I did get 2 good skips...and 1 skip I'm not too thrilled about....
-from reg. chameleons an officer
-from reg. mice an astro
-Then 4 lab mice skipped over the astro to a computer mouse....ugh....I really wanted the next level(astro) so I could build a pink mouse stall...like my gal pal..The Queen of Pink.
Well I will just keep at it.

I know...davidb....what a problem to have right? Yes, all the market will allow is 5.6m. I'm going to hang on to it. DBAYES wisely pointed out that I now only need 1 more and then I can build a pink cheese stall. But it will be eons before I see another computer mouse.

 

Psst... keep it to yourself, but I have three...... one was a skip like yours, one was bred conventionally and one was a lower order skip!

Wow, I finally completed this event today. Had the breedings practically full just waiting for BB day so I could reap my rewards. I nearly finished on one farm, just needed a chef mouse. The other farm needed jerboas and chef mice. Continued breeding, and one farm got a computer mouse and the other got an astro mouse . I just don't know if those were from regulars or spotted mice. I didn't breed anything higher than that.

 

*sigh*Now see what you all did! I finished the quest buying any and all available colored mice, using what I needed and reselling the rest at tidy profits, took 2 1/2 days of lurking around the market, but I did it with no PF (missed the limited BB Monday). Waited semi-patiently all week for BB to start, did some regular breeding, didn't get very good skips (best was a chef mouse from regulars), so decided to save rest of PF for the march breeding event, since it looks like we're going to need 6 different types of babies. Then I come here, read about all the astro skips, and just have to have another go at it. Did 25 mouse breedings, got for skips (did get one mouseketeer, but mostly kitchen and a few jerboa other than that). So doing anther 22, but that's it, gonna save the rest of my PF for next month, start milling more, and hope we get another PF-rich event in between. (Ruh-roh, second set of 22 best skip was chef mouse only. Will keep trying to buy my astros, really want that pink pen!)

 

Happy Day for me - a Swashbuckaroo from Wooly -Snout cuckoos and a Tribal turkey from regs! Also, after much careful breeding over the past year I got my Polka Turkeys for a pink pen! Congrats to those getting lovely skips!

Finished the event or most of the steps yesterday. I am very underwhelmed with my results I am happy to see all the good skips everyone else has received "Good skips fairy" must have missed my farm I'll just save my PF for something else

My mice have stopped skipping, the best was a chef. But the rabbits and ostrich have been skipping happily along.
I got an Eggshell Bunny from regular bunnies and have gotten a couple of Tunnel ostrich and a Ballet from regulars.

Been trying for the last BBs to get a golden sheep. There were 3 at 23m, but then one was removed and sold at 17m.
I bought it! Done with sheep breeding quest!

First time I get the highest skip!. Top price in my market is 5.7m so I'll keep it

 

I am curious for those who have multiple farms, does breeding quickly: using the Harvest Helper, pink jelly and pheromones, diminish the breeding results? My big farm bred in minutes 280 times with mice, mostly regular - but a few rounds of spotted and kitchen, using the Harvest Helper, lots of pheromones and pink jelly. Results of higher level: one Chef mouse and one Lab mouse. The little farm bred in days just 132 times with all regular mice harvested with out the helper, no pink jelly and no pheromones (I missed harvesting in the first baby boom by minutes so had to leave in breeding hut for the second baby boom) and got three Chef, one Mouseketeer and one Lab Mouse. The big farm easily afforded buying 2 Chef mouse with the profits from selling excess mice, so both farms finished, but it stings to have wasted so much powerfeed on the big farm. I know the results for skips are random, but perhaps if the results were affected by something I controlled than next time I'll have a better outcome.

Edit: I think my original post was unclear. My older farm spent 560 powerfeed on mice breeding, my new farm spent 264 powerfeed on mice breeding. I know big skips are random but only two good skips for the old farm compared to five good skips for the new farm? I am speculating, that like trying to get good drops with longer crops, the longer breeding time had a significant positive effect. Would leaving animals in the hut for weeks be even better?

I got my best skip since I started playing January 2012..

I just put in 4 regular pandas and got A CIRCUS PANDA!! Wowzers.. I was so bummed I missed the first brief BB and so I waited patiently and I'm so glad I did..This is amazing and sure made my not so awesome last few days turn into such great luck and smiles

Thank you everyone for the support in keeping calm till the BB came back around ..I was so worried after I missed the first quick one..Im such a worry wart LOL

 

Yippeee, I just finished. The last chef proved hard to get. Now trying for wild boars so I can get the clouds unlocked.

Many thanks to all the generous, lovely farmers who sent some pink jelly my way. Couldn't have done it without ya! I'm feeling flush now with enough jelly for this BB and the next one. Seriously tho' I'm going to have to work on my artisan village, I'm getting tired of having to so strictly ration using buffs.

 

Well stick a fork in me, I think I am done breeding for this session. (forgettable I might add).
As some of you might know I have been coveting a Pink Monkey pen for a bit and can't seem to breed one so I will settle for a Red one since I bred the 3d Gorilla.
Almost have all the Cheese to complete the Rocket Mouse quest that is around the corner,
