It looks like a wonderful event, but the one thing I keep hoping for is once more not there. No CC giver item to earn. And I don't mean one that earns 50cc, but one that is equivalent to the EP givers, like 2000cc.
I will skip the event this time.
The rewards otherwise look fine, it's just that I really really want CC items!
Love the design again though.


Ps: BP, we really need a third park.... I am OUT of space to put ANY new item on there. So what's the use of earning more of them if one can't place them anymore?

 

Another novel event with marvelous graphics, great prizes plus the chance to win more if we complete the whole event.

I only have one reservation - yet again we must organise our mills around the event requirements. Already we need to plan ahead for our animal feed and power feed and sometimes I have to cancel feed to compensate for my miscalculations. If we must mill items for an event, could we not have extra capacity in our mills? Or maybe, like the new MM field and breeding system, perhaps events should have their own mill.

I quite agreed Farmingfreebird ... I recently cleared my Park and Harbour, put out all the higher EP givers but I know that I will have stuff in my inventory that should be out in the fields ... but so much work to keep up with it all!

 

Ya know... when I burn up tons of my valuable SG and SSG to nuke event crops so that I can maybe finish an event then I AT LEAST expect a CR of some sort as a reward for all my hard work and all of the farm stress that the event causes. No amount of piddly little prizes and poor EP/BEP givers even comes close to compensating for the lack of a CR, especially for a 6 day event.

I have decided that from this point on... long drawn out events without a CR as a prize will no longer be worth my time, my effort or the upheaval of my farm. Come on, you can do better BP. Step it up. Turning off players from doing/completing events is bad for business

 

I think bp is scared we'll end up with 50.000 cloud rows...

although, now that we have a CR harvester.... they shouldn't be! But putting EP givers or CC givers on cloud rows, is often not that profitable. (at least not with CC givers! )

 

Not enough drops. Won't make it to the final game at all.

 

Love this event. And I for one am delighted that there is no cloud row. since I do not have the cloud row harvester, picking my way through 79 cloud rows is exhausting. Thank you for not making me have to choose whether or not to try for a row! The graphics are adorable, and the mechanism seems like it will be quite fun - I'm still building the floats but I look forward to trying my hand at the catching game!

 

Considering that (by the looks of the graphics) it is supposed to be a Bahama event I for one am disappointed at the fact there are no golden bananas to be earned . I am not bending over backwards to finish this event, only doing this to boost my PF, SG, SSG which by the way I have spent on the last BB and Piece of Cake event.

 

pickles, you can win golden bananas from the left side float 1 GB, middle float 2 GB and right float 1 GB.

Furthermore (from FAQ): Monkey Queen also throws special rewards you can collect: Amounts of EP, Baha-EP, CC, SuperGrow, PowerFeed, Suzy's Turbo Mulch, Suzy's Super Grow, Golden Bananas.

This Prizes you can win from Monkey Queen is Amazing as I am Amaze what you can win using 1 Candy Basket. I have never had so many Golden Bananas Thrown at me. I am also happy to gain so Many Super Grow, Suzy Super, Suzy Super Mulch and Power Feeds. Than I could from any previous Event.

I am Sure there will be lots of Good Comments put here Once Farmers have reached and played the Mini Game using Candy Baskets Huge Thanks to BP too

 

I like that you are offering variety, trying something new. I am finding the drops surprisingly hard to obtain, though. With only a couple of days left, I am still short the last 2 levels of the last float before I can begin getting candy, even with my trophies nearly full and 3 howie donuts. Although it sounds like we can get back any supergrow and so forth used, this does not help those of us without it to begin with. Seems those able to complete the event are scoring pretty big, while those of us not able are doing just so-so with rewards. I think that disparity is frustrating. If its frustrating to me as an established players, I can only imagine it must be more so for those just starting to do events.

EDIT: I must admit that I am sharing Mir's concern about all these golden bananas. The offering is such an extreme increase from any prior offering, it really does seem to devalue all our prior effort. Not only that, but new players coming on, having missed this bonus are going to be behind.. either that or these will continue to be offered and basically make GB not worth much at all. This is one of the main arguments for having stratification of levels. Baharama is an achievement as is the Artist's village, but I think we need something for even higher level players, but something that does not just dilute offerings for lower level players. Its fun to get tons of GB, but there is also that things which come too easily are not appreciated.

