Ok, still can't get on a lot<forum> but less white screen, now it just changed to s l o w. I had reindeer, not mega but some, Thank-you to the G&T farmer one of so many gifting me with a deer so long ago

My one little deer dragged me into getting the CR/Orange stall goals as I got some nice coloured ones I am liking the new breeding but so not liking small skips, wanted to do more breeding and finish the event but nay nay on that, I can wait to work on the island upgrades PF can wait for a better game.

I thought it was sort of fun clicking on loose pigs as the stalls went *poof* the givers did the same but the triangle for finished showed, a whole park with just triangles you had to see to get the head shaking moment.

I am sure I lost a lot on the what to use as I just used the your offer is ______over and will be lost window but eh, I got the CR and orange.

If the game goes this way as to skips I will change to crop farming and just not fully complete any event no biggie.
Now, just to remember to look for the code

The Bonus Code announced yesterday will be awarded next week. A script will run on Thursday and will be available to use until the 24th December. It will contain 6 hours of the breeding helper and 10 Power Feed.

I seemed to have missed what the bonus code is...can somebody tell me where it is or what it is??

 

Julie... read the post above. The code will not be awarded until next week and there is a clickable thread that was provided as proof

 

I appreciate that BP is going to issue a bonus code but it does seem odd that it won't be issued during Baby boom but rather several days after it is over. For those farmers that don't breed outside of baby boom, the breeding helper won't be helpful. PF is always appreciated and mine will sit until next baby boom. I did try a round of camels this morning just in case things were better today. Nope. They weren't. Got the next level animal with either the same animal or basic animals returned. No skips at all.

 

I did my first (and second to last) breeding (only some more monkeys and sheep crunching now): skips are the worst I've ever seen (across the board, not only for the event-affected animals), comparable to those I got the very few times I bred any animal outside a Baby Boom after having gotten the breeding rune unlocked.

Since I gave in and bred some reindeers (6x4), I completed level 4 tasks just to get back a fraction of the PF I had used (I even got more PF from my neighbours than from these two tasks...). My lower level farms will sit both this event and this BB edition out completely

If BB breeding is going to be like this from now on, I'll be in trouble to go on playing this game: breeding is at the very centre of my way of keeping this farm running as I like it to without spending my life on it. And I already know there's no way around it (too many things and features, and demands; even the space they added lately is not enough for overcoming eternal shortage of everything): breeding is the key factor to fuel the farm, along with market activity, on which -at its turn- I mainly play bred animals markets. I'll keep an eye on mkt for the next week or so: I don't discard the possibility of deleting all higher level bred animals offers I have published as of now. If I can't get enough CCs, then I know the end will come soon, after the very good current stock levels I have get burnt out.

Too bad.

(Rethinking breeding starting from level1 bred animals may be a remote and rather unlikely way around. But it's too early to tell: market will speak in coming months. I bet there'll be a dramatic shortage of bred animals of all levels if this doesn't change soon).

 

Thanks Banjoman I just finished this event and plan on taking some tylenol and have a cup of hot tea!! I accidentally did lv 2 task 2 ( figured I would but the yellow stables) so I had to refigure what I was going to use. My colored fish and donkeys are very low now and I don't even want to talk about my PF. But I know everyone can relate to that. I too agree if this is how BB skips are going to be, I will really have to think about doing any future breeding events. Congrats to those who finished and the rest of you have my best wishes for good skips

 

I have to agree with all of the complaints about the skips being all but nonexistent. Also the new breeding house took forever to harvest without the harvester on my farms without it. I didn't even bother doing the event at all on my youngest farm. I figured it would be useless to even try there.

 

I must be getting old...for the life of me, I still cannot find the "Bonus Code ANNOUNCEMENT..." ..

Issues with breeding after maintenance

Aluntino: I have looked high and low for this permanent quest, I have the "Would you be a deer" one in my Finished quests but I can't find the Breed-o-Mat anywhere as a prize. What was the actual name of the quest? I may just be missing it, I'm a little tired (and curious)!

 

belinda, BP has announced that there will be a bonus code and what you will get from it. They have NOT announced what the code itself is. Probably because it won't work yet. Look for it later in the week.

 

@illy1996, you have the right quest, it's just spelled a little differently: "Wood You Be a Dear?" If you look at the diamond level of the final task (10/10), one of the rewards is All Harvest Helpers (36 h) which includes the breed-o-mat -- the name of the breeding machinery.

Well I just tried some albino bats and got a rocker bat, so maybe those level 1 animal breedings will be better with skips? Unfortunately I have no PF left and no intention of buying any more.

 

LOL - I thought the Breed-o-Mat was an EP item! Need sleep! At last, tomorrow a lie-in!

OMG I never should have started this event, now I am like .... well I won't go into it, but call it a FRENZY...... I've gone far enough so I have to finish.... must finish .... this is insane! Skips are lousy as well. I would like to thank you all for your suggestions... they have helped tremendously.

Seems to me this event has been a spoiler for the new Breeding house...which is sad because it is lovely and a great idea ...gives us space to continue farming ...as well as doing the events

Another good thing in the breeding house would be ...if we could have a mouse over to tell us how many animals we have ...before we put them in... like we have with the name of the animal

 

Well I did enough to get the cloud row and the items for the cloud row... I shall not be doing anymore of it. Absolutely insanity with almost no skips whatsoever. I think I got one skip that actually yielded a terrific outcome.

 

This is only my opinion but i am not thrilled with the new breeding house, the skips are ridiculously lousy I must say the breeding has gone further downhill the more animals they put to breeding. I got the cloud row and items for it but am not beating my head against the wall on breeding house, too much PF used already and cant afford to buy any. ( If BP doesn't give better skips I'm not sure I will bother with breeding any more.) results were rather pathetic.
