Whoops I forgot to prepare farm... r/l got in the way of remembering this event.... Hope to "catch" up eventually. Only managed to do 1 premium and 1 deluxe lure so far and it seems I am living on octopus so far... but they're tasty. Good luck everyone. :)

I just proved your point puppiesnponies. I cleared my market of all the chocolate syrup (27 offers) ranging from 6300 to 8500 each. I am selling them for now 2 at a time for the max price which started at 13500 and steadily rises.

Well, my usual tactic of getting nowhere near the green circle is working nicely - yielding much better results! Here's to having no hand-eye co-ordination xDxDxDxD

TC - I'm a complete numpty at hitting the mark! :wuerg:Maybe BP is taking pity on those of us with poor hand/eye coordination:music:....and rewarding us for the biggest "miss"!o_OxDxD
Remember people......fishing is an exercise in
patience.:D If each time we threw in the hook/lure and came out with a swordfish....they call it "catching"!!!!!xD (We have a week to earn all the prizes);)
    Good luck!!!

Landed right in the perfect catch part of the circle with the top-of-the-line bait and got........3 parrot fish!
    ....sigh....:sleepy:

Guess the perfect spot isn't exactly the perfect spot!

Now I know why all the chocolate syrup was gone on my market. Nuts, if I'd known we needed it for the pancakes, I would have started buying it Friday when the FAQ came out.:p Like pnp, I don't have the pancake recipe, so didn't feel the need to stock up on syrup.:wuerg:

    puppiesnponies,

What kinds of pink pens did not yield any feathers for you? I'm trying to figure out what the pens'/workshops' optimal time threshold is, provided we need to keep a balance between what we have on lands -and the event's drops types we get- and time/space usage. It's critical, since each pen/workshop will only yield, if they do, only one feather each at harvest time, never more than one. At least, trees and crops can be in 1x1s, hence boosting chances of getting the other event's drops types a lot.

    makeating,

You mentioned you got the CR and the corresponding items by crafting and using 36 premium and 6 deluxe baits, which translated into 754 coins. That means you milled 300 fishhooks, 264 feathers and 288 discs, which you got in a very short time. So, I'm taking those totals of yours as the minimum needed to get the CR operational. Anything above that will be a nice bonus.

Would you be so kind to share from what pens/workshops you got those many feathers? I know from the Pink Royals Club thread you own loads of neon/pink pens. It may be useful to know the kinds you used, given what puppiesnponies reported above. Again, this may help to figure out what the pens'/workshops' optimal time threshold is.

Thanks to both of you in advance.

If I have the lures I will get it, and hope hard the game will give us an event for pinkie pie pie, o_Ops my bad:p I mean choc. syrup.
I was hoping chickens would give more...2 feathers for a field, now try sheep then ....... Anyone got numbers for crops for one field? I am thinking of flowers but I had broccoli on half a field and that one gave me 23 feather mix of that bats, and trees.

I've gotten reasonable results from pigs and classic beaver II, about 50% drop rate. At least, I think that's reasonable, lol, considering some are giving none.

mingling, I got 39 hooks & 7 discs on a field of raspberries with trees around the edge first harvest this morning, and 3 feathers from the 4 eagle stalls on it.

    spotsbox,

If that's so, then it means the pens'/workshops' optimal time threshold is higher than 10 hours. That's very useful to know. Thanks so much.

The event just started and thus it's too early to share the perfect info on what pens to use. My two cents from my own experience so far:
pens that have a runtime under 3 hours: ratio = 1 feather : 30 pens (both main and baha)
pens that have a runtime under 5 hours: ratio = 1 feather : 8 pens (both main and baha)
pens that have a runtime over 5 hours: ratio = 1 feather : 5 pens (main) and 1 feather : 3 pens (baha)

I agree, not the best drop rate we like and it seems to get anywhere in this event will take time but at least it's for free.
For those who are eager there's the option to BUY drop items and even complete lures.

Aluntino, I got the exact opposite of what pnp reported. My neon, pink and red chickens along with 5 howies and powerfeed are producing the feathers for me. My first harvest of my long term pink workshops and stalls didn't so I just took a gamble and it paid off.

    habalala,

Again, like spotsbox's, very useful info. But I must disagree with you about being too early to share info on what pens is better to use. Your own response proves it and further establishes the fact that the pens'/workshops' optimal time threshold is higher than 10 hs. We still don't know how higher but we'll eventually have a fair idea.

    makeating,

Thanks. I had already figured out you used PF. But it's base time what counts. From what you report, then, I gather it's better to stay off from workshops, pink or not, since they seem to be inefficient. I'll go then with my 19 neons and my mid-timed pinks + reds (I won't use any PF, though), above 10 hs base time but not too much higher. Thanks again.

Aluntino - I had out pink bees (2) and no drops. I did get a drop from my orange donkey which is similar in time but on a different field so I know i didn't get them confused. Pink bat did drop but not pink turkey. I don't remember about the pink ostrich, dog, or the new neon pens. I'm sorry, my selection is probably not large enough to make a generalized statement about time but I would have thought a pen that is 22 hours with full LL trophies and a Howie would give a drop.

Just harvested 12 owl stalls and got 6 feathers.
Pink-neon chicken, rabbits and ducks gave me nothing. Neon goats are doing great and strangely Orange goose stalls...I have 15 out and each time I harvest I get between 8-12 feathers.

hehe, I agree with what you say. That's why I said: to share the PERFECT info :)

Alutino, I would agree. I just put out 44 Birthday edition sheep pens (10 hours) and used all my buffs and powerfeed to test if your theory is right. Will update in a few hours.
