The Anaconda is quiet and slow moving yet a quite fierce Bahamarama reptile. Many have felt the bite yet few warn of its danger. The Anaconda chain is introduced in the tutorial to the game yet the unknowing often fall victim to the snake.

The Anaconda does have a chain. The snake is not a breeding animal and there is not a product. The snake has the following uses:

    1. It may be submitted during any of the 15 steps of The Farming Quest (EV is 592)
    2. Theme Party Step 4 Diamond 125
    3. Openning Gala II Step 4 Silver 100
    4. Openning Gala II Step 4 Gold 200
    5. Openning Gala II Step 4 Diamond 325
    6. Shipwreck Bay III Step 4 Silver 125
    7. Shipwreck Bay III Step 4 Gold 200
    8. Shipwreck Bay III Step 4 Diamond 250
    9. Island Cosmetics Step 8 Silver 10
    10. Island Cosmetics Step 8 Gold 20
    11. Island Cosmetice Step 8 Diamond 30
    12. Castles in The Sand Step 4 Silver 100
    13. Castles in the Sand Step 4 Gold 200
    14. Castles in the Sand Step 4 Diamond 600

    The Anaconda chain
    1. One use of wheat (2) is to produce the chicken feed (2 mins 42 sec no mill subscription)
    2. chicken feed is used to produce the chicken (basic pen 220 and 1 hr. 30 mins no water)
    3. One use of carrots (2) and hay (3) is to produce the rabbit feed (3 mins 36 sec no mill subscriptions)
    4. rabbit feed is used to produce the rabbit (basic pen 350, 6 hr 30 mins no water)
    5. chickens (4) and rabbits (2) produce a single Anaconda feed (35 mins 6 sec no mill subscription)
    6. Anaconda feed is used to produce the Anaconda (basic pen 7,500 and 8 hrs no water)
wheat, carrots, hay, chicken feed, rabbit feed, the chicken, the rabbit, and the Anaconda feed make up the chain to the finished Anaconda.

The Main farm mill as well as the Bahamarama mill may be used. The word "may" is used because one "may" purchase the feed as well as the feed items. That decision alone has its ramifications.

Generally speaking, serious involvement in the Anaconda chain can be a very expensive yet quite unprofitable undertaking. Not to encourage or discourage anyone from preparing for the day of Anaconda breeding: Quite few are prepared or desire to begin such an undertaking. Many participate in the chain yet unknowingly do so.

The serious producer may use different buffs and cloud rows to their benefit in reducing time and increasing output of some components. These buffs involve use of the Artisan products which require use of other crops in order to prepare for use.

Beware: One seeking quick profits can be eaten alive by the snake!

Some effects of a call are directly related to an item yet the entire chain is affected. Some effects may be seen immediately and some later (latent effects). Some effects may not be quickly evident with the naked eye and require determination from more sophisticated analysis if one chooses.

Although a strategy may be developed, game developers consider the effects on the entire chain of items and have past data to do so. With each event, developers become a tab bit more accurate as to predictable effects.

Demand often leads to price considerations. The chicken and rabbit both are breeding animals as well as play a part in the quiet and detailed Anaconda chain.

My strategy today includes playing the entire Anaconda chain with caution. One must begin somewhere and the day of playing and growing wheat and carrots has not been forgotten.

If one has the animal pens then one may produce the Anaconda for less than 100 ccs

    ---- edit ----
The rain forest and Bahamarama island can each hold a maximum of 41 pens for a total of 82.

One may harvest timely for 3 harvests a day for a total of 246 Anaconda. (24 hours)

******* The Bahamarama Mill will produce only 41 feed in the same 24 hour time period (no mill subscription). Even with the mill subscription one cannot keep up with production. Imagine the chaos caused by a call for Anaconda and all Farmerama producing Anacondas.

SMoJ, Sweet Mother of Jesus, and his Holy Mother! I always thought snake food was costly but not to this extent. Thanks for the interesting insight!

Have been using my Anna Conders in the ship wreck III quest ....I put trees around her xD

Have just put out a field of all chicken pens for manure for carnations ..
Couldnt believe how much manure was in the market ...considering it doesn't seem to have an exchange value ..

Now wouldn't that be fun? :pxD

I find it hard calculating on the cost of the animals. Do you grow the crops for milling the feed yourself or buy them? Do you mill the feed yourself or buy it? In the snake case it just goes on and on...do you produce the rabbits or buy them? Same for the chickens. Oh, I just can't keep up with all these questions and I definitely cannot remember all I do in this game, so I just pretend I buy the crops for milling the feed...but I know it's not always true...and for the snake it's not true at all!

I play that snake feed chain too except for the buffs, which makes the calculation even harder to do....If I produced the Anaconda myself I would not know at all what the cost was except if I did only buy the crops and made everything else myself....but I don't!
If I did, it would surely take up some space in my farm too...space I need for something else...and I know I can get more ccs selling the chickens and rabbits in the mkt. than what I have to pay for the finished snake buying it the same place...

I can also get the feed cheaper compared to what I get for my chickens and rabbits (if I made them myself) and without taking up the time in the mill. I would not use that feed for producing Anacondas if I bought it though...the finished animal is still cheaper to buy...BUT IF the Anaconda was to become a breeding animal I would need that feed to produce the product....

