Nope. The short timed one has always been during working hours for the West. The regular one the hours have been different.

I wonder who came up with the idea of 6 hour events... It's no good for working people and it doesn't work for different time zones either.
Keep the mini events 24-48 hours as before and make it fair for everyone

After at least 3 G&T mini events looking for a chestnut farmer and also noticing all the others also looking for this one deco item, I ask that BP consider making this and possibly the other Chestnut cloud row items available somehow. I was too new a farm to complete the event and would really like to finish the greyed out cloud row.

Another G&T where the Party Wheel flowers cannot be traded. Cannot get them from the Party Wheel anymore. Doomed to never get my Loading Flower to complete my row.

So at this point wondering when we're even going to see the Baby Boom for the peone class. 88 hours left in the event and not even an annoucement yet. Only going to give us 2 days to finish? One day? What?

Please life the restrictions for the party wheel flowers and scarecrows. We have a trend of being able to trade the latest event EP givers so why must we wait 4 months for pens and trees? This G/T did not include the latest trees that had met the 4 month requirement. Additionally, it would be nice to win licenses like we do party spins in events and quests or even on the farmwheel.

I was so disappointed to wake and find that a baby boom was ending in 55 minutes. It would have been so nice to be in the group that was able to get a jump on the mice event. I'm so glad there is another one later so I'm get my chance to breed mice.

While I was disappointed to miss it, I really like the idea of a short baby boom to kick off breeding events. How about having them start at the same time in each time zone. This one tart at 1400 CET so 1400 EST, 1400 PST, etc.

How does coffee help when someone has to be at work. And, sorry, but getting up at 1 AM to play an internet game is quite a bit different than finding time in the afternoon, as those in most of Europe get to do.

If they want a short boom, then it should at least be staggered. That will still hurt those working abnormal shifts (night workers and the like), but at least its equal.

I have to admit that I agree that a 6 hour event is not the best amount of time, and agree that 12 would be better and even the playing field.
Additionally, I have to say that (in my case) the mini baby boom gave the whole event a somewhat anti-climatic feel. This might have been intentional (making it easy) by the dev's, since we just had 2 harder events back-to-back.
I geared up for the Mouse breeding for days. ( I know some who did for longer) Feared I had not enough mice, (146) and I finished the event in hours, did not even need the full 6 hours of BB, and had 50 mice left.
I do love Baby Boom, but the challenge was gone. :(

I could copy all of the above comments, because I agree (sort of) with everyone, I think the time difference is a problem specially for events like G&T or BB if the event like this one is only 24 hours, starting on a weekday when most farmers are at work or asleep depending on where they live. :p At the end of the day this game is virtual and people have real lives and real jobs so they can spend the real money on the game ;)!

As one that worked swing all my life < can't beat the money or vacations every 3 months.>nothing was ever fair week to week, from fast food to gas stations to concerts but you deal.
Nothing can ever be fair to everyone, no one has the same times, same offers or the same things, But complaining that this does not carter to me just gets you upset, and this is fun.
I don't play any other game as I will not buy electro gloves/visors or soup up my streaming, or gold plate any thing in my comp. as so many do to play games, it's me and I am happy I found a game right off that works for my life.
If I needed something else as to the game not fitting me I would have gone elsewhere the games are way too many and styles to ever get bored.
This is a Europe based game, it could easily just say hands in the air and only carter to the people of said country, all other just deal.
I know a working stiff would love games to start around 7ish, time for shower/kids/meal then sit at comp. to play event, 7 pm there is 1 pm here, that would be sad as 1pm is working time here.
I think the times work good and vary pleased to "coffee up" at the times that get me up or keep me up.

I like to do rope knotting/weaving, Vary big in China and other non us areas, I belong to groups that chat and meet at the countries times not mine, it's my choice to get on at Swedish time 5pm or to miss a swap and mail.
No one complains, you make it or you don't, this month someone in China sent out a dragon bag in turn I sent out a leopard one a really fine weaver that always swaps from Norway could not do this month due to real life, he will have to wait till November till it happens again and he can do a swap.
I myself had to miss a chat, and you have to accept what the group picked as a theme and hope you have something made up to take part next time or just start over join the theame picking and next time do a trade.
Join together when you can, and when you can't live your life with a smile and a grin.

I don't know whether I can speak for anyone else, but me personally am not saying that I do not like the game (wouldn'd be playing otherwise) but for events like G&T where IGMs are widely used a 24 event to me does not sound feasible because like mingling so kindly pointed out that if I send a message at 7pm the other person whose time is 1am might be sleeping/working or whatever. By the time I get the reply it might be 7pm the next day for me and the event will be over!
