Neon Stable Event January 2016

I wish I had all that luck with getting good skips I haven't gotten any good skips in a very long time

 

Well I just got a Pearl fish from regs so I don't think I am going to press my luck anymore I had enough locks to get 1st CR and the 3 ep givers (duck, cow and sheep) so I'm happy I hope others get good skips too

 

After much discussion amongst the voices in my head , I decided to complete all the levels of the individual animal requirements to get the neon givers. Only a little breeding of cows was necessary, as I had no level 2 or 3 cows to donate here. There ensued a heated debate, however, over whether to get the CR 1 or use the love locks for the CR 2 items (sans CR), as find myself in need of 1x2 items to fill other cloud rows I want activated more. More to my shame, the voices calling for CR 1 won out, as they couldn't resist the temptation of free CCs . I still have plenty of PF to continue breeding and get the 150 locks necessary to get the neon chicken, rabbit, and goat EP givers, but I think I'll save them for future events (skips haven't been all that great - again). Then again, I may wake up tomorrow and decide I must have them, just for the neon-ness of them, lol.

 

I have been aware of what it takes without BBD which is why I rarely breed outside of a BBD. This however really depresses me. I think I won't bother finishing many of the breeding quests or quests like Castles in the Sand which wants 15 Circus Pandas in step 7. By the time you have all the stuff you need, the Baha EP and GBs are not very useful as you have already opened everything in the Baha Temple. The CCs can be earned more easily by selling those Circus Pandas in the market (at least 10 million CCs per in the market). Stars are also less important by then as well. The PF expended to get those pandas is WAY more than the 160 awarded.

 

I finished on my big farm, still working on cows on my little farm. I hadn't any bred cows and didn't have enough to donate for neons or CR. I am so glad I can do breeding in only 6 minutes. Otherwise it's like watching grass grow.

 

Billie_Sue, I had a similar problem to this during the Holiday Hustle event. I kept trying to place my givers, and I kept getting taken back to the farm map. Turns out I hadn't completed all the levels of the polar bear that opened the cloud row; even tho it was visible in my stalk, it was locked, and therefore unavailable to put items on. Are you sure you finished all five donation levels of all three animals? Plus, after they are done, you have to donate 80 love locks to open the cloud row. There should be a big green check mark under the heart shaped lock if it's open. If not, your cloud row isn't open yet. If you do have a check mark and still can't place items, I would seek help in the technical issues thread.

 

It's too hard to choose so like my ostriches I have had my head in the sand trying not to think about where to spend my locks. Does anyone know if the neon shop will sell the goat or rabbit again? I haven't been farming long so this is my first neon event. I'm thinking of buying the cloudrow but will only have enough for one animal with it. Kind of useless if I can't buy the missing ones later... My other choice is a second set of givers. My brain hurts!

If you buy the second cloud row then you'll probably be able to trade for the animals at a later date. They may not be available in the next Barter & Give but maybe one or two after that. It is however up to BP what they allow us to trade so I can not absolutely guarantee they will be available but I'm pretty sure we can already trade the neon stables so can't see why they wouldn't let us trade the neon animals.

@Billie_Sue again: Is it possible you're trying to put the items for CR 1 on CR 2? Even tho it is the second CR, the chicken/goat/rabbit row is above CR 1 for sheep/cows/ducks on the stalk on both my farms. If you're clicking on it mistakenly (easy enough to do), and you don't have it open, it will take you back to the map.

 

Thank you so much for your help with this! I am tempted to get the cloudrow as I don't have many. It will also drive me to distraction if I cannot fill it as I am already hopelessly afflicted with FOCD. I'm going for it!

 

Mir85 it is Interesting to get some True Facts about Breeding as you have shown that consuming 43690 Power Feeds that only twice that we get an Level 8 Breeding Animal the highest one we can get, only able to get 8 of Level 7 Breeding Animal.

This is Scary Insight on Bases of Approx Amount of Power Feeds to Complete any of Breeding Quest not to mention the Amount of Zillions of Based Animals or Even Zillions of Animal Feeds if we was to Grow them in our Barns or Spend Zillions of CC buying Animals in the Market.

It is sad that it is so rare or near impossible to get a Super Skip these Days. So i Changed my Strategy couple years ago to buy up any Bargain Breeding Animals i Find in the Markets. This Save Hell of Lot of Power Feeds as i have done a Chart that is collecting Dust that i put of Value of Power Feeds each Breeding Animal is worth using my Power Feed Valuation Scales on Basis Breeding without Skips

• Level 1 Breeding Animal = 2 Power Feeds
• Level 2 Breeding Animal = 10 Power Feeds
• Level 3 Breeding Animal = 40 Power Feeds
• Level 4 Breeding Animal = 160 Power Feeds
• Level 5 Breeding Animal = 640 Power Feeds
• Level 6 Breeding Animal = 2560 Power Feeds
• Level 7 Breeding Animal = 10240 Power Feeds
• Level 8 Breeding Animal = 40960 Power Feeds

It would cost you 54612 Power Feeds from Base Animal to Level Breeding Animal. As you can see from above Facts we are better off Breeding From Base Animals on Hope of Getting Skips or Even Super Skips.

