Labor of Love Event Strategy

I didn't finish. My heart wasn't in it. On the good news side: you all are looking at a new level 82!

 

I finished the event and also made a lot of cats happy

We are having a Moonlight Mania tomorrow.

 

I'm glad I finished yesterday as my the game started lagging/dragging really bad during the night Out of my 2 stables I won-Orange truffle, Orange beaver. won 3 Nassau trees-1 XXL starfruit (enough of those) 1 XXL mandarin, 1 XXL buddahs hand. Only managed to get the extra kitchen helper, the other 2 must not have been available on my farm

 

That sure was a labor of something! I'm not sure I'd call it love! In true FOCD fashion I stayed up until 230 this morning to get the last red pandas fed. It's been a long time since I had to push hard to finish an event! Thank you to all of my wonderful neighbors and friends for the gifts throughout the event!

I did too FarmerMolly! I got my first 2 GB from a present.
I was able to find the date for the 2 animals but not for the goat. So I have an empty cloud row...

 

Whooo hooo I made it though ONLY getting the CR and the pf. Maybe I am cured from FOCD now...I hope so.

So sad...I only needed a couple of more cakes for the panda. A storm hit, we've had no electricity for the last two days...and I missed the cloud row after growing all of those love letters!

 

Well, I did get 4GB (that makes 460 and nothing to spend them on) and the goat kept plying me with PF, which was nice, but not a single extra giver. After the palava of not having enough love poems I finished with 160 that I couldn't use because I didn't have the crops! I managed to get 2 seedlings for Baha - so impressive I can't even remember what they were!

 

I got the extra giver and that saved ming farm leaving me only in need of some poems, I had no hope for this farm, too young to have good drops, it was a great win for me to get the CR here too!

 

I place no stress from events at all on the BAHA mill. Even with a 200 million cc feed investment a while back, BAHA and rainforest have a total of 82 pens out continuously, I can still see with no computations that the mill cannot keep up and it runs continuously. I'm still draining the feed. This farm is nearly all animals/production pens. When I began aggressive feed acquisition I cleared my market of all BAHA feed several times. This was before prices got outrageous.

Have a baby farm that ONLY farms BAHA and rainforest (level 36, Baha level 51). It is out of feed. It has so few ccs that it makes no sense to even buy the feed anymore. It is in a bad position with the goal I have for the farm.

I want it to be prepared to begin farming the mainland for some TOP 1000 competition BUT while still in Mentor Brookeham's nest
(if she doesn't kick me out). So that means no ep, farming animals or crops brings ep which I don't want. The farm now is surviving by buying the crops to mill the feed to sell in the market to finance operations.

Just like in the mouse chain or the peacock chain, when I buy the crop I am actually having another unknown farmer produce the crop for me because I cannot produce it myself or I get the ep which I don't want. So what I actually pay for is:

• The water and poop if they use any
• I'm sure they want to get their 10% listing fee back which is included in their price
• their effort for growing whatever it is
• And I buy whatever profit they can get

Then I go from there already having bought what I do not need or want to buy. But I have no alternative or surely get ep and fail.

Strategy? You bet I have one primary objective: Survive. lol

No, artisan gifts won't help a bit. The farm is so low level and will remain that it will never see the market for it and be able to sell it. I don't even want the drops on BAHA because they convert to ep which I don't want at the end of the events. (Neighbors thankfully do not send them.)

In baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad shape. Hate to admit it but the farm is about ready to start growing junky cheap baha crops.

Ok ok, I know you'll say well trees.
And I'll say: Okay you buy um cause I da have any ccs.

Then you'll say: Well get the ccs.
And I'll say: Well, I'm trying but I had to begin somewhere.

And you'll say: Well get to it
Then I'll say: (I can't, the MODS will get me but you have an idea)

Makes no sense to me using that BAHA mill for event requirements. One will only find themselves short of feed when producing a required animal or even worse buying feed for the purpose and only driving up their own costs of working on an event.

 

Both farms = Was only able to finish the panda? cakes - tried the flowers but just not enough drops.
Had just enough to finish the love letters after morning harvest but forgot to calculate mill time and giving gift one by one.
Barely made it about 5 letters in and the event ended.
Got cloud row and 1 item - maybe get the others in G&T

Cured of FOCD? Not a chance!

 

The changes in the Alchemist trade will provide for use of craft items to be used as buffs. When used properly they will reduce the growth time to harvest. That reduction coupled with specific refinements for specific crops appears to, again, reduce time to harvest.

Stategically selecting the crop which suits ones RL schedule in order to harvest when ready should provide more drops in a shorter time period.

Future event strategy will most likely include use of Alchemist craft products as an alternative.

It was rough...burnt out from Carnival...it was too quick after the last event...didnt know if I was coming or going. I did have my fields as a 1x1....not sure if it worked...i managed to get the cloud row pieces as gifts which was cool...but too much

wonder trees: new trees?? I have no room for more trees...I have all these EP givers in storage that i have no space for....one day i am going to have to empty the fields and re-arrange the EP givers because i know I have some with lower points on the field than in storage. sure would be nice to have land...or how about a jungle where i can plant all my trees...

 

Did the Event, although boring, and I got a Swan from Mystery Stables!
