Well i finished and I'm very grateful for having done so.... hate going to bed the night before an event is to end without finishing first. I have not yet opened my pens and my mainland trees, but Im grateful for all of them as well as the cloud row. Thank you to everyone friends and neighbors that have been so generous to me with those pesky drops. Good luck to those .... still waiting to finish. I will make some candy canes in the morning after harvesting to see if I can get some more Pinky Pie Pies..... Yummy!!!

 

Strategy for the short time remaining is to list in unreasonable quantities low enough to bring the markets I want down. I do not want to sell my listings but I want to buy those that will undercut me.

Those who finished late, congratulations. No hurry here either.

Can Someone tell me if there Is anything else i can use M6 coins on... before they are removed
Have done the FS M6 quest and cannot seem to find anything else to use them on ..or maybe i am missing something ... apart from a brain

Or maybe Famerama might consider changing them into chips and letting us use them at the next fair *** BUT cannot see that happening ***

AND wish they would give us a prize of a cloud row without any trinkets from the event to put on it...in a future event ... so we could put some from our Inventory on it

Wow, finished with 8 minutes to spare. That's really close. I didn't get any extra givers, or toolboxes, but I did get 5 stables. For that I am very grateful.....and they came from the penguins. LOL Thank you everyone for the great advice and seed nuking information.

 

I finished on both my farms. I caved, I panicked, I was afraid with the late start I might not get enough drops. I had used mir's suggestion of enhancing crop squares. I have all 4 needed on my big farm and only 2 on my little farm. I planted the longest crop I needed and used SG on them. It gave me over 40 extra. On my little farm it only shortened the crop to 8 hours, at that point I needed 300+ bottles and had about 48 hours left. I decided to use SG on two rounds of crop square and one of my longest crop I needed. I used WI and fruit cake too. Made my crops about 3 hours. I ended up with about 20 extra and I still had over 20 hours to go.

After I was done, about 9 am, I went to sleep and didn't get up till after 2 am. Can we say my sleep schedule is all oscarspieled (sp).

Edit: With a XXL SG Jumbo tree out all the time I had almost 4000 on one farm and 3500 on the other. I am so glad I could use the SG and not worry about running out. I ended up using them on 1x1's. The lowest amount of SG I have now is about 2500 on one farm.

 

Have only one Beary Tasty ... but have got two fruit fox

Glad to be done, this event was so time consuming! Feeding the bats seemed so much easier. One strategy note that eluded me, you need to allow plenty of time to mill after collecting drops from your last harvest, and hopefully also have time to feed the hungry trio. My drops didn't keep up with the amount of event plants I grew. If I had accepted this sooner, I could have milled more cookies.

Huge thanks to all of my wonderful neighbors and friends, it is so nice to be part of such a generous community!

 

Happy to report that I actually managed to get lvl 2 of bear done. That's one lvl more than my goal. Took me down to the last 5 hours to get enough bottles for the last candy cane but they finally came. Thanks again to everyone who helped me make my first event a success.

My Tortuga trees just finished and I got an XXL pistachio,2 XXL star fruit, 1 XL star fruit, 1 XL pistachio and an XL royal poinciana. All good as the only other trees I have so far on the island are banana trees and 1 brazil nut tree that came from somewhere unknown.

Now it's nose to the grindstone to sort out my farm, 'cause it sure is a shambles!!! Had a ball with the event but now that its over I'm no where. Hiho, hiho its off to work I go!!!!

 

Love my Farm ...BUT Think its time for me to give up playing Farmerama and find a new game
I am Cheesed off with not being able to change fields and having to refresh all the time.. this happened the last two days of the event...half the time the mill didn't work ...My patience is now wearing a little thin
Have put YET another thread in Technical issues Yesterday at 7:49 PM for what must be the third time .... have lost count...but no one has answered this time they are probably sick of me LOL
And am now stuck in Renzo's it's not worth the stress

 

I am so sorry Nellie that your tech troubles continue. Of course, I am always sad when players decide to leave but can understand your frustration. Best wishes to you if you do decide to go find greener pastures.

 

What are the tech details of your computer? Done the normal clearings???

I can't play like it is ...was struggling to do the last part of the event

And cleaning caches ...doesn't seem to have helped. it still happens
Think i have done all the cleaning flash etc ...that i can think of

Ram 4.00gb (3.88 GB usable)
System type 64-bit operating system X 64 based processor
Using windows 10.......
Am not very good at technical details... So hope this is what you are asking

Suits my needs of playing this game ...talking to friends..that's about it ..all photo's and music go onto online storage
Until now i haven't had a problem with playing this game with this computer

***And it Seems i am not alone with this Problem ...people have been adding to my thread over the last few days...which i am grateful that they have ....maybe now it will be sorted out hopefully ***

SO IF anyone else is having the same problem...please feel free to add it to my thread ..I don't mind

 

If you're talking about a thread in Tech issues it probably would be considered "hijacking". My son suggested maybe the animation is causing it to slow and freeze my comp sometimes. I turned mine off yesterday and it seemed to help. Good luck, Nellie
