One-click harvest

I'm guessing this has been suggested before, but I couldn't find it when I searched, so I'll bring it up. As most of us know, harvesting by hand can be a real chore. Two clicks for every square, gets old real fast. I appreciate and love the harvester, but eventually coupons and FSQs run out, and if you can't buy the harvester function, you're back to click click, click click, click click. It would be really great, I think, if we could hand harvest with only one click, much like planting and watering. We can't harvest a crop before it's mature, so there's little risk of accidental harvest. One click reduction may not sound like much, but when you multiply that by, say, 190, on potentially 5 fields, it adds up. One click harvesting would be faster, as well as easier on those who have difficulty with their hands, which I know we have players with arthritis and other medical issues who find the current harvesting painful at times. Just something to consider.

 

I agree wholeheartedly!!!! Having arthritis myself, I buy the harvester monthly, for that reason. I probably couldn't play the game without it. One click harvesting would be so nice for reasons I don't want to use the harvester.

 

I definitely vote for this! As a mostly manual farmer anything that reduces the number of clicks required for harvesting, planting, feeding and watering would be greatly appreciated. It would help the manual farmers and I don't think it would reduce sales of harvesters at all. After all, harvesters are sooo much nicer, easier, and quicker. Please consider this and any other way to reduce the number of clicks required.

 

I'm also voting for this I would also this suggestion and I wish for it to happen. Unfortunately, BP might not implement this because this would cause less people to buy the harvesters and BP would earn less ...

 

Count me in too! With many new features of the game being included in the monthly subscription (breeding and cloud rows) I would still purchase the machinery each month for here on pnp, but it would make it soooo much nicer on the other 2 farms that are manual.

 

I agree with PnP. I would still buy the monthly harvesters, but it would make it so much easier when something comes up or I don't want to harvest something with the machinery because it harvests EVERYTHING. This way If I want to or need to, I can pick and choose what to harvest for ease of clicking.

 

A big yes from me! There will always be farmers who buy the machinery regularly, for convenience or other issues. I doubt BP would lose much by allowing one click harvesting - and would harvest barns full of goodwill in allowing this change.

I regularly buy the harvester feature but this is a great idea RL money isn't always an option, I always dread the time that clicking has to be done. I'm up for a single click option

 

I agree with this wholeheartedly.
I suffer with carpal tunnel, and manually harvesting by hand is very painful, so I will only participate in events once I have enough coupons saved up for the harvest helpers. (luckily, my barn is quite full of various crops, so when running low, I seed, and use a CAC, and as long as I harvest before weeds set in, I am fine, but I dont have to worry about time constraints as much as during a quest.)
A one click option, instead of click to pick, and then click to harvest would be fantastic.

 

except it really already IS one click harvesting. the first click is to open the menu for the plot. where would the menu go? of course when the plot needs harvesting there is only the one choice. ...mmm
why not put a lightning bolt on it?
