I've searched a bunch thru the strategy threads but can't find it anywhere-.-... so can someone give me a really hard shove in the direction of Mooboy's Nuking Strategy please? I have a general idea of what it entails, but I'd like to have the exact strategy marked and saved, if possible.
    TIA!

Not sure if it's in Suzy's thread, @GuineaUp , but the general idea is (and please correct me if I am wrong):
2x2 plots with SSG, SG, water and manure, running artisans products such as white innocence, CAC and fruit cake (and the supergrow cloud row if you have it) and keep going with this until you have enough seeds to plant as many 1X1 fields as you need.
For me on this one I'm going to try and get all the crops grown asap and then plant longer crops for the drops, meaning I can still spend time with the family without thinking about harvesting event crops.
A HUGE thankyou to all who have done the calculations, my addled end of term brain really couldn't cope with the FAQ!

Nellie, the game is the same for all players (a few exceptions aside :p). Either workshops give drops for all or for none. If you want to know which it is - just ask in general issues :)

Pineapple mango mask takes a gold slot, so you can use both :D

    Strategy
Event begins. I try to achieve several hours solid sleep. On waking, make a real coffee. Open laptop, press start button. Open farm. Harvest cloud rows. Activate all ready pets. Visit fuzzles and spin. Eat CAC and harvest overnight crops. Change 40 1x1 to 10 2x2, I'm guessing we get 5 of each event crop as there are 2 of them. Nuke. Household tasks for 1:09 until first crops ready. Change fields if I haven't separated them already, convert to 45 2x2. Nuke. Household tasks for 0:39 until second crop to finish. Replant on 2x2 & nuke.
When enough crops to fill 4 fields with 1x1, will remove 2x2.

With the +1 harvest, anise will be gotten in 6 - 7 harvests, cardamom in 5 - 6 harvests. So will finish well before Christmas.

Those without the LLR, should leave themselves 1 1x2 plot on each field for their trophies. Before harvest field, harvest that single plot, place trophies, refresh, harvest rest of field, repeat next field to give yourself the best drop rate.

With PJ it will be about 16 - 17 harvest to finish all the basic event. Harvest without CAC / PJ is best on 2x2 for the sake of your hands / wrists.

1x1 plots can be hand demanding, you may find 1x2 plots a compromise between the two.

This isn't absolute & is dependent upon each individual game play. Everyone's goals are individual.

Hi GuineaUp, I always use my Nuking Strategy at Start of All Events as Banjoman had always liked my Nuking Strategy as This Strategy Give Best and Quickest Way to Build up Stock of Event Cropes so you will be able to Build Up Stock of Event Crops so you Eventually have enough to Fill All Fields using 1x1 This Method Means Ripping out your Farm of Everything to Use Field Allocations Firstly with Nuking using 2x2 Fields, Then using 2x1 Fields then Eventually using 1x1 until you have Grow All of Event Requirement of Event Crops, Which can be either just one Event Crops or Several Event Crops

When we have Event Crops sometimes it is just one Event Crop involved we are always Allocated 10 Event Seeding Crops. But This Event is involving Two Event Crops therefore we are Allocated to Just 5 Event Crops per Event Crop. Which takes slightly longer to build up Event Crops Compared Allocation of 10 Event Crops to be Used for Nuking Tactic.

The Requirements of Nuking Event Seedings (Nuking Preparation)

    • CAC Buff Activated in Diamond Slot
    • White Innocents Buff Activated in Gold Slot (Gives 10% Effectiveness use of Super Grow)
    • Harvester 2014 Magic Stork Row Activated (Gives 5% Effectiveness on use of Super Grow)
    • Willing to use Supergrow for Nuking Event Crops
    • Willing to use Suzy Supergrow to Boost Seeding Stock of Event Crop + 2 per Event Crop
    • Willing to use Manure and Water
    • Growth Boost Rune Makes Manure 5% More Effective, Plus Make Super Grow 60% Effective
Always Check Event FAQ to Clarify which Fields we can grow Event Crops so we can execute Mooboy's Nuking Strategy in the Correct Fields.

Since this Event is going to be Allocating two lots of Event Crops of 5 Seeding Each, I will Explain my Nuking tactic on Basis of 5 Event Crop Seed only. But you can Enhanced this if you are willing to Buy Event Baskets either small, Medium or Large Baskets but this always cost BB.

