Well thanks to you all and my kind neighbors sending me drops, I was able to finish the event last evening..... just using these last remaining hours of the game to get some added benny's. Good luck to everyone!

I have plenty of drops to finish thanks to all of my wonderful friends and neighbors. :inlove::inlove::music: I only need 2 more Floral gifts and I am growing the crops for them right now. I think I will grow some extra crops for more gifts since I have extra cakes and bouquets. I have actually been lucky enough to get some pretty good gifts, especially from the red panda. :):)

I looked at the SOS thread and there are still several people needing help if anyone has extra gifts.

Good question Julie I think you should feed the cat because the cat may give you feed for the other ones.

Thank you to all my kind neighbors and friends who have sent drops for this event. I have been offline the last couple of days but with your help, I will be able to finish the event....nothing extra but that's ok. I haven't had a chance to read anything on the forum but wanted to just let you all know how much I appreciate you thinking of me.

we have been busy redoing the front room of our house to make a bedroom for my mom. Deciding what to keep, donate, sell, cleaning, painting, moving furniture...thankfully my sisters came with their families and did a lot. It has taken 2 full days but the room is now all Mom's. I'm so glad that she lives close as it made going back and forth to her house to get her things so much faster.

Ok...not exactly strategy but didn't not able to write everyone individually. Thanks again! Big hugs to you all:)

Farm looks like junks have been growing around here.

Well...my strategy failed. The mice got in the way and I will not be able to finish this event.
I did, however; get 2 of the giver items so I am happy :)
Now with just over 2000 mice in the barn I'm sure the upcoming breeding event will pay off.
Congrats to all who finished the event.

Farmerbroke...how will you take a half billion ccs out of the market?
    Please explain your strategy. :)
( so I can do it too lol);)

Also, something tells me farmerbroke is not so broke lol

Phew - Illy has finished! Chevrefeuille has five more Delicious Gifts to make which, all being well and the wind in the right direction, I should be able to do on return from work this afternoon. I finish just before one, so it will be a tight finish but I have Roses and Lemongrass to harvest then and I should be able to get the necessary 40 (I hope I have this right) Love Poems quite easily. Then mill and donate gifts. As said, it will be a tight finish but, even if I don't finish, the Park and Harbour have plenty of space for those EP givers on that farm. :D

This is not a cry for help, please send Love Poems to those requesting them, I am going to be okay ... if I don't get caught up at work, catch heavy traffic, the internet is working okay, there's an R in the month ... :p

I am glad everyone gives me company in this. You don't know, how much your words have soothed me.

Still have to make one more delicious cake to finish and realised I am 2 heart's bloom short. So I have put out one 2x2 field with all essential ingredients and waiting patiently for it to grow.

Congrats to all those who have overcome this ordeal. You have got a strong heart by playing this valentine event. The event has served its purpose.

Yes, it all begins being quite funny. It seems impossible but I assure you it is not. This is not the thread for a detailed discussion of the strategy.

The final step of the strategy: Simply list. We must reach for it.

Very significant parts of the strategy:
    • Remember the lessons learned with lettuce and continue playing lettuce along the way
    • Always keep in mind the friendly yet important strategy battles held with both Mooboy and Aluntino long ago
    • Remember those who helped me by wanting to learn how (You helped already. After reading your post I list 100 million worth of stuff ...... nah, no breeding animal play period just yet, not this half billion)
    • Keep in mind the fun with everyone here
    • Try hard not to remember anything I regard as nonsense and poor methods ..... not now.
    • Stay away from igms and other farms which take away from this act. It's too late to turn back now.
    • Keep the execute button pushed ..... do do do do .... list list list list
    • stay clear of that artisan foolishness going on .... a big mess which spells lots of loss if not careful
    • and by all means I will not be growing any junks or crops
To play in this part of the game, all the spreadsheets and notes in the world will not assist if one does not know, and know thoroughly, the lessons learned with lettuce.

