As Far as i can remember i bought my recipe for chocolate syrup from the store ...under crafting trade mindy ...have you looked to see if you can buy it ?

Yes, Nellie, I looked. The chocolate syrup recipe was from a 2011 event and we have not been able to buy it.
The finished product has been going for over 16,000 in my market since this morning. I was lucky to grab several priced under 10,000. Will just have to wait and watch the market.

Aluntino/makeeating69/Pups.....Before this Event Started I put out 76 Workshops consisting of Bio Glue Labs and Hydrant Factories From these Production Pens I got 76 Lure Feathers. Therefore using a Normal Production workshop using a 2x2 gives 1 Lure Feather default to every 2x2 Field Space used.

Using Buffs and Water on Workshops, plus using Two Cloud Rows of Workshop Reducing Times can be used too. But i have gut feeling that Produces Stables can reap more Lure Feathers during this Event. It Seems odd some Pink Workshops or Pens are not Producing Lure Feathers. But I must Insisting used your Howie Donuts as often as you can as they do really help with Drops !!!

Once this Event has started. I Put out all my Neon Stables, Some Orange Stables and Yellow Stables. I had a Mixture of Goats,Ducks,Rabbit,Sheep...sizable sum of Yellow Turkey Stables....I also have put out Moles,Groundhogs,Kangeroos, Hampsters I have Managed to get about 14 Lure Feather per Field on Basic of using Buffs and Water going times down to between 4 half Hours to 8 Hours.

It is Concept to be able to reap these Stables as soon as you can make most of Buff Effectiveness as Many Keep Forgetting that Growth Boost Rune does help reap Stables Pens Sooner !!. I wont not recommend to Places lower Lower Animal Stables i suggest place Turkey Pens or Higher to Yield a Decent Amount of Lure Feathers.

I got 159 Fishhooks on my First Harvest. I did Nuke Carnations using 40 Comfort Fields using Supergrow i got 40 Fishhooks each time to i again +200 Fishhooks. Currently all Fields have Stables Pens with XXL Trees on the outside as I keeping facts on want amount of drops we are getting.

On Recent Harvest of Stables i am getting on Average 1 Lure Feather for Every Two Animal Stables as I just Harvest 10 Groundhog i got 5 Lure Feathers !!....Workshops seems to give 1 Lure Feathers Each but is on Basic of during of Workshops which i might Test this theory Tomorrow

 

Drops seem low but doing okay I think. Have all four farms with cloud row and now need items to put on it. Good luck all.

 

I was hoping that at least one of the posts in the technical issues thread, about bad catches with deluxe lures, would have been responded to by now. If you haven't milled lures yet, you might want to wait. I am already regretting the three deluxe lures I made. The promise was better catches, not just more fish. If the FAQ chart is not being honored then 3 plain fishing lures, which require fewer drops and give the same result are the best choice.

Edit: Shoogersweet answered this in technical, all fish can be won with any lure. Extremely disappointing, the chart was extremely misleading, but at least we now know not to waste our limited resources on the premium lures.

 

My field of 44 birthday sheep stalls produced 27 feathers without my howies. Hope this helps.

Just harvested 15 neon chickens without howies and got 8 feathers. My chicken upgrades have been producing.

I'm getting good results from ostriches (red and yellow, 3 for 3) and yellow chameleons (5 from 7), 7 beehives produced 5 feathers, bears 2 for 3, orange horses 5 for 9. This is on bearbabe. Monkeys are doing nothing but flinging poo on both farms . Switched out my neon chicken for another eagle, they still are giving good results, 3 for 4 again on spots, and 2 for 2 on bearbabe.

 

Was very busy today, but did a little fishing. My initial drops: 124 hooks, 73 feathers, 40 metal disc
Milled 8 premium lures before running errands - sadly before the reports from others on catches.
Results: 3 marlin, 5x two lobster Got a perfect catch (on the ring) four times; caught 50% marlin & 50% lobster.
Games looks to be going the way of the first fishing event. Oh well!

Superjumbo trees gave 2 for 5, neon chicken, duck and goat gave 0, red pigs and pink duck = 0, anaconda are 1 for 2.

 

ok everyone FYI I just fished with a regular lure and my finger slipped off the mouse and hit the spot in the dark blue and caught a marlin. lol yep that's right..I said it. a marlin!!
no where near the right place in the bullseye and yet??
So it is definitely all random.
Not that I'm complaining...I caught a Marlin!! lol
That makes 65 coins yeehaw!!!

