Holy prizes!!!!! I loved, loved, loved this event. This was amazing! The drop rate was a little slow, but I made it fine. This was a great way to reward all of your dedicated players that have been members for years. This definitely made up for the fishing event. I will be honest. It was almost too much haha. I was having a bit of overload from all of the great prizes.

I hear that the prizes were amazing for those reaching the Carnival Queen. I am alarmed by how many said they had to spend real $$$$$ in order to finish the floats to get to the Queen. I had a week of liberties that allowed me to harvest twice a day. I used all resources available to me...including trophies, CAC, SG and all other buffs AND help with paper strips (drops) from kind players outside of my neighbours and buddy list via SOS thread. After all that, I was not able to finish the float, thus not using even one of the 150 baskets from my inventory. I used the advise from the higher level / strategic players to no avail.
    I am super ______>:(>:(
this has happened too many times and I am fed up with wasting my time

Drop rates for paper strips were terrible and barely was able to decorate the floats in time, then rushing to get the prizes and use up the baskets on the parade, but the prizes were awesome. Thanks Monkey Queen for PF, CC, EP, Supergro, etc.

Very nice event, agree that it would be better if we still could see the cursor. And graphic wise, I thought the Queen could get a more friendly look, seemed a bit of a mean one now xD
To me this was the real birthday event! ;)

Got this Muppet show Mahna Mahna song in my head today..... only with a lil different text

    1) I overall enjoyed the structure of the event.
    2) The paper strip drop rate was low.
    3) The carnival float kept freezing. This is my biggest complaint. The float would go by, I would catch items, the timer would run out and the game would freeze. I would have to refresh the game and when I returned it appeared that my candy basket had been deducted but that my points had not been rewarded. This wasted my time. This meant I had to catch more stuff than required to actually finish the event.

I agree with the paper strip drop rate, I play all day and still had to buy 15 to finish in time. BUT, loved all the prizes and that you could play on after you finished the last level. I am so ready for the next breeding event :)
    Thanks for a fun event!

This was a great event and for the prizes was set up appropriatly - I hope you bring it back again!
Maybe as a Thanksgiving day parade or a 4th of July parade - we in America have several times that floats are used and goodies are thrown!
Only changes - yes to see the cursor would be nice so to keep it in playing field.

Looking at the mind blowing number of goods that I won during this event, I can absolutely agree that it was the best event ever. I can compare it maybe only to Oktoberfest 2011, but at that time I was not “rich” enough to take part in it till the very end. My hand ache, my mouse demand some holiday, but it was worth every minute of this fun. Not only the most precious super feed and golden bananas, but also EP and TEP that helped leveling up. I won’t mind to see such events much more often.

Looking at the event itself, I totally understand those who feel bad because they didn’t manage to reach the second part. For those who don’t have refined long growing plants and can’t use the advantage that they give, this event was in fact really difficult. Getting 15 000 event plants wasn’t that bad. It’s something that most of us got already used to in the past. But it was much harder to get the required number of paper stripes to decorate the float. In the past I also had some events that I was unable to finish because I didn’t have enough drop items so I know how frustrating it is. And those were traditional events, with traditional quests and not something with such awesome second part as we had this time. This might result in big disproportions between players in the future.

And finally looking to the future, I wonder how this event will affect the game, mostly Bahamarama. It’s wonderful to get so much super feed for the next breeding events – it might just affect the market for a while. Next breeding animals might be much cheaper to buy, as most players will have enough of super feed to breed and less will search for them on the market. But breeding events are so often, and the new breeding interface is so nice to use that any amount of SF will vanish sooner than we notice. It might just work as a whet ;).

But with hundreds of golden bananas thrown by the queen, I agree with those who say it a bit anxious. So often we read about the need of keeping the game well balanced, and giving so many GB just like that seems to stand in contradiction to this.
After the changes on Baha, the number of GB given to each players was carefully counted and reflected her/his previous achievements. GB were truly a “must have” for both old and new players. Many noticed that in fact for new players it was easier to find their path through the island, if only they plan they strategy carefully and choose what the really need and not just try unlock everything. But still, for many Baha was one of the challenges that most of us ask for in this game, and there are not too many of them lately. It was the kind of challenge were we need to carefully plan something and eagerly wait to achieve it, step by step and not just count on our luck (like in all the events based on randomness).
In the past almost everything in this game was such a challenge. Achieving things took time and a lot of work, that’s why it tasted so sweet to reach our goals. In many cases it made us so much bounded with the game. Now things that took longtime players months or even years can be easily achieved within a few weeks. The result of this is that many new players get bored in a short while and leave the game pretty fast, considering they already finished everything that was worth doing here. And Baha… well it was one of the things that still was a bit of a challenge that could keep new players here for longer and still give the advanced once something to do.