And you can get some ccs real easily. Just start clearing out all that junk in your barn. You can do it if you choose. You must begin, and begin with purpose somewhere though. Imagine what it is like to list in 30 - 40 different areas in the market. (Ask Meba the Mouse (meba091))

I just looked, okay so 10 million rolled in, 490 more to go, fine ...... but what sold? Again ...... list list list list list list list list

Oh yeah, need to produce something too. Who knows, it may be chickens which sit ready to be harvested for a week.

    @MARLYMAR

Thank you for your kind words. The days of going to exactly -0- ccs are gone for a while ...... But I think it can be worked out.

What shall a poor farmer like me plant...[IMG] .....corn....that too only half of a field. Rest is all evaded by mice.[IMG]
but since you suggested carrots, I will do one round of carrots. ;):DxD

Anybody got golden banana in this event ?

    @12ss12
I got a golden banana but I da know what to do with it or the others. Too many given away for nothing it seems. I see some unlocked some of the animals. The bad thing about it is the feed on most markets is priced higher than the animals themselves. In order to profit that individual producing such an animal must hold it untio prices catch up for the animal. May as well grow junks.

Maybe this will make sense. There is a thread about the peacock. One can review the chain, take blueberry out and replace with corn and take peacock out and replace with mouse and that's the mouse chain.

You produce the corn, say you mill the feed, and you produce the mouse. If the sell the mouse then you get all of the profits from the chain.

But say you buy the feed. A little different. What am I buying if I buy feed? I'm paying for:
    • someone growing the corn
    • the 10% to sell that corn (so BP's 10 %)
    • then the mill time
    • then the 10% on the feed
    • also someones profit on the corn and the feed any we haven't produced anything
So then we try and make a profit on someone elses 10% and growth and many actually get very little in the end fromn selling that mouse.

It's not explained in the thread, but essentially, the more of the chain one produces themselves, the more profit on that item one keeps.

An extreme case is the anaconda. There is a thread with the anaconda chain. Apply the above to it and one can easily see they can produce for nothing for a long long time. May as well grow junks.

I know it sounds crazy .... no need to say .... but it applies to every single animal produced. And it can flow all the way to a product or through the breeding animal chain.

I like your style especially if you're producing the corn and then milling the feed. You start that buying it and well... ummmmmmmm cya

Chevrefeuille finished! With 15 minutes to spare! Double Phew! All the what ifs were on my side ... though the Delicious gifts were really not worth the wait! But I have my CR and all that goes on it and a couple of EP givers spare so colour me happy ... and relieved it's over! xD

    Thank you, farmer_broke !

You have put it clearly. I read the peacock thread too. I make it a point not to buy feeds. But some time I have to for bahamarama pens. I try to limit it to 30 or 40 and never exceed 100. What I do for bahamarama is to place orange pens as much as I can. In that way I minimize the requirement of feeds. I try to mill 100 feeds per milling for baha (its the time requirement which is a great hindrance. Especially with events requiring mill, you cannot place a big task on baha) & 999 feeds/mill for regular farm. Try to put out orange+ pens out & in that way save feeds. Since the introduction of rainforest, its easy to grow baha crops. I keep it exclusively for 2x2 comfort fields and the rest 1x1 plots for XXL trees/rare trees.

I grow corns now, so that I can make my own feeds and also to replenish the diminishing numbers of corns in my barn.

Also milling my feeds puts my rate of growing mouse (in this case) at a steady level. If I harvest the pens earlier using buffs, then I have to buy more and more feed. I do not like that and its not advisable too, for me ;). There is time. Just try to harvest twice a day. No need for any buffs. That''s my plan. You can mill the required feed everyday as you grow the animals.

I finished on all farms ...barely . Not my favorite event. The baby farm has been waiting on poem drops for 2 days so I had just planted carnations and logged out each day. So busy hadn't had the time until late last night to figure out I wasn't short on drops I was short on event crops xD :p
