Are the gifts required cumulative or total for each step? Faqs. need to be updated stating which. I like the feature of selling products from the event on the market.

    Thanks

From the outset, I like being able to buy the products in the market. Time will tell how it "plays out", but its nice to try such new things out, even if they don't work (and here's hoping it works well).
As usual, graphics, etc are nice.

    EDIT:
I had my doubts at first. Initially, the price was way too low, then it spiked. Now it is back down to what it most likely a "reasonable" (market-based) price. I like the fact that this allows newer players to truly participate without just buying BBs. They can grow the event crop, donate to the cats and buy the bouquets/cakes to donate to the other animals. In truth, not many newbies will likely do this (if the experience of mentors posting in the forums is representative), but it is nice that the option exists for those who are interested.

I do wonder why all the other "common" to all animal rewards increase from the cat level except the Turbo Mulch. All three animals, when "winning" Turbo Mulch reward only one. Since no Happy Tree Day is offered anymore, this "reward" is more of an insult for the extra work put in to feeding the goats and pandas. Really, how much trouble would it have been to have offered 2 Turbo Mulch on the goats and pandas.

After doing most of this event, I am ready to fully comment.

As usual, the graphics are nice. However, this event, like the past few are just taking too much time to get rewards. The mechanism was fun the first few times it was presented. Even repeated 1-2 times a year, it would be fun. After the 3rd or 4th repetition, its no longer exciting or new to those of us who have played before. The rewards are generally high, though I do share Sweet Cassiopeia's consternation over the mulch. Like many, I only use the mulch for my jumbo tree and sometimes the most recent wonder seedling.
Still, its something extra, like every event item...

...except, it is looking more and more like you are offering lots of Baha EP (or TEP, as it apparently is now), in preparation for a huge need.

I started here because it was a casual, easy game. Put in the time, and anyone could get the basic rewards. Folks who wanted could spend real money for "shortcuts", but anyone could level up, finish the quests, etc. in time. Events were occasional and sometimes time-consuming, but fun. Then, fFor some reason, you decided it needed to be more "exciting", except, well.. if I really want excitement, I will play a game that is exciting, not a "slow build" like this. The event items seem nice, but its becoming apparent that they are not so much nice extras as requirements if we want to keep going in this game.

A lot of us longer time players, forum posters and the like are just deciding not to participate in the events. But, it turns out that the events are about the only thing really left for many of us to achieve. Level 96 offers the last reward. We still have farmer quests, but the rewards for those are really not worth the rewards. Maybe once they were, but not compared to any event. However, they don't take the real time investment that current events take. Now events are just taking too much time. So, basically, we either go without any of the fun rewards or spend lots of time on the game. Many older players are saying they are not happy. We may stick around a while, for various reasons, but not for long. You have made it clear you are going to keep up with the pace of events. It seems like you are intent on making the events more time-consuming as well. I hope its paying off with others, because it won't be for me.

Woody, I Agree with your Posting Regards to Veteran Farmers Playing Events. What is the Point increasing amount of Drops During an Event. Which makes it more Repetitive Doing The Event which actually Takes Fun out of Doing an Event.

We did posted Suggestions in Old Forum to Reduce amount of Drops during an Event. Then they did reduce amount of Drops Required for an Event. To Making even fairer for Newbies Farmers to have better chance to complete Events.

I am at Level 97 there is no point really to go Beyond Level 96 as the is nothing New to Unlock, Any EP I gain or get rewarded is worse reward to me as it does not benefit me at all.

One thing for Certain to why Goat Rewards is more Mean Rewards compared to Red Panda Rewards as Floral Gifts is more costly and Harder to Mill than Delicious Gifts, but offering less Generous Rewards. Where is Logic in THAT ? The Whole Idea of Feedback is to Learn from Mistakes and do upmost best to keep us Happy and give us lots of Fun in the Game.

It is getting more Time Consuming to Complete Events and Farmer Society Quests due to Increase in Prices in Markets on Crops, Feeds, Animals, Breeding Animals, Fruits. I really do feel sorry for Newbies plus for Veteran too who do not have lots of time to play this game. As they can only do what they can. Get Drops When they can log into the game, with what time they can spare. It is getting very Expensive and Ridiculous to Level up Animal and Crop Trophy These Days on current market prices. Couple years ago it was relative easy and Cheap to Level up Animal and Crop Trophy. If you add Fuel to the Fire to demand so many drops, putting pressure to Rely on these Trophies to get good drops so farmers have a reasonable chance to do well in Events. The last thing Farmerama would want to hear that Farmers making choices or Debating Skipping Events which they be able to complete.

