Nice event, decent prizes (missing the CR tho!), with a lot less pressure about rushing to get the event done. Not needing to collect the bunches and bunches of the ever evasive drops was REALLY nice too, but... IMO there was too much clicking involved for this event. A couple of simple shortcuts provided for getting back and forth easier would not have been too much to ask. I had to do way too much back and forth clicking from farm to the FSQ to the mill... plus add in all of the Fireworks battery planting and harvesting, along with the game lag during all of that and it was quite annoying. We should have been able to use the harvester for planting and harvesting those batteries! Most of us I am sure missed most of the pretty firework displays because we were too busy clicking on the rest of the batteries as the others were going off! Over all tho it was one of the less torturous events of 2015, so it still gets a thumbs up from me. I'm just hoping that if we have a repeat of a similar type of event in the new year that some minor improvements and tweaks will be made.

It was billed as Easy but needed planning. We needed to get those crops grown to complete some stages to continue. I always grow everything I need before starting quests and fortunately managed to do so.
Too much clicking as GuineaUp said. Those of us who pay for the harvester like to use it!
I loved that there were no drop items to worry about.
All in all a nice quest with good prizes. Would have liked a cloud row to take the two givers and perhaps a couple of other items from my barn.

I enjoyed it. The flowers were both very pretty. It was very low stress since there was no "drop" item required and the prizes were very good. My only complaint is that the firework batteries had to be hand harvested. Would not have been an issue for me if it was only a couple but 105? That was a bit of a downer.

Nice, easy event. The batteries were a dud for me.. no show, though I did get the tubes. Interesting to see you try different things. That might bear repeating, since it apparently worked for most people (?).

I don't know why woody you didn't see the fireworks when the batteries were harvested. I couldn't see mine because they were at the top of the field but when I moved the next round, I could see them. Unfortunately, because they have to be hand harvested, the mouse cursor and tooltip are in the way and the fireworks show is just about over. Do you have your animations turned off? I don't know if that may be the problem or not...just a thought.

I really liked the event. Both plants were beautiful and I enjoyed planting them. I am glad that Baha was opened up to use as from the FAQ it appeared it would be only main farm lands. Prizes were nice. The batteries would have been more enjoyable had they been able to be harvested by the machinery and the fireworks lasted longer. I wanted to take a farm photo but could not as they were over too quickly.

I really enjoyed not having to worry about drops. That meant I could farm what I wanted all the way up to the start of the event and even overnight. Much more relaxed and allowed even new players to get some nice prizes for their farms.

Pnp has said what I was about to post, so I will just add my agreement! Enjoyed this more relaxed event very much!:)

  8. A second event I really enjoyed - well, if you count in the December calendar gifts three - nice prizes, not too stressful and a really great idea to add in the cardboard tubes as part of the prizes for the first levels. So good to not be reliant on drops and to only need your own skill, time and enthusiasm to complete it. I loved the exploding fireworks, nice touch to have the flowers shower down as well - and even if there are a lot of clicks, it was worth it for the effect. Well done BP.

Nice, relaxed, the perfect post Christmas/New Year event. No drops was a great idea and I love those fireworks, but I wish they could be harvested with machinery.

Nice event, relaxed. I overgrew some plants and didn't quite have enough of others. :p I liked the fireworks from the fireworks batteries, I just would have liked to plant them with the machinery and harvest them with it too.

I spend money every month for the machinery, I have to with rheumatoid arthritis, I want to use it for things like this instead of clicking ad nauseum. I actually hurt by the time I'm done with planting them and harvesting them. Please, please, pretty please consider that for future events, I know a lot of seniors and others play this game.

nice event apart for a few stupid mistakes on my part I could use the harvester to plant the fireworks but had to harvest them by hand which was a bit tedious.

I agree with all the above, esp the easy pace, the lack of drops required, the request to please have special items harvested by harvester, and keep the flax!!!!

Nice holiday event, Nice prizes, again the firecracker flowers were fitting and pretty, the flax, beautiful! but then I :inlove:all flowers blue in color :p. I did do a bunch of popping between the FS and mill to check for requirement changes which was tedious, but I felt it necessary since the last event with the updates/changes that took place then.
I agree it would have been nice to view the fireworks from the battery pack a bit longer. If we were able to harvest them with the machinery they would have all been ready at the same time allowing for a more spectacular showing! Even adding a slight delay after clicking the batteries, would have granted more time for others to be harvested, ensuring a better fireworks display.
Not having to worry about drops, was wonderful! Thank you !

I agree that it was a nice relaxed event for higher level players and I am sure was more manageable than recent events for newbies and those who have been playing for a short while. It was good to have a change from aiming to win another magical stalk row and just select the prizes that we wanted or what were achievable over the busy Christmas period. The prizes were great, the deco items gave good EP and party spins are always very useful and fun, all prizes were appreciated, thank you. I liked the crops, although we have the firecracker plant before but its a nice colourful one and it was also good again to have different plant maturing times. Also agree with others that it made a change not to worry about drops, especially with neighbours busy over Christmas and maybe not able to gift them. I am glad I read the FAQ properly and saved a lot of crops by using the fireworks to give cardboard tubes! lol.

I managed to finish this event in just over two days, leaving me free to enjoy my winter break away without worrying if I would have the chance to harvest/collect drops.
Prizes were nice though I did find myself looking for the (non-existent) Cloud Row LOL! Talk about Pavlov's Dog! :D

I did find the fireworks a bit of a pain, mainly because I was using slow internet and it seemed to take forever. I would have preferred being able to harvest with the machinery - would have missed the firework display but you can't have it all! :music:

All in all, a great holiday season event, not too demanding - especially stress free without needing drops - but with good prizes and an adequate challenge for all. ;)
