Carnival Queen Event Strategy

Finally got to the candy part! I can't say I'm very good at catching the goodies but I'll get lots of practice with the over 200 baskets!

 

Just 63 paper strips away from joining the parade!

 

OK Baw, I have had a wee play and what i suggest that you do is practise with your cursor going just left and right, eliminating up and down. Freezing occurs if your cursor goes off the top of the screen, and as you cannot see it when the basket is active, how will you know how to get back on the page.
So I suggest that you click on the carnival queen, and before you click on the basket, practise sliding your mouse left and right, and not up and down... as if you are moving the basket. there is no need to hold the button, just move the mouse.....

 

I sure would sign up. I think I am ready to dip a toe in really real marketing. <not just chickens and wheat growing and selling>
Big part of this is the market...... and .....................................math At least I can take a stab at one of them.

I did find something tried it a few times to make sure it was real. If you find yourself between two goodies falling at the same time just "this far away" of the two sides of he basket you can have your basket right between them looking like they will miss by a hair each and both will go in the basket.
Try at own risk. But I have been getting twofers every time it happens

 

Wow, finally got to the Carnival Queen and a super give away. Lots of PF and GB's!!!

 

Oh my goodness the Carnival Queen does not like me and I shall be trying to get the 2500 points until well past the game is over. I don't know what is wrong, but my basket doesn't want to move when i see lollipop and sometimes when i see it go in, I don't get the points for it.... grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. I shall keep trying when i get home from work tonight and hope.... I can do better. Good luck everyone and thank you for all your suggestions and kindness once again!

 

I could watch this parade all night! WAIT! I DID watch it all night!

Pleased to say that after over 225 candy baskets, I went from absolutely 0 SG to over 1000!

 

Just got the last needed paper strips! Time to party!

 

Still battling to get the Paper Strips. Hope the Baskets I have so far will be enough...

 

Don't think i am going to make it the end of this event ...have got another 63 paper strips to find and that isn't easy with the drops i am getting
BUT i did make it to the carnival

I didn't understand the 2500 part and still don't
Can someone tell me what it is for please ?

 

I have finished the left side of the float. Still working on finishing the last 2 chambers of the middle float and the last chamber of the right float. Need 210 more strips to finish will keep on pushing on to get to the parade.

 

Yippee! I'm on to the parade! Time to see how much I can catch!

 

Same with me tlcmom on those last two chambers! RL slowed me down a bit on farming, but hope to get to the party soon!

 

It took me exactly 40 times of flailing my basket around to reach the 2500. no worries

 

Finally I am done with the float and on to the parade!

Now let's help those who are still struggling to finish the float.

 

To complete the points parade, one needs around 40 baskets, maybe less. Anyone with over 60 baskets can easily concentrate in grabbing the other goodies instead of grabbing candy. Eventually, candy points will fall down in the basket without any effort.

I have already more than 120 GB plus leveling two times in Baha and 10 GB from finishing the event. Lots of PF, SG, SSG and TM, too!
Have finally opened EVERYTHING in baha, except the two last customers. And more than 300 GB to spend on everything that they'll throw to us from now on (new animals, new trees, new crops, new breeding, new chamber, new whatever and... the THING we don't dare to mention)
Waiting for around 100 baskets to be done today, hopefully!...

Congrats Arq! I agree, this event is awesome! You beat me to what I was going to say, which was, when you make it to the parade, don't worry about trying to catch the candy. Go for the good stuff, the PF, SG, SSG, EP/BEP; the candy will take care of itself. I got all the candy points here in less than 40 baskets, did it in 33 on bearbabe, so if you have more than 40 baskets, you'll be fine. Also, as was mentioned earlier, I believe by Mooboy, watch the monkey queen's hands. Sometimes she throws a lot at once, and you end up missing the good stuff because your eyes are going everywhere and your hand tends to follow your eyes. Watch for the items you want the most, and go for that. Usually other stuff follows the same trajectory, so you can catch a lot by focusing on one.

To those still working on the paper strips, if you have the refinements for roses, you can get what you need in 2-3 rounds using comfort fields, SG, H2O, manure, fruitcake, white innocence, and your flower cloud row if you have it (CR not necessary, just a nice little time boost). I got all the drops I was short of thanks to this tactic and the lovely farmers who sent me drop help yesterday. And the SG you use you'll get back with interest in the parade.

 

I finally got the last paper strips I needed this morning but somehow I goofed on the amaranth I will have the rest of those in about 30 minutes and onto collecting goodies With 188 baskets waiting to be filled I have no doubt I will be very happy Then maybe take it easy until next event 2 days after this ends Soooooo ready for a break

 

What helped me not to go off the track with the basked is having my hand (with the mouse) at the edge of my desk. If I have to lift my hand, I know I will go out of the fame.
I was not so lucky with catching with the basked in between the goodies. But it would be completely wrong to complain. Some GB found their way into it. So I am happy.

What ideas you put to action!!!! You have saved yourself from headache. My head is spinning now after doing around 80 to 90 baskets at a stretch.