 

I'll be waiting for a fix as well.

I've made three Deluxe lures. Hit the tiny ring with all three. Received Blow fish X3 & Parrot fish X 6 for a grand total of 27 coins.

I guess I just expected better results than this.

Am I doing something wrong here?

I have made a total of 5 deluxe lures so far, I started late because I forgot it started. Was doing something in RL. I got octopus X6, marlin X3, blowfish X3 and parrot fish X3 not all were bullseyes, the marlin was though. Drops are lamentably low but not pathetic.

 

I am doing better with my cuckoos than a lot of my other animals.

 

I'm glad this event is 7 days! I'm producing poo at an enormous rate, 3 fields of animals, to get enough feathers. I'm doing deluxe lures for now - getting OK results. Total of 207 points so far. But maybe I'll change to different ones later when we have better info from other players.

 

Aetheria14, In the Last Strategy Feedback on Last Fishing Event. That has Evidently Being Posted here. That many of us have been getting the perfect Catch but do not always get Marlin or Octopus Even !!!

I have Managed to get Marlin few times using a Fishing Lure. It Really more luck than Skill. The FAQ on Milling Lures of Deluxe Lure is misleading that you get Better Chances of Marlins which has nothing to do with Better Skills as I have Tried all Three Fishing Lure, Premium Lure and Deluxe Lure. The speed of the Rings runs at the same speed the Deluxe Lure or Premium Lure does not slow it down

Premium Lure just gives Double Amount of Kind of Fish you won, Deluxe Lure gives Triple Amount of Fish you won. So far I have Managed to Avoid getting an Mackerel. But i have Managed to Hit the Green Ring about 1mm Before and After but still getting a Lobster which is a Good Spot with Mir85 Chart



Which does not make sense. I was wondering and Curious what would happen if we did the opposite if we try to land on Weak Spot I would wont be surpised if we won something Higher than Lobster this way. So far these Facts is based on Theory. In Reality we are getting different results to seem to be indicating that it is down to Randomness again. Which happen in last Fishing Event.

WOW makeeating69 got 44 Birthday Sheep Pen...hardly saw any of these during Barter and Gift Event. For Newbies Birthday Sheep is same as Orange Sheep Pen gives Two Sheep Each !!

In the FAQ in Fishing Shop we can Buy Chocolate Pancake Reciepe...but it is Missing Chocolate Syrup Reciepe. But I have been hoarding 413 Chocolate Syrups as I was slowly making Chocolate Pancakes since i got Huge Surplus of Salt and Sugar in my Barn as i have put up some Chocolate Syrups for Sale. Plus now crafting Chocolate Syrup in Confectionery to be sold in the Markets will sell them in small Bundles but with Caution !!

Metal Disc can only be Acquired by Harvesting our Trees. Some of us may prefer to get Metal Disc as Gifts so that we can Mill Premium Lure as Metal Disc seem harder and Longer to Reap Compared to Lure Feathers and Fishhooks !!

 

LOL! My head is spinning from all this great info! I have just stuck with my regular fields - mostly animals with trees round the outside on Main, Meadow and Glade, trees on Baha fields, CF similar except one field of Camels and Flying Carpets on one field.

I have managed to make and use 7 Deluxe Lures - got the Marlin twice and enough points (234) to get the CR and the "Net Fish and Chill" item. So, after one day, I think I have a third of the coin requirement for the CR and all items. Looking a the other items, I will probably go for all of them except the Chocolate Pancake recipe on this farm (lucky enough to win it eons ago!).

Same for CF (except I will go for the Chocolate Pancake recipe) - just a little behind the main farm (harvested Baha before remembered about the event!). Got five Deluxe Lures in the mill queue.
My strategy for the actual fishing is not at all scientific - just click and go! First go I got a Marlin so I think it works!
I will probably wait until nearer the end of the event before I "spend" any of my coins ... or maybe not, who knows!

That is subtracting gifts from neighbors and friends. Now I don't know if this means I'm doing good or should change things but like I said at beginning of event, I wasn't going to stress about this event and be happy with what I got from drops. I altered my farm in no way except to put away my O Geese and put out my OR rabbits (getting low on anaconda food) May many good catches come everyones way!!!