Baby Boom Certain Helps us keep Breeding Costs Down and Preventing us using More Power Feeds as if we was Breeding outside Baby Boom Event.

I have Got All Three Neon Stables + First Cloud Row and Neon Duck, Neon Sheep and Neon Cow. I would like to have Neon Chicken, Neon Rabbit or Neon Goat. As part of Must have Items lol But it requires a Fair Amount of Power Feeds but these do not give good Baha EP compared to Neon Duck, Neon Sheep and Neon Cow

The Second Cloud Row plus with Three Neon Givers we can Get From the Store using Love Locks but we need 180 of them, that equal to 360 Power Feeds. I have to wait and see, if i am unable to get them as i can always get them at Next Barter and Gift Event, I Rather used my Power Feeds to Complete Breeding Quest, than get this Cloud Row and Neon Items. As It can either helps me Complete Breeding Quests or Selling Breeding Animals for Good CC then i can reinvest into other Breeding Animals which has protential to Make Loads of CC in Near Future Breeding Events.

I will have to rely on Barter and Gift Event to get Neon Chicken, Neon Duck and Neon Rabbit. I will be very happy to do a good Trade for them. As they look so Lovely. But not actually will help my Farm EP Wise !!!

My Shipwreck is already Full of Best of My Baha EP Givers. It is becoming a Pain to Click on all these Cloud Rows I use the Harvest on Cloud Rows when i can as it is much easier but still takes few clicks to Activate the Cloud Row as we need to be Careful to use the Buff Cloud Rows at the Right time to Make your Buffs Effective as possible !!

It Seem now the Breeding Frenzy has cooled down at lot as Breeding Duck,Sheep and Cows now starting to increase in market prices which has been kept lower due to influx of Selling in Breeding Markets. Also The Price of Ducks,Sheep and Cows have cooled down a bit in the Market, as I made some lovely Millions of CC selling them at 6000 + CC Each.

Now i need to selling Breeding Animals for Good CC, while this Event is still running as Baby Boom will end today, to see what is worth Breeding using my precious Power Feeds

 

I don't like the Neon stables .... they are to gaudy for me ...I like the Original pink stables better ..so i am going to be putting a Neon goat...sheep... duck and cow ...in for trading and a neon sheep for the cloud row
Yes i Know they do Mooboy ...that's fine by me ...as long as i don't have to look at these in your face stables ...i can live with one less and less ep

We all farm in different ways and for different reasons ...I farm for the design aspect of making it to how i want it to look ....And to have fun playing in the events and i am happy doing that

@Billie_Sue, Try everything from restart to adding each animal then restart, I have messed up and did the wrong animal to a CR to finding to get on the bean stalk I have to click it get bounced back to last field in about 3-5 times till it let's me in but you will find it if it's a thing, I hope it's only a thing for yeah.

For me shinny new gaming is coming to an end. I had the farm wheel fever, hoe down drooling, and Breeding jitters got to the point now it just will take time to advance. I find this love lock need came at the perfect time for me, wiser farmers showed market buying is the only way to get the higher breed animals, PF says play the market!!! save.
I will be slowing down now, I got most of my animals down to level 8 and will be going for one thing at a time, no more little bit here and there, I am no market guru, heck I am the sweeper after the stalls empty But I will be working on one quest at a time with reading what my market is doing when it falls, when the prices go up and one item at a time I will finish the perm. quests.
PF now will be 2nd, ok soon as I should be able to buy the critters as I buy the crops, no more big time breeding I hope it works for me.

 

Nellie - you will find many farmers lining up at your barn door for your neon pens you don't want and since they will be in high demand, you will be able to trade for something you do enjoy looking at. Happy Farming!

 

I know what you mean about them being gaudy, Nellie. I too prefer the pinks, but I do like the fact they give an extra animal. Next g n t you'll have great fun bartering with those as they are quite sought after.

 

Well finished it all. Filled the whole thing up and ignored the store. Only have 17 PF left.

Am SO pleased ... Now i don't have to do baby boomer to get these pink stables
Am NOT the biggest lover of Baby Boomer....i tend to get everything i don't want from the skips

 

I have CR1-duck, Sheep, Cow- I also paid for the 80 locks. I will not be able to complete the second one for the Cr2 don't have enough power feed. Then again... I am sure everyone helping me is like .. WHAT.. LOL I guess I will throw in the towel on this one. Much Love to my farming friends! Thanks for all your help!!

 

I am sure you have done all the quests steps (or they are too far away for you to do) that offer powerfeed?
