got to be over 200% EP for first harvest!

Tracters are settled in the clouds and all five lined up on Shipwreck Bay who knows if they will stay, making room as the Singing Daisys go on their way.

Finished With company all week-end did not think I would get done. Worked on it all day today and with help from neighbors and generous friends on here gifting drops I got it done. Thank you all again!!! Congrats to all who have finished and good luck to all still trying

I've still not finished, oh my..... I'm on the 5th race though thank goodness. I hope I can finish. I cannot stand unfinished business.

 

Finished on pnp! Many thanks to those special neighbors and friends who gifted me. BW is 8 turbolines from finishing and will collect those with tomorrow morning's harvest.

Used only turbolines on both farms and still have the original 10 seeds BP gave us. Broke would be so proud of all of us who did not need to grow junks!

 

finished with 4 turbolines and almost 12 hours left. Did grow some "junks" without using them.

 

Oh Dear....I made every mistake possible. First I lost all my supergrow via the harvester on a low level crop (180 SG *poomff*) a day before the event. Then life got in the way of my game and I ended up starting this event a day late with my whole farm covered in weeds instead of the lovely roses I planted!!! Doh! Then to finish a spectacular blunder week I completely forgot about moving my trophies.....TaDa!!!!

Needless to say I have had to grow the event crop and mill as my drops were terrible. I might finish 4 of the races but not much chance for the cloudrow this time. Congratulations to everyone who got through all the races and thank you to everyone who sent Turbolines, they have really been appreciated. Going for the LL rune is probably great advice to combat my brainfoggy days so it's off to the top of the tree for me now!

 

Yeah I think I could finish .
Got 91 drops from my onions , hazelnut and green tea(which I seed waking up midnight).
If my calculations right(I am weak in maths. Hope this time my calculation work) I can be done when my milling done in 1 hour.
If not I have to wait till my roses done till few minutes before event ends

Yes my calculation went wrong.I milled bio fuel instead of premium one
Still 20 to finish this event.
I think I would get them from my roses.

Got the cloud row on both farms, but I know I won't be able to finish the event i.e., get the black flame tractor.

Thanks labmommy30 your sugarskulls are gorgeous and they have already cheered me up! I'm not complaining, look at the great lessons I just learnt

 

Just finished! Whew! Regular farming and just drops although I did use SG today so I didn't have to run down to the wire! Thankfully I got lots of SG while spinning the party wheel. (Just wish I could have gotten the loading flower.)

 

Both farms have achieved the CR so main target achieved!

Chevrefeuille is withing spitting distance of that pretty black car (24 Turbolines needed with one field of Roses due for harvest in just over an hour). If I get within a few, I can buy the last 10 with BBs but am hoping that I will be able to make it without the expense! I have enough event crops to mill one Bio-fuel and one Premium Bio-fuel if I get that close. Quite exciting having so many options.

This farm is quite a few behind - needing 66 to finish. Not even possible to get enough through gifts so please do not waste gifts sending me any for this farm. I have nowhere to put the cars, all my garages are full! I may be lucky ... but if not, at least I had the opportunity to do a few experiments.

Firstly, I do believe that animals gave me more drops overall than trees. Trees give a lot but cannot be harvested as often as most animals. Obviously, the longer running animals give more than Chickens but Chickens gave me two drops and only take an hour so if you can sit at the 'puter all day and raise Chickens, you could, in theory, get more drops than if you harvest a field of Raccoons once, maybe twice, in a day. Not that I tested out wth a field of Raccoons so please don't take this as a test theory! LOL!

Secondly, I actually managed to do some super duper Roses. Normally I don't have enough Supergrow or I forget one part of the sequence to get "instant" Roses. This time I had/did it all. This farm has the Chestnut CR and the Roses took a little under an hour, Chevrefeuille hasn't and Roses will take 1 hour 9 minutes so RESULT!

Another thing, I used one of my Party Wheel tickets today (very rare as I have all the CRs filled now and there is not usually anything ineresting or if there is, I would not be able to take advantage of it due to work) and I won the +200% bonus!

Finally, I would like to add my congratulations to Mr and Mrs President on their marriage! Have fun farming together! Banjo, you old romantic you!
Now if only those Roses can give me 24 Turbothingies, life will be perfect today!

Nellie, try using a capital C .... I was successful. Anyhoo..... I finally finished this morning and imagine my delight when I realized that the event was due to finish within only a few hours... woo hoo!

Thank you ... didn't want to post in SOS thread as not as desperate to finish now I have the CR but ... well it is always nice to finish!

Added tension, I have to go shopping imminently. Will I get back in time to finish or should I just pay the last bit with BBs!

Decided to finish with BBs ... no risk taking at this stage. Please don't send any more and thanks to those that sent!

 

Nothing exciting in the tree's and stables... apart from an Orange Goose Stable...the rest i have doubles and triples of AGAIN
