But it really challenges my FOCD What am I going to do now? I planed on selling poo to everybody and did no setup
Wow! I think I need to admit to the Broke something hospital (I don't recall what it was called) or maybe it closed down...it didn't really cure anybody did it?
Hmm I will go harvest my mice and chickens and not come back to this thread until tomorrow - Maybe I feel stronger by then.

Pfft.. I Should Have Known Better to start another event that looked to be another Hard Day's Night. If I Fell into another bout of FOCD that kept me up till all hours I'm sure there would be an intervention with my family telling me You Can't Do That.

I must be having a brain freeze but what are the heart shaped cakes and luscious bouquets used for??

 

luscious bouquets are used for milling floral gift and heart shaped cakes are used for milling delicious gift.

NOTE: Anybody with limited resource, donate the love notes FIRST! You get both cakes and bouquets as prizes (along with other items, randomly given), so that might make the difference if you are close!

I was answering and writing igms and I get a message which included:

.... I'm cooking and I'm trying to harvest on time .... you have to wait.........

Well I guess I know what's more important.

wow, a backseat to harvesting on time!

How can this be? Everyone is leveling up and I'm reaching a new low.

 

Definitely, cats must be treated first, and initial milling could -and, maybe, should- be limited to Love Letters: the Delicious and Floral Gifts they yield as a payback, pretty frequently so far for me, will significantly reduce the event's drops needs and/or increase the opportunities you can allow yourself to treat the goats and the red pandas (that yield juicier paybacks).

 

I wish I had enough guts or a second farm to experiment with on this one. I would love to only make the love letters for the cats and sell luscious bouquets and heart-shaped cakes and just see if I could finish the event that way. Sadly I don't have either so will just go along with the more traditional method on this.

I'm hoping one of you more adventurous farmers with multiple farms gives it a try though.

 

What I can tell is that, so far, after having exclusively milled Love Letters and treated the cats in full (45 treats, 100% of the requirement), 6% of the treats needed for both goats and red pandas are already in barn, without having milled not even one of them. If that rate were kept, it means another 16 sets (15,7, to be exact) of 45 treated cats would be needed to finish the event in full --> 16*45*2=1440 Love Poems needed + 16*45*32=23040 event's crops needed.

Given these numbers, I gather it's not a convenient way, but a mix won't harm, probably somewhere in the middle (rule of thumb). So, I'll try mixing: one required mill for both goats or red pandas and one of Love Letters. I'll see how it goes for a day or so and I'll adjust in accordance.

I've finally just started the event trying to play catch up. My FOCD will not let me pass on this one (Come on Meba, you know you want to join in ) but now will have to miss farming time over the weekend too. Looks like I will be farming at night. Thanks for all the tips in this thread and great friends/neighbors sending drops I'm sure I can do it.

My milling subscription just ran out Keep looking for that offer to pop up I have no idea how I'm doing on the drops. Have to believe that I will get them....ribbon is the least that I've collected and I'm thinking we need twice as many letters daily than the ribbons or tins. On babysitting duties for a couple of days (staying at daughters house) so I'm just growing crops and collecting drops till tomorrow evening when I can be at home by myself to think without getting sidetracked Not that I mind, time spent with family is precious so I take it when I can Good luck to everyone and may you have fun with this. A question though, why is there a reference to a "red panda" when it looks like a fox??
