Labor of Love Event Strategy

You will get 10 Heart's Bloom seeds at the start of the event. These can be planted on all fields except MM. To quickly propagate this 5 hour plant, start with 2x2s. If you run Carrot Apple Chutney, White Innocence, Fruit Cake, and any CR that speeds up Super Grow and then "nuke" your seeds with Super Grow, Suzy's Super Grow, water and manure, you will get 90 seeds in short order (about an hour I suspect). Use those 90 seeds again on 2x2s (lather, rinse, repeat, lol). If using the same buffs you will now have 450 seeds which now exceeds the number of 2x2 plots you can place on all fields. Now is the time to switch to 1x1s if you can (CAC and harvester recommended, SG not recommended on 1x1s unless you have unlimited supplies). Other options are to continue with 2x2s and SG or Comfort fields if you have to be away from your farm.

Drops will come from ALL harvested items: Crops, animal pens, workshops and trees.

As Mir has stated, this is a progressive event. (Confirmed by Shooger.Sweet) Think of it as Milestones on the journey. The first 10 Love Letters gets you the sticker. Add 20 more Love Letters (getting you to milestone 30) and you get 5 Party Spins. Add another 15 Lover Letters (milestone 45) and you get Sealed With A Lick (deco item). In addition, each of the 45 Love Letters "fed" to the cat will get you one of the random prizes listed in the FAQs. NOTE: You can "win" Floral gifts and Delicious gifts from feeding the cat!

For feeding Delicious gifts to the Red Panda, the first 20 get you 60 Super Grow. The next 40 (milestone 60) gets you Kitchen Hero (deco item) and the last 20 gets you the Cloud Row (milestone 80). In addition, each of the 80 Delicious gifts fed to the Red Panda will get you one of the random prizes listed in the FAQs.

For feeding Floral gifts to the goat, the first 15 gets you 2 Libra Wonder Stables, the next 30 (milestone 45) gets you 40 Power Feed and the last 20 (milestone 65) gets you Perfect Posy (deco item). In addition, each of the 65 Floral gifts fed to the goat will get you one of the random prizes listed in the FAQs.

Additional info from Mir:

Luscious bouquets are only needed to mill floral gifts, one per gift, so you'll need 65 of them. Similarly, one Heart Shaped Cake per delicious gift, so 80 of those.

Also note that 4 letters are needed for each floral gift and each delicious gift, so although you only need 45 letters for the cat, you'll need
45 + 65*4 + 80*4 = 625
letters in total.

With that many drops required, most likely the programmers have set it up where we would receive a lot of Heart Cake Tins as we harvest.
Did you see that two of the Milled items can be sold on the market? Heart shaped Cake and Luscious Bouquet. This is new and should make the event more interesting.

 

The total gifts needed are 45 love letters, 80 delicious gifts and 65 floral gifts. The tables in the FAQ shows after how many gifts you get the rewards. We are not supposed to sum up the numbers in the tables. That is how all the other events of this form have been presented

 

Yes, Mir, you are right! (I am so relieved.) I will replace my figures with yours!

 

The number of cake tins is still very high though

 

I will wait to see what the first harvest drops but I suspect my daily gifts will be cake tins!

 

And a 5 hour crop...which generally means not a lot of drops

 

I have read it, and then again. Came here praying one of the math guru's worked it out, 12ss12 thank-you for all the events you out lined for ones like me, as my hart recovery team is now picking it off the floor, Thank-you Mir for being one of many guru's we can fall and know you's will kick a pillow over!

I am going to take a stab at it...... don't know about it, as all my goodies gotten by the monkey goddess are ear marked for MM. Off to plant a flower I haven't gotten to flower stockpiling yet.....

Hello, How did you come up with your figure for the Heart Cake Tins? The faqs are a little confusing.

I came up with the same # as the original poster for the Tins, am I missing some information?
We need 160 Delicious Gifts
Each requires 4 Heart Shaped Cakes
Each Heart Shaped Cake need 8 Heart Cake Tins

160 x 4 x 8 = 5120 Heart Cake Tins

 

The thing is that we only need 80 delicious gifts, see what I wrote here

 

Level One needs 20 gifts, Level 2 needs 60, Level 3 needs 80. A total of 160. Someone from the game will probably need to answer this and clarify.

The number are accumalative. Level 1 you give 20 then level 2 will be 40 more to make a total of 60 & finally level 3 will be an additional 20 to make a grand total of 80. I was also confused when I first read it.

 

I really hope there are some typos - that's a lot of drops!

Don't forget to check out store prices before paying too much for your crops/flowers. You can buy 100 a day so you have a few days to collect towards the necessary number. For those wanting to make a few CCs, you can buy 100 and sell them for a profit!
