Screw up of the day

LOL....I can remember doing that on lettuce...I was so upset...

 

I bought what I thought was the pinkie pie recipe.. wondered why it was so cheap. Discovered why when I realized it was only for 5 pies, not the recipe at all! Ah well... at least my farms are high enough/productive enough that I have gotten everything anyway.

 

I bought BBs day before yesterday and missed out on mega EP day

 

I bought BB's yesterday, got my 100% EP and then got called away from the farm didn't make it back until this morning After the 100%EP had lasped what a waste

 

I put out all my high EP wonder stalls yesterday in prep for mega EP day. I have a dozen each of the roosters, wolves, kiwi, hedgehogs. I harvested them quite happily and then without thinking fed and watered them all again. So much for that using that field for the rest of the day.

 

Ouch JJ and LDCrow

So many ouches in this thread and I find it hard to "like" any of them - I just feel sorry for what happened.

Had my own ouch moment this morning. Put out 6 Wonder stables last night and totally forgot about them when harvesting this morning. Harvested, got the builder to demolish all stalls and in a hurry planted some Orchids to get the last few hooks for Fishing.

No idea what I got all the fun and anticipation, poof gone. I've gone through my inventory and the only one I can notice is new is a Kiwi, but he sure is lovely

 

Hatzeva maybe you could ask a mod in the Technical issues, I think they can find it out!

 

Thanks sweet Arielh that is an option but I think I should not bother them with such an unnecessary and silly question.

One of the gotcha's of the touchscreen IPAD type of computer like I'm using is you have to be careful not to double tap the screen, or you'll get 2 of something you may not want. Due to RL constraints I've been very limited on the amount of time I can spend farming so I didn't get quite enough items to finish the fishing event.

However I did get the CR, but when I went to select my givers to complete the CR I accidently double tapped on the, "Something in the Water", one thus using up all my coins so I couldn't complete the row
I guess the good news is, at least I did it on a good EP giver. I'll just have to wait for the next G&T event to get the others.

 

Which of the items are you missing Doc?

 

I've got an extra set of all 3 of the givers for that cloud row, doc, I can trade you for the one you're missing .

My oops for the day: went to sell some greylag geese, since prices are so lovely . Meant to list 10 offers of 1 at an exorbitant price...listed 1 offer of 10 at an exorbitant price . At least it's the lowest exorbitant price listed (for the moment), so maybe I'll get lucky.

 

Doc, I'm sure one of us will be able to trade you an item to complete your CR.

You know my screw up a couple of days ago actually turned out to be phenomenal foresight. I just sold all those extra roosters for quite a nice and tidy sum of CC's

 

Well, mine happened yesterday. Got home from work, ripped up my main farm ready for moonlight planting and then remembered it has its own field - old habits!

 

Thank you all for your kind offers to help fix my screw up. I have 2 of the, "Something in the water", givers and that is all. When the next G&T comes along I will gladly trade 1 of them plus another item of you're choice to complete my cloud row.

Well, If you didn't read it over on the Technical Issues page I messed up after I milled some Blue Meringues.
I was looking to light up candles 13 and 19 and couldn't find them! I wrote my message then went back through my Print out of Mir and Mooboy's messages on the Strategy thread. And then I found I had used them on spot 3... Aughhh
At least I got some nice prizes off the Party Wheel.

I believe senility has definitely set in for me because here I am with another screw up.

When I looked at everything needed for the Piece of cake event I thought I already had enough of all the nonevent items, but when I came to the tile requiring truffles I thought I needed 23, but I only had 15. So I put out 2 more truffle stables, in addition to the 1 I already had out, and I used power feed to speed them up. Later, as I was completing the tiles requiring nonevent items I went back to the truffle tile and after studying it for several minutes I realized I only needed 15 truffles and I had 23. Oh well, now I will have extra truffles to sell, or use for the FSQ.

 

I would advise saving those truffles, Doc, they seem to come up in events more and more lately .

Was having connection issues when trying to harvest/plant first thing today, so was hurrying while I was still connected. Missed harvesting my rainforest full of trees . At least I got the chick peas planted before the wind messed up the connection again.

 

I wasn't paying attention and instead of harvesting my "favorite" CR's I accidentally harvested all of my plant buffs.

 

I'm working on the Party In Paradise quest, and having some down time between events, I'm trying to do several levels a day. So I set it up last night to be able to finish level 8 and 9 as soon as I logged in this morning, even remembering to turn off auto tree harvest before going to Baha. Level 8 was no problem, but discovered that the pineapples I planted for 9, were supposed to be sweet potatoes. So my trees and pens sit and wait while I grow sweet potatoes to finish the level.

Baha's my jinx today. Working on Island Cosmetics, accidentally donated all my ginger but 10. But I got the recipe at least.
