The whole event is donation based on EV and you can choose to use colored fish, colored donkeys or colored reindeer (reindeer breeding is a temporary event breeding, but the left over colored reindeer will stay in the barn until next time we have reindeer breeding).

There is no need to use reindeer. I don't think colored reindeer will be in the market, so you would have to breed them yourself. With the high market prices for reindeer now, that is probably the most expensive way to do the event.

Total EV each level:

1. 120,000
2. 150,000
3. 180,000
4. 210,000
5. 240,000
6. 270,000

Total EV to complete the event: 1,170,000
Total EV to get the cloud row with items: 820,000

Important: You can only do one step at a time and the excess amounts donated will not go to the next level, they will be lost.


My personal opinion about the event is that it is far to expensive. I think I will sit this one out there is just the FOCD to overcome Edit: I think FOCD might have won I have got enough breeding animals in my barn to complete the event, but I think I'll rather sell them. The EV of breeding animals required is almost half of what was required during the chestnut festival last year. But this time there are no outstanding prizes to make it worth it in my opinion.

 

Sitting this one out too - I have not really focused on animals much at this point except to grow and donate to trophy and grow and bred for event.
Went to market got about 50 donkeys at $5k ea
Went and no fish and reindeer $20k ea
Very disappointed that reindeer stable can not be purchased or even won as one of the low level prizes
They give upgrades to the reindeer stable but no stable - other breeding event handled far better where it was a rare stable and then a few days prior to event it was released so we could grow animals

I may do partial to get CR, but I may skip the event too.
But, all wait for the BBD to be announced officially

Nellie, that is the normal time for PF when you have the mill rune unlocked. With the mill subscription it would be half of that.

Here are two examples (stolen from the German forum) of how to complete the event with low level fish and donkeys:

1st example: Wild donkey 460, clownfish 48
2nd example: Wild donkey 155, clownfish 32, rainbow fish 155

(Note: these examples are for illustration purposes only, not for internal use )

 

Just tried one breeding process, just to see how it is. That feels a relief not having to take out anything from the fields!
For the moment, I'll have a go with the event (as long as there's a baby boom waiting around the corner...)
But we'll see how it goes...

EDIT: Like the fact that reindeers will be "free". But love even more having classic I and II. I think they're much beautiful than the actual ones. Unlike most of the other animals.

Well i have put some in for a test...but think i will miss this Event and grow some crops and put my pens out

Baby boom isn't my favourite thing
and seems to have everything the same as the old motels and that's good ...am happy

You don't have to open Reindeer. It's a rare animal. Panda you need to unlock though.

 

Not sure I will participate.. at least not fully.

Panda breeding (also monkeys, camels) is opened in the monkey temple. Reindeer will open when the event opens.
I am breeding pandas and one other animal now (had to try it out!). If you have not opened the monkey temple rune, you cannot breed pandas.

Looks expensive to me. Reindeer growing time is also long. And my PF levels are terribly low...

 

Strategy is to not even think about doing this event for a while.

I am still wondering if the pen upgrades will be staying or not. The FAQs don't say anything about the pens, just the animals. I have asked for an official answer on that.

Mir what you said is absolutely true.

The total dollar amount is nothing in comparison.

But just like in that competition the amount should be in the right places

And to make gigantic sales during this event the amount of stock must be in the right places.

Sure, I have missed a couple of places for this event as in TOP 1000 ..... but I have not nearly missed them all.
