Can we get rid of the stickers???

I know this will have mixed reviews. Here is my opinion; i think that they are a colossal waste of time and resources. I dont really need a virtual sticker album...just sayin

 

I am one that feels stickers should not cost anything, but to be a free give to all that finish the events. But to call them that is a bit over the top.
Stickers can be fun for farmers that like them, it's nice to look back in the book and remember.
I know when I went over to friends houses having stickers was just the best kids love them, also stickers for older kids my fav. To blazes with the snake beware of owner! I bought 14 to also give friends with scaled friends.
I just think it's best to say nothing and just don't use them, to say waste of time is a bit mean, so those that love em are what?

 

Mingling I can agree with that...free stickers-sure. but having to use resources to get them-not a fan. Not intended to offend...merely stating that we shouldnt have to give 1000 apples and animals for them...I reward at the end, free, to commiserate is cool. I too, as a child, would put all my stickers in a book. As a teacher, I give stickers for good behavior---esp scratch & sniff

 

Didn't read that in your post at all.
Words can cut like a knife <Adam ant> and the wound never goes away. Your words could ruin a happy for someone, tarnish it, make it less from that point.
I try every single day to give a smile, real goal a happy but at least a smile, yours to me just to hurt and to change it to copy my post after the fact is just sad.
Enough, I have no time for the hurtful, heaven forbid some kids reads it and sees they are a waste of time!

I also fail to see the point in the stickers. If you take part then you should get one without growing anything.

 

I am not a fan of stickers and object to them being a prize. I totally agree with you eli, they are a waste of our resources as they give no value, but I can see why the little ones might like them.

 

Thanks...an opinion is just that an opinion. I can see how the little ones would like them.

Also...i noticed that when u hit reply in someones post...there post gets quoted in yours...so that person knows you were responding to them...u cannot change their post and it even says in quotes.

Anytime I have the chance I try not to get stickers. I also don't like them.

 

I'm completely ambivalent towards the stickers. I just don't get them when they are an option on their own. I don't see the harm in offering them to those that do like them and they are an easy way to keep track of when you completed an event. I can't remember an event when they were not optional so I honestly don't see what the fuss is about. (shrugs)

 

My sticker book pages are full! If we keep recieving them, need more pages! Otherwise, stop the stickers as prizes. they do nothing really...unless BP has something in store for us?

 

At first I liked getting the stickers as it was a sense of accomplishment. Then I thought this is getting out of control So I told myself "Betcha BP is going to have something that will involve these stickers" and apparently DBAYES is thinking the same I just saw YAKI's (??) post in the competition of the old sticker album where they switch around. I love that idea, wonder why they changed it?

 

I forgot that we even had a sticker book! Checked it out.....I am okay with no stickers...especially given as a prize or for a costNo thank you
