Labor of Love Event Strategy

A couple of figures were transposed on the FAQs, how does this affect the drop requirements (sorry I really can't work it out!).

IMHO the best reward in this event is the Cloud Row and it's givers.
Strategy wise there are two options to this.

1st Option: forfill all 3 quests.

2nd option: only aim for the CR in quest #2 and keep feeding the three characters which appear on your field. Each feed of them will give you a small chance to get a giver needed for the CR.

 

The Faqs. should state whether or not the totals are cumulative. I have seen events where they have been either way, each level requirements and cumulative. I have posted a question for BP to clarify.

Oh NO! I've just planted a 15hr crop before noticing there is an event to come 21hrs from now...

 

Hi Noelle, here are the new numbers I got after the update

20,000 Heart's Bloom (event crop)
1250 Love Poems (drop)
650 Ribbon (drop)
640 Heart Cake tin (drop)
80 Eggs
400 Oat
400 Strawberry
325 Gerbera
325 Orchid
325 Sunflower

 

YAY for the far more reasonable requirements! These seem fair for a regular event like this one.

 

Many thanks Mir and Noelle and everybody here for doing the hard work for us! I too am very glad about the change of drop requirements but not so sure about the crop numbers ...

 

Oh no Bhodho, habalala, you do realize that it's 2540 drops we need and 20,000 crops. I wasn't planning on ripping my trees up but think that's going to have to change. I def don't want any more fields bc next thing you know we will have to grow 25,000 or 30,000 crops. Fingers and toes crossed that the drops are plentiful

 

Hi julie the drops are independent of each other, meaning it is possible to get a poem, tin and a ribbon all from the same plot. So it is quite different from needing 2540 of one drop item

 

Thanks Noelle and Mir for straightening out the confusion. Here we go again another big event. I have to miss most of tomorrow so will get a late start. 20,000 of a 5 hr crop seems like the numbers are going up each time.
I'm going to continue growing mice and try to time my refined carnations for when I know I will be able to start the event.

Nice summary, thank you! One thing.. I don't see where you mention that drops come from everything (all stalls, all fields). You might add that.

 

Thanks for all the calculating. It is just beyond me today. I don't feel up to starting the event but I am going to try to get back to my farming routine. I still have out all fields in trees. It was the best option to leave it that way while at the hospital. And with premium membership o La La when I harvested. My strategy....take a nap, leave my trees so no hard thinking today, and hope for the best.

Oh Noooooooooo! My baby farm now must write all the neighbors and say "Please Please Please No Event Gifts." The farm only works Baha and the Rain Forest. All that ep from the exchange will cause problems with leveling up from the ep. Too many events like this will get it thrown out of the nest and Mentor Brookeham is the best.


broke farm passes ..... no way will even begin growing gazillions of junks. Nothing desired from the event and will stick to plan.

I'd love to be able to say I'm going to sit this one out and mean it. I know I won't be able to but man I'm still tired from the parade plus I really need to grow some mice. I'm thinking I might only use two fields for growing junks for this one and just see where that gets me. I might feel more motivated once the event starts but for now I will just set up for drops and hope for the best.

 

I am sitting this one out for sure...20K event crops! only a day after the monkey lady kept me awake for almost a night

But I will be delivering poo for you all and eggs and whatever...you name it and I set the price

 

I been planting........Oh well, 3 hours of I didn't need that to finish, plant what 12 hour crops and I can go to bed.

This event will not be one of my better ones, bad start we will see if I can finish.

really 2nd farm is only for the strong of mind. I am so out of my league.
