Hey, this is a first :D. I finished the event without spending too much real money ;) and found it quite relaxing despite RL, but i suppose it was only because of my level and I have a certain amount of breeding animals in my barn (well I did before I started :p). Loved the whole experience of it :inlove:.
There is just one thing I would like to say: too many breeding events too close together does not give BP my vote for spending time, effort and in my case real money ;)

Nice, easy event -- but with the caveat that I was prepared. That is good because RL invaded.

  4. Nice, pretty and relatively pain free event, especially if you were well stocked with the three animals.

Only a couple of caveats - first, why is the baby boom event started several hours after an event that is self-evidently linked. Could they not be started together, BB could still finish at the same time, I doubt very many players, if they are going to utilise coloured animals can't and don't wait for the BB start time before breeding, so it does seem rather an odd time schedule.

The second minor issue is why did they make the requirements for the cloud EP givers so high and linked to breeding - whilst the ones gained from the main part cannot be used on one of these clouds. I'm not sure whether using 360 / 720 power feed is worth the rewards. If, like, me there aren't many coloured animals required, the only option is to sell them, which is converting BBs to CCs, so being able to use the EP givers for one of the clouds would have been a better option, instead of having three sets.

However, that said - I'm quite a happy bunny (or should that be a sheep, cow or duck) with the pens, so on balance more I think BP can have quite a few brownie points for the recent events.

I loved this event, the neon pens, and I could go on and on about how great the new breeding process is! Thank you

I agree with the above: nice, relatively easy event (as long as you have enough PF to compete) and good prizes. We've said before, and you have nearly complied, why does the BB start after the event. But at least this time we didn't have to wait days before we can start going breeding crazy! xD

Since the new breeding interface was launched, breeding is much more fun. You don't need to destroy and then rebuild you farm to find space for breeding fields. Thanks to this you can also breed anytime you feel the need to do it.

The results last time (with the reindeers) where pretty poor. This time... well in my case they still were not satisfying, but sometimes I was much more lucky, so maybe it was not my turn this time :) But one of my friends who always complained on poor results this time had some extremely nice surprises, so hope it's true it was only the reindeers who spoiled the fun last month.
As for the event itself, it was not too complicated for me, as I usually keep some breeding animals in my barn for such occasions. I only need to breed some more of them to have for the future and to get the love locks. Neon stables are a pretty good idea as they are much more economical than any other stables. I can even keep my eyes closed whey I put them out on the field as I not a fun those "neon colors" ;)

I only wonder if making each month events where you need to use a lot of power feed is the best idea?

For the company probably it looks fine as a lot of players buy power feed packages. But while talking with my friends and reading some opinions also on other boards, it looks like more and more of them seems to be fed up with so many similar events. They long for the times where we had some months during the year were Baby boom was just an mini event with no additional quest. They had time to get back to the older permanent quest that they hadn't yet finished or even not take part in it at all, but collect more power feed for the next month.

I must say I totally agree with them. Breeding is much more fun when you can breed a lot and spend a larger amount of power feed in a short time and not just count each piece of it to check if you can afford doing the event quest or not.
And not everyone is willing or can afford buying largest packages ever month. Some people regularly quits doing some of the breeding events, because there are too many of them lately. This is quite often the first step that leads to the decision of quitting the game or playing it occasionally. And this applies to long time players who were in the game for at least 2-3 years, sometimes even from the beginning.

Breeding events are nice, but maybe it will be wise to make each years at least 2-3 months free of new breeding animals and breeding short time quests to give players a break?

So I just wanted to say I thought the neon challenge was really fun. It was fun to finish the 3 parts and then the heart lock part.

A little frustrating is that I cannot breed enough and get enough locks to get the other magic stalk row and neon animals. I don't use any money to play your game, so that is why when my power feed is gone it is gone. Looks like I need 172 more power feed to complete the store part.

The main point is the event was great and I liked how we could get the neon stables without finishing all the parts of each animal stage. Thanks for a fun event.

This was my first breeding experience and it was great!! This is now one of my favourite parts of the game...at least until the next new thing.;)

I was starting from scratch, no barn stock except basic and only about 200-250 of each of those. I was able to get the 3 neon pens which make this a success in my books.

Love the new neon pens, especially the cow. :inlove: I was well prepared for the event so I found it to be easy and fun. I got much better breeding results with the new system than I did during the reindeer event. Happy to see that problem was just an anomaly that has been corrected. I love, love, love the new breeding process. It made this so much more fun. If I had to have gone through the old process to breed 3 different animals plus do additional breeding to earn more locks for the second cloud row I would not have finished the event.

The new breeding pen is good: it's easy to use. It was a good event overall but space the breeding events farther apart, it's too taxing on the resources for most. I used hundreds of PF and Pheromones, now if there were one in the next month I'm afraid I'd have to pass. I do have one Pheromone tree but that's not enough to recover from.

Loved the Event. Could take it easy. Agree with co-farmers that the frequent breeding quests are beginning to spoil the fun of the game. I have been playing for more than five years and start having second thoughts about carrying on. The Events have a really lovely "new" touch about them and I wait eagerly for the next one to see what new facets are being introduced. Please no more breeding events for the near future, I beg you on bent knees.

Brilliant Event, I really enjoyed taking part in this one. Easy paced and the added bonus of being able to finish the cloud row from the previous Neon event was awesome. All in all fantastic fun for the weekend. Thanks BP.

As usual, I can't acquire enough PF to actually finish a breeding event since I can't spend real money on game items. So I just managed to breed enough colored animals to get the neon stables, and once again I'm wondering why I bothered, since I won't be able to use them for a long time, as I have no pink stables to put them on, and without doing some concentrated breeding I won't be able to build pink stables anyway. Can't quite finish the event, not quite enough locks to get the neon animals or the stalk row. I really wish there were some slightly easier way to acquire PF in game besides buying it with money I don't have. It still takes 9 hours and a ridiculous amount of resources to produce ONE unit in the mill, so it's a pretty useless way of acquiring any significant amount.

*sigh* At least I've got some good stuff for the next G&T.

Fortunately you can use them, you don't need a pink upgrade :) Any colored upgrade is placed directly on a regular stable (you wouldn't even be able to place a neon on top of a pink).

Well, thanks for that, Mir85, when I got the last set of neon stables that didn't work, but now it does. So that's something, at least.

I really liked that we had so many options in how to play this event. To be able to choose between regular or colored animals for the first part is very nice. Great that we don't have to breed to get the neon stables! Also great that the lovelocks came from all breeding, the event would have been a lot less enjoyable if we had to breed ducks/sheep/cows to get the locks. I also liked that the neon shop was open regardless of the progress with the event tasks. That way players why didn't finish the event tasks could still get a cloud row and items. To sum it up: Love the options! xD

PS. 007Farming, there are no neon animals, what you need to build a neon stable is a "golden" animal :)
