    What a beautiful Australia Day it is :inlove:

    A brekkie of vegemite on buttery toast. A lamb barbie xD followed by tim tam slams with milo :inlove:

    Beach cricket beside the local creek. (Illegal -.-) fireworks as the full moon rises whilst relaxing with a schooner / stubby xD.

    Another awesome day in this awesome country. Thank you 8)

    Yes i must say i'm tossing up the idea of a barbie for dinner this evening i can almost smell it now *drools* :inlove: but looks like it may Strom-.-

    my Australia day has been none eventful :( Hubby had to work and didn't take a sicky like most the rest of the population :mad:
    So i must say i just had a little sleepy in my chair;) ...... HIGH ENERGY Australia day lmao ......xD
    and i even don't drink beer so no stubbies for me lol :p

    I remembered it was today because it's the same day as my birthday:music: I would like to visit Australia in the future.

    hehehe yes it is when someone calls in sick to work saying they are sick ....... so they can't go in .....
    but in actual fact they are having party at the beach or some such thing lmao .....

    Hope your Australia Day was wonderful! During the Australian Open Tennis, they get Fly-bys of your equivalent to our Blue Angels. They even pause playing in the evening for 15 minutes or so while the fireworks go off!

    I like the lyrics to your National Anthem. :music: I've heard it many times, but I've never seen the actual lyrics before. When I reread your posts this morning I saw where it says you don't drink beer. o_O I've never met an Aussie who didn't enjoy, Blowin the froth off a cold 1, or 2!,!! :D

    A quick story you might enjoy.

    When I was in the military we were at a big exercise where our aircraft were parked across from some Australian jets. Our maintenance people played a little joke on their maintenance people. ;) The next day we found red kangaroos all over our jets! Lmao We were finding kangaroos on our aircraft in hidden places for weeks after the exercise!!:D:D Ever since then whenever I meet, hear, or see an Aussie I remember that. :):) A great bunch of folks! :inlove::inlove::)