I wonder what will happen now. Will golden bananas become like stars that we collect and many have nothing to do with them, waiting that one day new interesting runes will appear and they will be useful again? Or will we get a chance to use them sooner than we think? But what then with those who didn’t had the chance to win so many of them?

P.S. I will also be grateful if next time we will see the cursor while moving the basket :)

I have really enjoyed this event. The whole idea worked, was different and was fun ! :inlove:
The prizes were worth the effort and the idea of growing crops for the first parts and then having a fun fairground type mini game, again with excellent prizes, was a great idea. Unusually I found the drop rate of the paper strips very poor - I have not had a drop rate problem before.
I think that the GB's as a prize was very nice to help many players level up.
The mini game could have been improved by showing where the curser was on the basket while playing - I found the touch screen tablette easier to use for this part but not all players will have one.
This gets the thumbs up from me but don't use this new formula too often and spoil it.

Interesting concept! Nice event but one with some flaws. Above my fellow farmer muscaricat had described so well the flaws I meant so I can only second what was said. But I was happy with the golden bananas that were thrown at us:D.

I thought the Paper strip drops were a bit on the stingy side >:(and had to nuke some Roses with SSG to get to the Monkey Queen parade. The prizes were unbelievable and generous. :D
I too had problems with the pointer getting hung up with my mouse on my main computer and touch pad on the chromebook and never chanced it with my Android. >:(

Loved the event and very pleased with the great prizes offered! Nice awards were available for those who could not make it to the monkey queen and parade.

Add me to those who had mouse issues with the pointer; that needs some tweaking for a return of this mechanism.

A very nice, crowd pleasing event that was well worth the time invested to play! It created a great deal of excitement in the community, with people eager to play - which hasn't been the case in so many events. Would enjoy a repeat of this event in the future.:)

Like most I thought it was a little scary in the beginning. The basket rates seemed "low" and I worried that I would not make it to the Carnival Queen after growing a ridiculous amount of crops. But once I got there I had more than enough. I am overjoyed and overstocked with all the essentials. Thank you Farmerama team for an absolutely fabulous Carnival. It made me long for the streets of New Orleans.:inlove:

:D Wow, what an event. I will gladly welcome back the Carnival Queen if she should want to return. The generosity of BP was really appreciated :inlove: Thank you soooo much for all the fun. I did overeat though, those bananas were perfectly ripened and all those lovely goodies were scrummy :)

Loved this event. I rank it in my top 5 events. Great prizes but you did have to work hard to get them.

I was going to skip this event as it looked sort of complicated & my RL is very busy at present but thanks to Mooboy's (& others) strategy post I figured it out. Soooo glad I didn't as it was a great event. Such a generous Monkey Queen, she certainly made all the early hard work worth it. So a big Thank You from me BP. My only regret was I didn't get to use all my baskets on my other farm (stupid RL).

Best one Yet!!!! I loved this event. I almost didn't make it to the queen despite lots of help from neighbors and the SOS gang. With 4 hours left I broke down and bought a small basket to mill the last three paper maches and it was so worth it.

Did I mention I loved, loved, loved this event.:inlove::inlove::inlove:

I didn't like this event. If I want to play an arcade game I can go find better ones on the Internet. Yeah, the rewards were great, but I feel like that was appropriate given how hard I had to work for them. With the low drop rate (should have rated the event "hard" just for that!) and the rush to catch candies at the end it just wasn't fun for me. If I take that into account, I don't feel like the rewards were generous. But I also really don't like the Farmerama arcade games. For one thing, it's not why I play this style of game. But more frustratingly, there are so many really well done parts of the game and opportunities for extension in the areas that make Farmerama unique that I think it's a shame to see the developers spending their time on these rather than the things they are so good at.
