Hooked on Fishing strategy

Hi Broke. I am using Three Refinements on Lady's Bedstraw it has most effective Manure Refinement since Manure has been selling for less than 2 CC each all Week. The only other time Manure is this low is during a Breeding Event !!

I Totally Agree with you and Point out as well about Animal Feeds, Certainly Baha Animal Feeds. The Biggest downside to Baha Animal Feeds that it takes too long to Mill 1 Feed !! I have stop Growing Animals on Baha Island and Rain Forest. It is pointless Growing Critters there as the Price of Feeds is selling for more than Prices of Animals in the Market all except Parrot Feeds. So Lately i have been focus selling Animal Feeds while the Prices remains High, as i can always buy them back once the Animal Feed Prices have cooled down.

Currently Made a Few Million on Animal Feeds, as I am selling Main Farm Animal Feeds too. Even Chicken Feeds never been so High so try make some CC while you can. Any Profits on This is much Easier to buy Animals you are short on in your Barn. As I am buying fair amount of Rare Animals and Stocking up on Turkeys, Pigs and Horses !!! too.

As I have Put out some Rare Animal Pens that is selling for Good Prices but have decent stock of Animal Feeds that i actually Milled, I never buy Animal Feeds to grow critters where Feeds cost more than Critters in the Market !!

Any Surplus Coins I Gained during remainder of this event will buy Cloud Row Givers the older ones which is better Value !!

 

I can't believe it! I am 19 coins away from completing both cloud rows! (I had the old cloud row only when starting-no givers) I have used 2 fields of trees, 2 fields of my best animals, and 1 field crops...only used 1 regular lure and got a good result, and the rest have been premium and deluxe. 2 mackerels from the event so far, and that was due to my own screw up. This event is turning out far better than I expected

 

The event requirements will be forgotton soon. But what Mooboy did with the growing strategy should not. Two things Mooboy did not say:

1. He received the ep faster (more in time) and
2. He received the crops faster (more in time) to sell or do as he wishes

Yes I am having Fun in Numerous Forms !!!....A) Making Most benefits of using Refinements, as Broke Kindly Reminded me to Reap my EP and Crops Sooner....B) Which Helps me be able to reap/harvest my farm sooner....C) It also helps me Reap The Event Drops sooner, along with other Tool Drops and Crafting Materials too, Which goes towards me Building Coloured Animal Pens or Coloured Workshops.

davidb, I guess that pink fish makes up for the other 3 Myself I got platypus, rooster, wolf, and stork(that gives me a bakers dozen of those guys) Trees were XXL strawberry, xxl pine, xl strawberry, sea buckthorn, and 2 mountain juniper, Baha trees were xxl fig, xxl avacado, xxl dragonfruit, xxl papaya, xxl starfruit(enough of those already) and achacha. All in all, I'm happy with those. I also managed to get the 2x1 ep giver from the last event to finish that CR plus an extra Fishin' Fun giver, the complete new CR and most of the extra goodies. Now i'll just wait and see what kind of lures I can make before event ends and see what else I can aquire

Only started the fishing this evening and I've done 47 Delux + 1 Premium and got 1251 coins. Not the best I think - will use the rest on Premiums I think

so far, fishing is good over all, luck seem back as my deluxe lure catch many top fish(25cois)
Now, I had exchange 2 something under water, 498coins on hand, I will wait under my last
catch to decided what should exchange.

 

Both farms got the CR and all their goodies. Illy got all the extras plus one of the older EP items (the one with the highest EP/BEP). This farm was a bit slow on the uptake and bought Pinkie Pies instead of going back to look for EP items (Illy has way too many and this farm still has lots of space to fill!). Probably should have thought about this yesterday when brain was (more) in gear - getting up early before work to finish an event is probably not recommended!

Anyhow, I did indeed have fun. This event fitted in very nicely with my working hours this week and I got what I was after, which is always a bonus! Good fishing all those still angling for some more prizes!

I need your advise. I have purchased the cloud row with items and got a second "something in water" too. I have purchased stables and trees, power feeds, party tickets.

I still need to purchase
1. 5 GBs (120 coins)
2. 60 super grows
3. 10 stars
4. 5 pinkie pie.

I have 317 coins. I shall manage another 50 Coins, I think. Shall I chose GBs or go for the EP givers ? If for the Ep givers, what shall I choose? I am not able to decide. Golden bananas attract me a lot....... But is it prudent to chose it over EP givers ? Help me choose.

Of late, every event tend to give some amount of GBs.

We have another poet ! That's great ! That is a superb poem. My mother too likes your poem. She also enjoyed David's poems. I read out loud both of your poems to her. She write poem in our language (Tamil). I cannot even write a single line of poem. But I can enjoy one.

 

12ss - My personal choice would be the "Best Friend" Ep giver x 2. He gives good Ep/Bep and is really cute. The rest of the coins I would spend on SG, and maybe the sticker, if there were any coins left over

Ps. As for the GBs - there will be a time when you just have too many and sadly they've lost most of their appeal

 

Thank you, hatzeva. You put an end to my dilemma. I will take your advice and go for the EP giver. I bought 4 Pond Monsters instead of best friend because mostly I do only one harvest of EP Givers. With last 5 coins I bought the stickers. Thanks to the player who first put the thought to me - go for EP givers rather than GBs - woody or willow or Mooboy - I forgot which and I am not able to find his/her post. There are so many pages in the thread. Any way you all suggested good strategies....thanks for that too.

Now I am off to my other farm, to see what I can do there.

Finished exactly with 0 coins, 0 lures, 193 discs, 21 hooks, 2 lobsters, 2 parrotfish and 2 blow fish.

Game is over too.

 

And this is why strategy goes bust if the game does not work as we want, but only works as the devs 'intended it'
Thanks anyway of providing insights to what sort of trees and pens gave better drops for this event.

Here a video proof of several times a faulty catch. That according to BP is not possible and even with this proof it will be, most likely, my fault anyway. The devs will blame it on my connection or whatever, what would be weird because I got marlins at perfect spots.

I had similar experience. Meesleepbeest. I too caught lobsters and parrot fish in green circles.

I never caught the Mackerel ....that's a comfort......hmm...

Happened to me too. Caught 14 lobsters with premium lures in spots that shouldn't have been possible. Same thing for parrotfish using deluxe lures. Thanks for the video!