EDIT2: I am almost embarrassed to express this as a complaint, its really an embarrassment of riches, but while I like the game an all the prizes, it is taking me a long time to use up all the baskets. I have spent a couple of hours already and still have quite a few baskets left (50, but probably closer to 100 when I have harvested my pens again.)

 

This was a big surprise, never have we gotten so much great stuff from an event before I would have been super happy if not for all the GBs I assume you have a plan for them, but do you also have a plan for keeping me interested in leveling up on baha? I am now at level 301, so far I have gathered 135 GB from the parade, that's 27 level ups worth. To level up 27 times I now need 255M BEP, or in other words I almost need to double my total BEP. But if I can get GBs easily from an event, why make an effort? I still have 130 baskets left and two days to collect more, so I can only imagine the total GBs I'll end up with It seems unfair to those who couldn't participate in this event, or is this the new standard? So many questions!

A small comment: In the first part of the event I missed the popup window showing the rewards. More than once I clicked the decorate button without really looking at the rewards first and was left wondering. Of course I checked the FAQ, but we are used to seeing the rewards after. It would also have been nice to see which tools we got from the toolbox

 

Still working on the event but have received XXL Mate, Nectarine, Achaha and Amherstia.

Haven't harvested all Draco Pens because working for on crops but 1st one was an Orange Beehive.

Hoping I can make it to the Monkey Queen but drops seem to be coming slow. I know I can ask for help but I like to try and complete on my own and then ask for help if obvious I won't make it.

I like that there is no Cloud Row because it allows us to complete partially or not at all without losing out on something that repeatedly rewards the player (Cloud Rows).

Amarynth is so pretty wish we could keep it.

Con
15000 crops straight after an event requiring 19000 crops is a bit much.
Items that I can't put on a cloud row; like many long term players I have no room and nowhere to put them and since they are upgraded they will gather dust in my inventory.
In my excitement my basket freezes because I'm no longer anywhere near the basket and I can't see my arrow.

 

After finally making it to the parade, I understand now why everyone's been raving about it! It's innovative, fun, and generous, and I hope we see more of this type of mechanism in the future. I would concur with the statements saying drops were a bit difficult to come by; compared to the last few events, which gave lovely drop amounts, this one has been a bit on the stingy side, but I realize that seems to change from event to event. The only real complaint I can see (and it's not really a complaint, more of a "maybe you could revamp this next time") is that you can't see where your arrow is once you're on the parade board. Many of us tend to migrate towards the top of our screens without realizing it, which freezes the basket, which causes us to miss out on the goodies being tossed. If we could see our arrow it would be much better. All in all, a wonderful event that I would be glad to see a repeat of in the future. Thanks for the great rewards!

 

Not sure what to make of this one - I'm perfectly happy with the rewards for the first part, but I'm finding it so hard to get the paper strips (nearly 300 short with less than 2 days to go) that it seems unlikely I'll reach what appears to be the main event - and if others have a similar experience, I can imagine only a very small proportion of players actually getting to see that which (based on others' descriptions) would be a shame.

This is two in a row of events that I'm very short of drops. If the master plan is to get you to buy more then it worked last time, I was short 150. right now with two days to go, I'm 247 short of paper strips; I did all the things to procure them, high ep during the day when I was away etc...not sure if I'm liking these events where you spend money on every one just to finish. that game at the end of the tunnel? well I can't comment on it because I won't be playing it unless I spend 200 bb's to top up my supply and for that I need to spend $. Cute concept but they should be labelling these events hard and not medium so you'd take a different tack on whether you participate.
here...I say it again (for the 123rd time) drops are lousy, so set them easier please. playing hardball with drops frustrates me.

I did it. I bought paper strips...again. But once I got to the Carnival, I took no prisoners. What a surprise! all those GB's and powerfeed and...you know. At first I couldn't believe my eyes so I tucked into some RL money and bought candy baskets. What a crazy haul! I jumped 7 levels in Baha and got 187 GB's along with hundreds of the other stuff.
I trained in Renzo's 'whack a mole' for this.
This was a good game thank you.
