I am now approaching my 1 year anniversary of playing farmerama and I still do not have a good strategy for Midnight Madness. I am working on finishing the FSQs and getting items from Jack's Shop, but there is still a lot I don't know.

For example, in the FSQ quest Jacks back I see you can get a cloud row for finishing the last level, but I have no idea what it's worth, or what I need to fill it out. I've got bat breeding, I am working on crow breeding, have several of the Tentacle willows, and some spooky givers, but with the 24 hour time limitation when it's here I would really appreciate comments, ideas, suggestions, and strategies from some of the older, wiser farmerama veterans.

Any and all comments are welcome! I hope they may help other newer farmerama players too. Thank you.

Doc I would go for the Jacks Back CR first. This CR gives you a 10% time reduction on growing all spooky crops for 24 hours. It does take a lot to get the items to fill the CR though. Here is the FAQ for the quest.
The oldest quest, like Count Bracula give really poor rewards so I would leave them until you have nothing better left to do. Just my suggestion :)

If you get the CR from Jacks Back, you can sometimes trade for the deco items needed during a Barter, Gift and Exchange.

Other than that, if you have Unthemed CRs that need 1x2 items, you can make Mummy deco items for them.

My strategy is too build up crop numbers for the next FSQ and event xD

Thank you all for all the helpful information. Since I only have 24 hours at a time, realistically more like 16 to 18 hours at most, I needed to know how to plan my crops. Which crops to grow during the event and which crops to plant as the event is ending. With the information you kind folks have given me it helps me plan much better, rather than just aimlessly going after different FSQs, or items from Jack's shop. :inlove::inlove::D:) That is the wonderful thing about the farmerama community. It is full of great people always willing to lend guidance, support, ideas, or a helping hand. :inlove::inlove::D
Other comments are welcome, for I doubt I am the only one who will find this information very helpful. Thank you.;)

Doc remember you don't have to do the entire Jack's Back FSQ, just the silver for each level then the gold & diamond for the final level. Also the CR requires specific items from Jack's Shop. ;) So concentrate on those MM crops and then you can finish the rest of the FSQ's as you wish. By then you'll also know which of the other items in Jack's Shop you might want. :music: Take advantage of the MM field down time, plant the longest growing crop you need at the end of MM & it will be ready when MM starts again. :D You'll finish Jack's Back CR sooner than you might think, just make a plan and remember the rest of the FSQ's will still be there. ;)
I'm also coming up on my 1 year anniversary at the end of this month & was very helter-skelter with MM crops too. Just finished Jack's Back CR with items in December & am now working on finishing MM FSQ's. :p Good luck with MM.

    Thanks @JJenks , my 1000th like. :D

I grow the shorter timed crops during the event and then put out about 20 plots or so of the longest ones right before the end. When MM comes back they are ready and I can use my time building stocks of shorter crops all over again.

@labmommy30 why only 20 plots? Fill the whole field with 1x1's, eat a CAC at the start of MM and you'll really jump start your MM harvest. The MM field has the same layout as the Main & Green Meadow (202 1x1's) If you don't have harvester active, do 1x2's you'll still get a nice boost! ;)

Oh, I do, but I put a few different crops out. It's all of what you said, for sure! Just a mix of plants.;)

My friend and mentor also recommended the same thing ..... first thing... do the "Jack's Back" to get the cloud row, then I worked on getting the items for the row. I like it that now sometimes Moonlight Mania is longer than one day, but it doesn't always happen and I work so it leaves very little time to make use of growing time. I did complete that cloud row and this helps tremendously. I too just passed my one year anniversary here!
