BP, I like that we are using our stored inventory of crops, animals, trees and products. Those who like to sell- can, produce- can, create- can. It makes it worth while to accumulate specific items, to be either, used, sold or exchanged for other items we want.

Your graphics improve with almost every event and so is the uniqueness of carrying out some of the events. It is nice to know you have listened and worked at giving us some of what has been requested. Please keep up this good work!

The graphics are nice, and the rewards are reasonable for the products asked, but the only other good thing about this event is that we can pick and choose which levels we want. The drop rates are the lowest I have seen since I was a newbie. I don't have the time to stay by my computer doing several harvests a day. (in the strategy thread it was suggested we need about 7 harvests a day, which sounds close to correct)

EDIT: let me clarify a tad, that came out more negative than I meant. The drop rates are low, but people have been asking for harder quests. The good thing about this one is that even though the prizes are decent, there is nothing so overwhelming that we feel we absolutely have to finish it. This is nice with the holidays coming, particularly. There are several decent deco items, but no "all or nothing" type cloud row.

The graphics as usual are great. I like the idea that it's an FSQ and the much desired christmas tree 2011 can be won. However, whilst I have no issue with the islands not being used for growing, with as many drops as are required, drops should be able to be collected from them. The drop rate is far too low for anybody who has a life outside of cyberspace to be able to complete all of the stages.

    Howdy!

The event is easier compared to others. But the amount of mittens you have to collect it's huge. And the fact that you can't plant on Bahamarama makes matter worse.
    :oops::oops::oops:

At least the event plant is a fast-growing one, and it requires a low amount of it.

I will participate in the event and my goals are to take the christams tree (already done), the sticker and to earn as many TEP as I can.

Have fun and Merry Christmas. :music:

this event is not good 3 fields u cant plant iceflowers or get drops , the drop rate for event flowers is just plain sad . 6 from main field and 1 from magic glade almost everytime. i get 21 from jumbo trees and the rest from trees on green meadow and plant long crops at night but still not enough drops dont know if i will finish

I agree with most of the comments above, more drops required, graphics usual good standard and a chance to win the 2011 Christmas tree.:)

This event is a challenge because of the poor drop rate of mittens! Everything else is fun. I find myself micro managing trying to get more mittens without having to spend more real money. Everything else is fun and the graphics are great as always!

One more thing.. the Christmas tree decoration is one of the few deco items that I am putting out, not because of its EP, but simply because I like the look of it. Thank you for the timely gift.

It's such a low key event, its nice to just let it snow and plant snow and let it go.
Whomever thought it best to have a mellow event with no sense of urgency to get that limited one time special item is a genius! It sure saved me money not buying farmbucks or gift baskets to get those special items. I am not being sarcastic, I truly appreciate the relaxing low key boring feel of the game and farming for what it is. Its a nice change in between the next event which I am sure the game designers will turn up the fun meter and make us all stay up all night just to get some silly fun cloud row completed! Merry Christmas Everyone!!

I am thinking that this is a pretty balanced event.

The drop rate seems low, but we are only getting them from 3 fields. We also can only plant the event crop on 3 fields. Only higher level people have access to the island fields so this event seems balanced to both low and high levels.

I, being a higher level am a little disappointed in the prizes, but can see that for a lower level they are actually pretty nice. I was also actually getting a bit tired of all the additional cloud rows, 1 after another.

Overall, I see so many events actually geared to be more to the higher level player with more assets, more fields, more artisan products, and higher trophies. This one puts players on a more even level with fields and drops.

    Good Job BP!

I liked this event, prizes fine, PF, Suzie's Super grow etc. and the chance to get the 2011 Christmas tree.:)
This event also looks good for lower level players. :)

Enjoying the event - it is not easy but it is manageable, even when work is mega-busy for me at the moment. I have taken the advice of those more experienced this time round and planting longer crops overnight (I usually hurry to get all the event crops done first) but I calculated that there was no need. I can get enough Ice Flowers (they are gorgeous by the way!) plus build up my stocks a bit on medium to longer term crops. :D

I will finish tomorrow with a good 24 hours to spare. I need just a little over the daily average of drops and I am confident that I can get them by tomorrow too (without resorting to posting in my own SOS thread lol!). :music:

The prizes are good and I especially like that you are featuring older items that newer players haven't had the chance to get other than via the Gift and Trade event - and then only if they knew of their existence. Personally I have the EP items already on this farm but my other farm can always find room (rofl) for any EP givers! As others have said, it is nice not to have to work for a CR and the associated EP items to fill it (or not if you are unable to finish an event!). :p

All in all, I will repeat what I have said before - I am positive that the Devs are really listening to what people want and going some way to pleasing a majority of farmers with each new event. I do think that some suffer from low drops and perhaps that could be addressed but other than that, thumbs up from me (and Chevrefeuille of course!)! :inlove:

It is nice to be able to pick what we want from the rewards. The flowers are pretty and I like to see them each year in one of our December events.
But the drops are really hard to get in this event.

The event crop is very bad for drops. If it weren't for the animal pens and longer overnight crops, I would not have made any progress in this event.

This Event did not give me much fun at all, As Ice Flower is an old Crop we have grown before in Last Year Winter Event. What was biggest let down was drop Rate Growing Ice Flowers this event took much longer to complete than normal. It was very Boring plus i already got both Christmas Trees and Snow Globe from Previous Event

I like to be able to use Baha and Rainforest to Grow Event Crops and it also helps get Drops for this Event, as it was much harder to do this event without these two fields. Some of the Prizes was good but another Wolf Pen is not much use to me as i got all the wolves i need

I did not like this event very much just hope have more Fun in Next Event :p

I found the event fine :) Drops were a bit harder than usual, but I still finished with more than a day to spare, and would have finished earlier if I had started with long crops. Good to get items for park/shipwreck. The old items are not much use, but many are happy to get them for their design anyway. I appreciate the PF/SG/SSG :)

I also found the event to be ok. While the event crop is not a new design, it is still lovely. I know there have been many players unhappy with the drop rate but I found that it was ok considering we only used the main farm. This event had different challenges and I am happy that BP is still trying something different. On this farm, I ripped out everything on all 3 fields to complete the event but on my 2nd farm, I left the glade in trees. Both finished the event comfortably. It added a little more to the event because there really is not much challenge to growing 4 hour crops. I appreciated the new EP givers (the dragon is very cute) and the PF as we move into a breeding event. Overall, nice event and with the FSQ design, players could work towards certain prizes and ignore those they did not want or need.
