I see things from a different Perspective.... When it comes to doing Events. Yes it is quiet Tiring to do Events so close to each other.

At times it is a pain to Destroy your Farms to adapt your Farm so it is effective when it comes to events. To get certain drops, or grow event crops.

I understand such as Farmlily3. As one of those who struggle on Shortage of Drops. One of the Reasons is ill preparing your farm for such Events, Therefore ending up having poor amount of drops. Which puts more pressure to harvest your farm more frequently, or waiting longer to harvest your Farm to get back on Schedule to keep up with daily average of Drops per day during Events. This is very Reason why ILLY1996 put in Daily Average of Drop Requirements in here SOS Thread to help Farmers short on Drops.

It has always been essential to try to Upgrade Animals and Crops Trophies as soon as you Can and use them correctly when you not have living legend rune not yet unlocked.

But if any Farmer who is Tired of Doing Events as i do not blame them. But if a farmer a decide to Skip an Event would miss out on Event Rewards. Some of these rewards actually helps you complete quests or EVEN near future events. As i never miss an Event. I always Rip my Farm up for Event since i have very well stocked barn. As i always give Event an Priority always. As i Aim to do the Event in quickest and more effective way possible as i nearly always complete events early, Therefore i can go back to normal farming sooner due using a good Strategy to finish events Effectively. :)

I have Learned that there are Benefits to Make CC during normal Farming and During Events. The Advantage of having CC can help you buy Crops, Animals and Products etc so you are able to stock up your Barn to help cope with Events Easier. Which in itself put you at ease to grow things you are short on !! It is harder to do Events when you spend little time in the Markets, Looking for Bargains, Making CC or buying Fruits, Products or Certain Animals taking too long to Grow !! I always buy many things that are time consuming to produce in the Fields Grow things that are far more Productive ;)

In the last few months while we've had more frequent Events, there has also been a nice variety to the Event crop/drop requirements. :) One Event did not require drops to finish, another did not have an Event crop. ;) You could still do your regular farming while completing the Event. :D As long as BP varies the Event mechanism and Event crop/drop requirements more frequent Events can be done successfully. :music:
The FAQ for this Carnival Event feels late in being posted. With a new event starting so soon after the last one, the FAQ for an event posted 24 hrs before the event starts is really late for players trying to maximize yields / set up for events. :wuerg: Most farmers need 10-12 hrs or more to properly set up a farm for maximum drops to begin an event. :p So that 24 hrs is more like 12 hrs to pull/place/plant stables, workshops, trees & crops. :wuerg: FAQ's really needs to be posted at least 36 hrs (even better 48 hrs) before the event starts, especially when events are becoming more frequent. :music:

Could you please stop referring to other players choices as foolish? Nothing wrong with pointing out why you think your way is better, but everyone have their own reasons and should be respected. Calling their decisions foolish, lunacy etc. is not cool. And if that is not how you mean it, please write what you mean instead ok ;)

Mir85 i am simply saying that depending on Event FAQ. That not willing to Rip up Farms Based on FAQ Requirements. Or not willing to Rip up Farms to be able to get Decent amount of Event Drops on First Harvest. Will Make it Harder to be able to complete events, due to shortfall of Requirements in Event FAQ. I do respect others since i have made many postings to help Newbies

Dafofily, you are Quiet Rightly Said the sooner we get Event FAQ the Better we can prepare our Farms for this Event. It is quiet rare we get an FAQ at Least 36 Hours Prior to an Event. Some of Us have Super Trees, Super Stables or using Production Workshops. These needs to be at least 36 to 44 Hours before they are ready to be harvested in time for an Event as we do get events needing drops from Production Pens. Trees do take 20 Hours to grow only use of Suzi Turbo Mulch reduce it by 30% Sometimes we get relief that no drops are required during an Event it is also nice to have a break growing event crops too ;)

I was just referring to your choice of words, I am sure you can make your point without calling anyone foolish ok ;)

Edit: I see you changed it, thank you :)

I think we all appreciate when FAQs are posted early. I remember the days when FAQs came out only an hour or so before the event and sometimes they were published after an event started! Fortunately, this event doesn't require anything from our barns so preparation should be fairly standard. Good luck!

    8) Mooboy - I had plenty of drops - over 500 left over, in fact. Drops are not a problem....growing thousands and thousands of crops is a problem!!o_O
Sorry I did not make that clearer. I have corrected my previous post.:)
I do appreciate your trying to offer helpful information.
MIR has a point, too. Everyone's respectful opinions are welcome.:inlove:

As for my farm, it is level 95, very high-end, and can produce over a million+ CC's/day easily, depending on what I wish to sell. But because I have it structured this way, it would be slightly ruinous to tear it down all the time and then try to rebuild it...just so.
Every square inch is utilized to the full, and it would be nearly impossible to get it back exactly the same way.
And this is why I would rather miss an event that requires tooo many thousands of crops than to tear down something I've worked so hard to build in the first place.
Yes, I do like to do events...
But the fact remains - I like waking up to more million$ that have been generated overnight as I slept. And I like making my farm pretty, and productive, and would like it to stay that way for a while.

We ALL have our own styles and ways of playing this very fun game...and that's what is so FOCD about it, wouldn't you say?;)
    EDIT:
For Mooboy: Because of your encouragement, I decided to grow a few for this event. What a striking color they are!

I am at 30% in LL ...i have no trophy to change to different fields to get drops ...was taken away when i got to the level of 30%.....
This is where i am at in LL ......3661630/ 4915200
And the percentage of drops i have been getting in the last few events haven't been that brilliant for 30% ...in fact Pathetic is the word
Would finishing this quest make it any better ...i am starting to wonder ?

And if you look in the farm society and look at the the fresh coat quest ...that doesn't look like a palette to me or look in your barn under products and look at paint palette ...it looks like a Brush... tell me if i am wrong ...it is why i asked that question

Time for me to get some sleep

Good Luck everyone in the event

Awww Farmer Lily that is lovely ...i don't think i would want to take that down for events either ;)

BP doesn't SEND the faqs that early to the mods.... And not every (country)team gets it exactly on the same time either. [IMG] That's most definitely not the moderators' fault,.... BP is just....BP.
    SLOW.

Like PnP, I remember the days when we got the FAQ's when the events started. Getting them early now is a very welcome advantage. Special thanks to our mods who do the best they can with the information available to them!
I also tear up my farm, finish the event early then usually have 4 or 5 days to farm whatever I want. My barn is well stocked, most of FSQ's are done, lol, not extremely rich like some but CC balance is healthy. Because of this I love the events, it would get boring without them.

I can't help but thinking the candies should be beads. In Tampa Florida the third largest (but mostly unknown) parade in the US takes place around the end of January each year. Besides the main parade there are 2 other weekends of parades featuring the children's parade and the night parade. With hundreds of floats each parade is a carnival in itself and virtually every float and marching group throw out thousands of beads. So many beads that you'd have a stiff neck just wearing what you catch! Besides beads are non-fattening!

    8) Thank you, Nellie_Noodles....it is nice to know that others understand!:)
It is a dilemma each time we have another crop-growing Event....do I, or don't I destroy my farm.

What we need is more land, more land, more land, more land, more land, more land, more land, more land..........This is a recording, BP.....it just seems logical that if we're going to keep getting more and more Stuff, then we should get more and more land to put it on, yes??