I am doing this Event Solely their is nothing else to do on my Farm, Plus some rewards helps me complete quests and Make some CC. Which gives us Fun to Buy nice things in the Markets that is not in BB Currency !! For last couple of years i add a Fun Feature into an Event to help me make CC out of it Not Gaining EP.

This Event FAQ is quiet Confusing to some of us. In My Experience this is one of most confusing to date as you need to keep the Concept as simple as possible. That is easier to understand the Objectives as it would be nice to try make it more playable and Fun. Farmerama also need to bear in Mind Many Farmers have more that one farm. If One Farm is going to be more time consuming that it is be coming likely to unable to attend other farms to complete with Events !!

Jumbo Trees is Huge Help to Get Good Drops Prior to Events Starting. Since Transatlantic Express will not be coming Back. Farmers who do not have Jumbo Trees will find these kinds of Events to hard to complete due to not able to ample amount of Drops !!

I will wait and see what kind of Prizes i get during this Event

Tooo many crops to grow is making this event extremely boring.... NOTHING exciting about it ...if it wasn't for the cloud row ..I wouldn't be doing it

And for ALL the crops milled into gifts to give the animals ...some of the rewards given by them is pathetic ..for the time and effort put into the event

Great Graphics ...but that doesn't make the game FUN ....this event isn't... it's become a chore

And getting rid of the freezing in the game ...would be helpful in the event

And i agree with everything mooboy has written ...i am at level 92... another 4 levels and without events ... not much will be left to do in this game ... would basically have done it all :(

I like the mechanism of the event, but I'd like it to be FASTER in changing when giving a gift to a character.
I like the ability to buy part of the needed items in the market. Very helpful for me!
I dislike the time it takes to grow the Event crop.

after the birthday goodie shower, .....this event feels a little ...empty. But I guess that was to be expected.

All in all I think this is an ok event. As someone already mentioned I think this event mechanic has been used too many times during the last year (this is the 5th time I think), it is more fun if it doesn't come so often. Also the timing is a bit unfortunate, the carnival queen was so generous that it is hard to get excited about the gifts from the little animals.

That being said I like the two new elements that were introduced:

First that the cat gives out the two other types of presents, that is a nice touch. I think the chance of getting those gifts are just right - high enough that it is a viable option to keep gifting the cat to get a large portion of the other gifts. But not so high that it would be the "obvious only choice".

Secondly event products in the market is very interesting, I hope we see more of that. I am however wondering who are the targeted buyers for the bouquets and cakes. It doesn't help those who struggle with drops or are just impatient to finish, because you still need the poem drop for the letters, and the poem drops are the hardest to get enough of. It is of course an option for new players who haven't reached the required levels to get the needed crops. But even if they have the cc to spend on those products they would do better spending it on something to gain EP, it is not that difficult to reach level 27, and then make the products themselves.

    Dislike:
Huge volume of crops needed after 2 previous events requiring equally huge amounts and all back to back.
    Huge number of drops.
Having to wait (but that's just me being impatient! *edit* I take it back, it's not impatience, it's just boring and I was glad to finish and see the back of this one at the end, sorry).

I mostly liked the event and liked that you could buy and sell event products on the market and that the cat gave gifts to help finish the goat and beaver parts.:):)
The event must have been difficult for those with limited time to play.:(
The graphics as usual were lovely and I got lots of good prizes.:)

Not finished yet, but close enough to know that I will finish shortly and feel ready to give feedback. I agree with the other posts, I really do like the changes made to the event type-specifically-character prize that can be used for another event character, and purchase of products on market (not used yet, but nice to have the option.) I think just poor chronological placement doomed the event and made it seem tedious and boring...a let down...anything coming off the Carnival Queen would be tough to enjoy...thinking maybe you should have rolled with the breeding event first :)

Decent event which everyone can finish in time. I have no complaints.

Guess, giving the rate it's granted, if the Turbo Mulch was replaced by a single BB all farmers would've had a blast at it.

I agree with a lot of the feedback here: too many crops and too much clicking for the gifts (one click on an animal and the word "gift" to confirm should be sufficient - no need to click again on the gift, sometimes two or three times, and and again the tick box) on the downside. :sleepy:

On the positive side, as said, the graphics are great, being able to buy the products in the market for those who cannot grow or who haven't got enough of the necessary crops is a welcome twist. :)

Personally, I did find the whole event just a little too complicated ... not sufficiently enough to stop me taking part but at times I had problems working out what I still needed - but that was more me than the actual event!

I still think that the Devs are working very hard to keep us entertained and sometimes it works (Carvival Queen) and sometimes it just misses for a lot of us. I appreciate all their efforts to try to come up with something new and exciting that pleases the majority of us. ;)
