Thanks, Mooboy, we appreciate your work!

I think I would be looking forward to the challenge if there were fewer events with more space inbetween. Between work and trying to have a little fun here, this is becoming more like work all the time.

Can't believe I get to rip my fields up again ... o_O:cry:xD

Now they are literally throwing golden bananas after us! xDxD

(Is that an expression in English? If you really want someone to take something you "throw it after them"?)

Thank you so much Mooboy for doing the Maths ... hopefully I have successfully managed to calculate an average daily requirement for the Paper Strip drops! :music:

Here is the link for the SOS thread just created (after a working morning so please let me know if there are any errors! :p):

SOS Carnival Queen Event Drop Items/Paper Strips

    Good Luck Everybody! ;)

Edit: I haven't included Candy Baskets ... they are for the Mini-Game so didn't think they would be as much in demand as the Paper Strips but by all means, if you need them, post in the SOS thread. :D

    Summary:
First we need to grow 15,000 crops to open the mini game.
Once we got that done, we'll desire a bunch of baskets to play the mini game with.

My strategy will be simple. Using Carrot-Apple Chutney buff, I'll start with 10 1x1 fields for the initial crops and will add water, manure, SG and SSG (without other buffs or CCR goodies the harvest = 60 crops). I'll repeat the nuke untill I have enough crops to plant on 4 fields. From there on I'll aim for 15,000 crops in total.

Prior to en during the entire event, one field will be filled with long running workshops (24 hrs+) and some 24 hrs trees.
For as long as I'm growing event crops to fill 4 fields with, the remaining space will be filled with pens, trees and long running other crops (9 hrs+)

Other prepares are as usual: make sure long running crops, pens, trees and workshops do end and are harvested AFTER the start of the event. This will give you a headstart on the number of baskets.

    Have fun & keep smiling!

habalala, You might want to rethink how to start your initial seeds. I think you get further ahead using 2x2 plots to start (9) but it's really whatever you prefer. Awwww Nellie, so sad to hear you say that even before the event starts

    Thanks for the numbers!

I was concerned about the baskets cause I only have until Saturday morning.
But looking at the game, I think with less than 35 baskets I can make the 2500 candy points.
Most of them will be neighbors gifts.

Thanks for all the numbers :) I've come down with the flu :wuerg: and can't seem to make heads or tails of this one :p I think it must be the fever, I have a fuzzy brain today :D.
Had just reset my farm last night :sleepy: Oh well I'll set up one field with pinks and workshops for the baskets and the rest will grow event crops.
Good luck everyone and catch lots of candy :)

I will plant Turkish Melissa over night. That is the only plant with the paint refinement that I have.
There are a bunch of shorter plants that have it, like Gerbera, Canola or Oyster Mushrooms. That could help out for today.

Thanks for the tip Julie. I agree starting with 2x2 fields gives you more harvest from the inital crops.

Somehow I seem to like the harvest of 60 crops from the initial seeds, no clue why, then I create a full 2x2 field for the second harvest.

    Julie1013 is Correct....habalala

When it Comes to Nuking Event Seedings it is always best to seed them into 2x2 Fields First. Using CAC, Water,Manure,Suzy Super Grow and Super Grow. You will get 90 Event Crops on First Harvest. I would suggest placing these again into 90 2x2 Fields. As I will Nuke them the Second Time. After the 2nd Harvest after 2nd Harvest will end up with 810 Event Crops. All Fields at this Stage remains as 1x1 Fields, until we have reached 15,0000 Amaranth Crops. ;)

Well, Mooboy stole my thunder! :p Was just about to write the same thing! I will have one main and one island field in stables to get baskets and everything else in refined carnations and ginger with my best trees for initial drops. After that, will be doing as Mooboy so well explained! Will go back to a field of stables when needed.

Best of luck to everyone!:) Hope you feel better soon JJenks, so sorry about that flu:cry:

To grow the 15,000 Amaranth I will be using all fields with the exception of the Rainforest. My calculations show that it will take 6.44 harvests using CAC to reach the goal/target.

Thank you Mooboy for the strategy
Printed it out and ready and waiting on my desk for tomorrow
Farms set out and ready ...and hopefully i won't go and harvest it all before the event :music:
And hope the drop fairy gives us all lots and lots of them ;)

Am wondering if we are going to need paint palettes to put the paint on with

During the event, this tool will have a special behaviour:
    From the FAQ [IMG]
It will be available from level 3, and you can use Paint (tools) from your inventory

Only other thing we have to use in painting is paint palettes

Do you think this means the paint palettes ?
Have put some out and have become Justine Case again LOL

Goes back and puts 2x2's out on the plantation to put her 10 Amaranth in ...I forgot them :wuerg:

Amaranth is a plant that yields lots of little fruits. The seeds of the amaranth are known as amaranth grain.
Amaranth grains are an excellent source of protein as well as dietary fibre and minerals like magnesium, iron, calcium and phosphorus. It has a subtle flavour, and is neither sweet or savoury, making it perfect for all kinds of cooking & baking. It is gluten free

    Have learnt something today

And It's very pretty ...hope we can keep it after the event

Thanks Mooboy for the strategy, it really helps!!! Now all I have to do is figure out the mix of trees, crops and stables to leave out overnight to get a good start. Easy right?:p

At least now I have some long term crops for overnight so that will help. My highest crop is Turkish Melissa but I'm thinking of going with roses. Let's me farm a little more today and will help with a stock to start looking at refinements. I've been reading here that they help but haven't ventured there yet.
