That is amazing that they can walk thru a store like that. Are they house trained? or do you hold your breath each time they are indoors? Their fur is sure in great condition, just beautiful.

Lottidah - We hold our breath!!!
We visited a Hospice in the week, we were based outside but a few of their clients were too ill to go outside so the Hospice asked us to take the reindeer into the day room, which is no problem to them at all BUT within moments of being "centre stage" both decided it was the ideal time to produce chocolate covered raisins!!! It caused a few laughs but embarrassment for me and a quick quip out of the dustpan and brush..
That is something I love about hospices, that some H&S regulations go out of the window to make their residents happy and so it should be...

At least the "raisins" sweep up neatly and quickly! Not always the case with other animals.

That's so funny. Isn't it nice they can overlook some rules. They should but we have become so full of rules that most have forgotten to be human.

*Happy thread alert* This one is too great to pass up. I've been peeking right along!
The pink jelly and raisinso_O funny! BoHoKaren yr pics and tales are delightful!
What a dear boy he is, adorable pic #682, I'd kiss that muddy little nose! and the pic #688 reminds me of reporting for duty, they are ready to work the room and melt hearts.
Their visits must bring children of all ages smiles when they go touring.

    Lotte update.
She had her new earring (ear number tag) last week :( so all legal to travel again.

As she had really missed all the single day easy bookings, (while she couldn't travel) we decided to take her to the Christmas Tree Farm to join Hector and Katya. It is a lovely stress free booking, although they need to stay overnights too but living with a vet and her farmer husband.
I thought everything would go smoothly as Hector and Lotte are best friends and Katya used to feed Lotte too.
It wasn't as straight forward as I hoped as Katya wanted to prove that she was "top dog" but this afternoon they seem to have settled.

1st picture this afternoon. 2nd picture Lotte getting a sneaky feed (in about July, during moult) sorry couldn't rotate.

Somebody won't be getting much sleep tonight as there was an issue just after picture 1, when public came to hand feed lichen... Hector and Katya bullied Lotte away from visitors... Giving them tonight to see if they settle if not picking up Lotte tomorrow am. They have only been apart for a short time and so loved each other but jealousy is a strong emotion.... Tomorrow is another day and hopefully they will love her again! :(

It may take coming home and being together in pasture to sort out the jealousy. Keep in mind that Hector and Katya have been at the tree farm long enough to consider it their "own" space. When you let them out at home, put Lotte out first and then let the kids out. She will have the upper hand then.

Caviar, Lotte is one of the kids. The older of the two babies born this year. BUT she was born very small and 3 weeks earlier than Katya's calf (Hector) but once Lotte's mother's milk dried up Katya (Hector's mother started feeding her) as she was still milky. To be honest Caviar if they are still bullying Lotte in the morning, I will be picking up Lotte and bringing her home.
Lotte will never get the upper hand on her stepmother (or at least not for years) but at home their are acres to play in, or avoid each others, or not compete!!!
If they had all gone at the same time??? BUT Hector and Katya have become VERY pushy for visitor attention... It shows they are happy and not stressed there but I didn't expect for a moment that they didn't want Lotte with them...
Will update tomorrow as to whether she is home or if "the Cupids" are "devils in disguise" :(
