Thank you woody, I am trying. I'm thinking maybe I will go to sending a igm every other day, I know I'll lose points but I remember reading here someone mentioned igm everyday may become annoying to the chick. We'll see I guess.
Congratulations Clashstrummer! How long did you care for your chick ?
sorry to hear about your chicks tcrooster, I am sure you did your best for them.
so great spotsbox! Happy for you :)

I have trouble remembering what tip of the day I have sent already to existing chicks. If they all came in at the same time or were on the same level, a general one could be sent but I worry I may repeat myself in sending info. I was doing it daily but have extended it to every other day or 3rd day since there is little to no communication. Slow level ups don't bother me, but I don't know if what I tell my chicks is helpful or bothersome, so it is hard to know sometimes what to tell them with no feedback. I will still keep trying though....I really do want to be a good mentor.

I normally do that too but have forgotten lately so have tripped myself up. Just need to spend a little time in the Outbox to see what I have sent.....

I forget tips, too, but I am thinking that if I basically send the same one when they first come on, then one or two at the beginning of events (about selling whatever is high right then, or to encourage them to participate, etc) and then to just rotate a few. I figure if I run through all the tips and the person is not answering, is not moving up or anything, then maybe its time to move on.

My chick asked a question ! :) They wanted to know how to get neighbors, they are at level 13 now. I've sent them a neighbor message and one about the green meadow, will see if they posted in the neighbor thread, if I can recognize their name .. I have been coping old messages a wonderfully nice mentor once sent and will add my own to them. Have sent level up congrats and a pantry item too. Do all the newly made mentors accept 3 chicks at once ? I have only the one for now. I know you receive more points from more chicks but I wanted to see if I could actually help this one before undertaking 2 more should they appear..

I am fairly new to the game, and I am wondering if there are any "bonus codes" ? Where do you get them or where do they come from?

Thank You - have a great farming day

Hi aprilcrawford, Welcome to the farm. We don't have any active bonus codes right now. We do get a few, they will be announced > here < or in the News Board that pops up on your farm when you open it.
Hope you enjoy your farm :)

Has anybody done a quick assessment on this event for newbies (as in "is it worth it"?)?

They can read get read-only access to the forum by following a link. I don't know if they can post, though.

    Hi everyone,
I need some advice, My chick has only sent one message to me asking about neighbors, how to get them. I explained about the forum and the neighbor request thread. I do not see a post by them ,have sent a few neighbors in there direction and have asked if they were able to find the forum but have received nothing but blank messages back so not sure what to do. Have any of you experienced this? After reading the posts above I am wondering if this might be the case for them, How would I know if they are logging in through another portal besides BP's? Should I go ahead and post a message on their behalf asking for neighbors for them ? They are now level 17.
Any help would be appreciated, Thanks

The blank messages back, twinkle, they might be typing at the bottom of the message instead of the top - that's what one of mine was doing. I wouldn't post in neighbours on their behalf (not sure if that's allowed).

twinkle - I believe it is allowed. I've done it in the past. Also...your chicks can ask the other chicks in your roost to be their neighbors. Since most of them all need neighbors...this will work out great. Also, by having other newbie neighbors, they can share, help or commiserate on leveling and what is needed.

p.s. be sure to look in the subject line....that may be the whole message from your chick.

Twinkle you can post for them if they give you permission to do so. I checked on this as it was the first question I got asked. Even if they are 3rd party players you can give them the link to view the forum and they can send requests to other players that post there.

One other player advised me that they told their chicks to write down players names from the market and send requests to them. Seemed very random to me and your far less likely to get a neighbor you can communicate with but if your really in need it could work.

I got a new chick today and I'm really hoping they stick around. Their user name is 8675309$$. LOL I want to send them a message and ask if I can call them Jenny. xD (disclaimer: if you were born after the 80's you probably have no idea why that would be funny)

:music: Jenny I got your number . . . :music:

I saw that recently on a show that used that number as a tracking number on a package, everyone thought it was bogus. xD It was real. xD xD

    Thanks everyone,
TCRooster- I checked & double checked the messages I received, didn't find any other writing included.
Brookeham- I think I have run across a few posts in the neighbor request thread where others asked on another players behalf. I do not have their permission as Clashstrummer mentioned so that I guess is not an option right now.
I haven't taken in any more chicks yet , I can see where that would be beneficial for the other chicks, thanks I will send a message with the link Noelle20001 provided and a few words.
Clashstrummer I recognized that number because at one point in time my mom wouldn't stop singing that song.. hehehe

You can always copy down the names of players wanting neighbors and send that to your chick(s).
