Gift and Trade

I would like to be able to trade an item for two or more different items. Currently you can trade 1 item for 2 items but the 2 items have to be the same (i.e: 1 Baobab for 2 Tamarind). I would like to be able to trade an item for two or more different items
(i.e.: 1 Otter for 1 Juniper and 1 Swan or 1 Black Willow and 1 Juniper).

My goal is to eventually complete all Cloud Rows.

I did not get any of the items for the Green Week Magic Stalk:
Smogsucker
Farm Protesters
Paolo, the Vegan Master Chef
Borsty, the Dirty Factory Owner
"Green" car
"Whoooosh" wind whirligig

I would like to be able to trade an EP Giver (high point value) for more than one item from the list above (they are low point values -- the entire row is worth 6750 points).

 

That's a good idea, nlm. I often see items I'd be willing to trade one of what they want, but not 2 or more (say 1 swan for 3 armadillo). I'd be much more willing to consider it if I could give, say an armadillo, an orange owl, and a yellow trumpet tree (examples only). It would also be awesome if they'd let us trade the party spin items (flowers, scarecrows, birdstones) so we can help others as well as get the ones we need and maybe don't have the spins to keep trying for.

 

I agree that more flexibility in what we can trade is good. It is one reason why it is a good idea when the mods open the Wish List thread that you can post what you have to offer for trade for the items you want. Many of my trades were done with other farmers via IGM. Only few times did a farmer promise to send an item and then not send it, but overall, it has been successful.

That is a great idea nlm!!
I would also like to suggest that mentors be able to gift to chicks at a reduced use of our tickets. The newest players(chickadees) could use a lot of everything...including XL trees or dairies(which most of us don't use) or even yellow pens. Maybe mentors could receive 5-10 free gift tickets per chick during G & T!!!!

It would be nice to be able to include all items in a Cloud Row in a trade.

For Example: Milkshake Fountain, Ice Cream Cannon and Ice Cream Freeze for 3 Otters.

 

I think it would be nice if all players could gift those under level 40 at a reduced rate. To limit abuse, maybe each person could only donate a set number -- maybe 2 or even something like 5.

Your best bet is to post in the wish list. That does mean using gift licenses and trusting the person with whom you are trading, but it seems to work.
