Mir- do we know (I thought it was asked but I don't remember the answer) if only the polar bear gives the additional presents after completing the event or will it be all of them? If all of them, do we know which presents correspond to which animal?

Both farms have got the total of 108 Mulling Spice Bottles, even though they use different strategies. I am quite happy with this as I decided not to wait for all of my trees this morning and went ahead and harvested them before the event. My working this week would mean that the trees will be ready for harvest when I have already left for work tomorrow. This way, I should get a better harvest tomorrow from my Glades (fingers crossed!). So these drops were mainly from Baha trees on this farm, Baha animals (with trees around the perimeter) and one field of trees on Chevrefeuille. :)

I am only using the Baha fields and hope to get the crops finished by the weekend (my one and only day off is Saturday so I am hoping to finish then!). If I feel I need to work more on drops, I will clear one or both of the Main field and Meadow and fill them with Carnations overnight. It all depends how the drops ... drop! :p

What's this, extra gifts after ... must check FAQs. That will also depend on my luck regarding the gifts I get before I finish the event. If the luck is with me, I will continue, if not, I will stop when I have done all the event. :music:

I don't think this is a medium difficulty, it looks quite hard to me - especially during the festive season. But maybe, just maybe, we might get something to help us from the Advent Calendar ... just a thought! :inlove:

Not sure what I did wrong, but with SS and SSG, and CAC and PPM buffs in place, I'm only getting 6 per square. It seems to me that we used to get 7 per square ... ah well. Finally have 180 each of anise and cardamon, and have them planted. Despite overnight prep, my harvest this morning only yielded 105 drops. LLR is at 29% (I'm only missing the last animal trophy, which I'm contributing to steadily), so we'll see what happens.

Already posted in the SOS thread

Good luck everyone, may the drops be ever in our favour! xD

pnp, the latest edit to the FAQs for the event specify which gifts you can get from each animal. I also think that in response to Mir's query (I'll try to find it.) that all animals will continue to appear after completing the event.

alexis, PMM only works on sugar cane, not event crops.

alexis- what size plots are you using?

2x2 - normally gives 5, with CAC gives 7 and with SSG gives 9
1x1- normally gives 2, with CAC gives 4 and with SSG gives 6

Thanks BC - will go check FAQ again....thought I had the latest version copied....

Drops were marginally better ... I got 100 from the trees & animals i had out on my fields ... with growing the event crop i got 9  and 3 from magic trees ... and now have 112 drops :(

So in my case i think an over night high end crop is called for...hopefully refined carnations will yield more ... but not counting on that

WOW that's great Bhodho well done.... am jealous LOL

alexis, do you have your trophies in the LL rune? If not, do you place them both on each field and wait 10 seconds or so (or refresh) before harvesting?

pnp here is the link to Mir's question regarding additional feeding. The answer could be open to interpretation but I'm hoping "animals" means all three types.

alexis, we've all been there. :p

Thanks BC for the link:) I remembered most of that thread but not that the FAQ had been updated and the post closed. I only remembered Mir asking the question and the reply that we were waiting on confirmation. I must have read the rest of the answer at some point because the post is no longer bold print but I have no memory of reading it. Glad you were here to fill in the empty brain cells!;)xD

alexsis- plenty of time to recover. :)
    What was your overnight prep?

Yes, I expect we can get additional presents from all the animals :) The chocolate cookies don't require drops, but the penguin presents are not the best. The only attractive thing for me there are the wonder stables. I don't think I'll be making extras cookies, the 150 required for the event will probably be enough for me.

The event ingredients for candy canes are double of those required for candied apples. The gifts from the bear are in most cases exactly twice as good as ones from the fox. But the coupons are much better, and the item is a 2x2 while the fox item is 1x1, I also prefer baha wonder trees over mainland trees. Furthermore, milling time is saved if you make one candy cane instead of two candied apples. So candy canes it is :D

Hi playful123:) Click ( Here ) for the Holiday Hustle FAQ

Broke down and got a basket -.- The door knocking is just to great.xD
Have Cardamom in the fields, when their ready to harvest, will switch them out with carnations or trees, depending on how long RL will keep me away today.
    Thank for the thoughts everyone.
Hope everyone is having fun with this event!!

    Mir,

Another reason for going for candy canes/polar bear for any additional treats is that Beary Tasty, though slightly worse in terms of overall EPs/B-EPs output per 1x1-plot per day, is the only one -apart from Frosty Friends, that can only be won once- with dual EPs/B-EPs-yielding nature.

Those wanting more EPs-yield per 1x1-plot per day, though, may find Fruit Fox a better option (but, being a 1x2 and not a 2x2, someone may still prefer to try getting an additional Beary Tasty: almost twice the output, dual nature, for more or less twice the requirements). Fruit Fox can only yield EPs.

All in all, I agree, candy canes are the best bet for additional treats. Anyway, I don't think the odds of getting any of these additional items will be good. I bet they'll be rare.

That looks right if you don't have the milling rune @Nellie_Noodles (works out at 36mins for 10 cookies with the rune).