Nuking Event Seeding !st Planting Round Requirement

    • Firstly Prepare Farm for Nuking Tactic as Above
    • Plant 5 Event Crops into 5 (2x2 Fields)
    • Add 5 Super Grow to Each Event Crop
    • Add 5 Suzy Super Grow to Each Event Crop
    • Add Water and Manure to Event Crop

Nuking Event Seeding 2nd Planting Round Requirement

    • Reaping First Round of Event Crops gives you 45 Event Crops
    • Re Seed those 45 Event Crops into 45 x (2x2) Fields
    • Add Water and Manure to Event Crops
    • Add Super Grow This is optional as you need 45 Supergrow this time
    • Add Suzy Super Grow This is Optional as you need 45 SSG this time

Nuking Event Seeding 3rd Planting Round Requirement

    • Reaping Second Round of Event Crops gives you 315 Event Crops
    • 45 (2x2) X 7 Event Crops using without SSG gives you 315 Event Crops
    • Re Seed those 315 Event Crops into 315 2x1 Fields
    • Add Water and Manure to Event Crops
    • No need to use any Supergrow at this stage
    • No need to use any Suzy Super Grow at this stage
    • When your 2x1 Fields are ready to harvest Ensure all fields are now 1x1 ready for Replanting
    • Continue to Replant Event Crops until you have just over Event Crop Requirements
    • Always Ensure that CAC Buff is Activated in Diamond Slot

I know there are many FOCD Farmers are using Same Nuking Tactic As I hope this Helps Those Newbies Farmers who are about to become FOCD Farmers...Welcome to The FOCD Club :D

Thanks a bunch @Mooboy :) Exactly the info I was looking for.
Unfortunately I don't have the SG boosting cloud row (I just started farming this year), but everything else is covered. I have plenty of SG, SSG, all the buffs, and lots of farm machinery hours. I'm way out here in California so I always have to start events a few hours later than everyone else gets to (NO way am I going to get up extra early and feed all my livestock in the dark just so that I can get back in the house to start the event at 5AM here, lol);) .

Thanks again for posting the info!

I have a house full of family and a busy schedule. It's going to be hard to find time to farm :( I'm going to run a few rounds of instant roses on comfort fields for the drops while building up my starter seeds. Will try to get the event crops out of the way as soon as possible and then go to long term crops for some good drops.
Good luck everyone and Happy Holidays :)

I have no idea how I'm going to fit this into my schedule this week but I will try. Hopefully I will at least get some of the goodies if not the CR out of it.

Good luck everyone may your drops be plentiful and your Holiday full of love. :inlove:

With visitors staying, my strategy is to give this a miss. I will fork out 199BB for the latest cloud row instead. There, my head feels better already!

Of course! But you can use both. Or if you are in my situation (without CAC or with 1 CAC to save it to event) you can use only PMM.

Mooboy, I have almost the same tactics, but I combine it with using combinations of different crafts. :D

Even with all these wonderful strategies everyone has shared, Many Thanks !
I find, due to demanded family time, I may end up taking the basket route with this event to try and please everyone:oops::(
Good luck to all, I hope you enjoy the event and have a Wonderful Christmas!

Edit-1st harvested yielded 208 mulling spice bottles.

I'm a little worried about this event. I really wish they gave simpler ones this time of year. oh well... I have until mid-Wednesday before people start showing up at the house to stay until after New Years. I saved the +1 gift box to use here with this event, hoping it'll speed things up before Wednesday.

First harvest gave me 131 drops. I won't complain since someone said we need about 150 per day. I know others have figured out how to get twice that but I'm ok.

Hope the event goes smoothly for everyone!

I too have only few days left. Vacations start day after tomorrow & I will be visiting my relatives. So have to finish it as early as possible and Winter calendar is till 31st too. So I will have to leave that unfinished. Will be missing many gifts and cloud row.

Got 141 drops in my first harvest, with no special preparations for drops. Didn't tear my farm for the drops. That was because I still couldn't put up my farm from the last event (event which required growing event crops - forgot its name?).

I was worried about the event too with family coming to town on Wednesday but I grew some refined (instant) carnations while working on those initial seeds and got enough drops to replace what I will miss. On BW, I will do what I can and be happy. I may just have to enjoy the givers in the shipwreck bay and not in the clouds (they are really cute).

3 fields carnations, 1 field ginger, rainforest with trees yielded 146 drops this morning, so a good start for me. Currently nuking the first rounds of seeds as I type.

Decided to do double auto tree harvest on two main fields (even though it meant missing mega EP on those fields :(). Harvesting with 7 howies yielded around 200 drops :D From the rest of the farm I got an additional 100 drops without using howies. That's a good start :)

The gifts from the polar bear are great, so I'll continue making sugar canes for him after completing the event. That's why I used double auto tree harvest.