    Thanks for the insight Broke:)

I am currently keeping Anaconda's for the quests I am completing and Ship Wreck Bay III. It is costly and I don't keep many pens.

I put out anaconda pens ONLY when I needed to finish quests. They are all done now. I am hoping we don't get either breeding anacondas or more events requiring them. I don't like them!

    I just wish:
If designer want the high costly anaconda to be new island breeding animals.
Pls, pls, let the snake eat Egg!
change the anaconda feed to egg, yes the price of egg will rise a bit, but as
there is egg tree & many egg farm on most farmers' "dust" inventory.
I think it will be welcome by most farmers. Oh, may be ......
    e
xcept those marking profit on "anaconda chain" stuff.

I totally disagree:) I don't wish they would change the food for the snake at all. What about the farmers who worked so hard making feed and producing the snakes? Even if BP gave those farmers a great compensation I would not want them to change it....
I like the challenge:) And I like the challenge regardless playing the feed chain or not. I play a lot of other things in the mkt....Playing the feed chain doesn't provide me the Anacondas. I still have to produce them or buy them and they are costly. Of course playing the mkt gives me more ccs to spend...we all have the opportunity to do so :)

I think the game needs a few huge challenges in it. I am a long time player and have finished many of the quests, but I keep finding new challenges and I need them to keep me hooked on this game. Leveling up is not enough for me - it's just not fun enough.
If everything was easy I would be bored and quit. We now have Neon pens and surely BP will make sure we need them for something or they wouldn't be here. Great thing about this game is that we can take these challenges or leave them. We don't have to do anything if we do not wish to. And some of the challenges we can even decide ourselves when to take like the FSQ. I have not finished the breeding quests because I don't find them worth it. But they are indeed a challenge! Maybe one day I will go for them if I can't find anything else to go for.
I just hope BP makes sure that the rewards are worth it compared to the effort. In my opinion the rewards for a potential breeding quest for anacondas should be much bigger than for any other breeding quest.

Bottom line is I welcome the challenge whatever it will be:)
Writing this I am not prepared for anything regarding Anacondas but I will surely keep those creepy snakes in mind and try to do something about it while I can.

Whew, I have absolutely no use for snakes of any kind. I slipped and broke my back in RL trying to kill one.( lol could be I didn't know what I was doing so that was a first and last for me) But again from time to time they are needed in this game so when I got a 100% harvest bonus and could get them 2 for the price of 1, got them while the getting was good. The feed I mill 10 here 15 there so it adds up over time. Try to have at least 1000 units of feed for each animal. Just got a little behind on the island because now we can raise so many more animals at a time. Slowly catching up as inventory of animals builds up. At this point in time it is almost pointless to raise them for the market but I do watch the prices to buy.

:DIt has been a fun trip to get here, thanks for listing all the uses, got the feed made and then some to finish the last 213 I need for that last quest part, just have to wait till the grand snakes field time rotate around again and then all I make are mine!!!

I agree with meba, it now has no meaning for me to level up, I just know I need level 97 to make feed for my kiwi I play I will get there.
But the challenge of making the grand snake, the figuring out of the rotation of the fields to get the animals just right, the will power needed to not sell the chickens, I am thinking of playing more in the market soon, but right now I make most of what I use and when I found the balance between making food for the food then making the snake food to get the chance to make a snake is just wow.
Now if we could figure out how to get that squirrel in the log out!
But I am looking forward to making many more, as a breeding animal 8) sweet, as my dream for a neon bat one can dream.

meba091 & all those work so hard on anaconda chains.
I had no intention to offend anyone. My idea come out just because..
"changes" is BP usual behavior, dog feed change, elephant feed changes.
Who know which is the next animal !
My farm style is mill my own feed. grow/raise most of the ingredient of feed.
each time I mill the anaconda feed. I saw my little chicken & rabbit qty drop a huge down.
I know some snake eat egg, but anaconda don't. So, egg is only a small unrealistic hope.

I don't think you offended anyone:) Everybody is entitled to speak their opinion. I just happened to disagree.
I hope BP will not change anything about that snake.

Pst Keltic you "only" have to reach level 95 to get to Kiwi feed :p

Snakes, I don't like snakes. Sure, I have seen lots of them (- only when I have no other go - like when I go to our villages - where we cannot do anything but stand still to let it pass by- but they are harmless creatures, if not frightened or disturbed -If you don't disturb or frighten them, they won't disturb you or bite you - they will just move away ). Even touched one. That was when I was young and I went to snake park. A staff over there took out a snake held us for to touch it. It was very soft and smooth. I was surprised a little. But I don't like snakes, lizards, worms and other spineless slimy creatures. I do not see them even in films.

When I unlocked anaconda, I just bought 1 pen then and put them in top most and placed trees all around, so that I won't see the snake graphics. Now I have 4 pens. Now I put them out, only if necessity arises. I do not want to waste my chickens and rabbits and also my mill. Like you have all said, if the feed ingredients change, let's see.

    Sorry to hear that.
But what snake was it that made you so adventurous ?

Great, someone like me.:D But I used only one pen and trees were for hiding it. COuldn't stand the sight. ;)
