Play It Cool Event Strategies

I thought 1400 was 2am or 2pm that's what the conversion table said but I think it must be between 8 or 9am because it is after 2 am and the event hasn't started yet I wish I could get this timing all straightened out

start time is 2 am in New Zealand and 7pm 9am in Massachusetts... I went 7 hours the wrong way !!!

 

so that means it should start at 9am in florida

 

If Florida is in Eastern time like Massachusetts, then yes.

These Kind of Events, do regular gives us a list of requirements it has always been Mostly Main Land Crops. Also it also ask for Mainland Fruits, sometimes Products are needed or it need Animals too.

Nearly all Events do ask for Many Mainland Crops. Sometimes we do get a break not needing any Mainland Crops. But it hardly ever ask for any Tropical Island Crops during Events. As I always Nuke Event Crops on Island or Rain Forest using 2x2 Fields it has now become a Default Strategy for me to do these Events.

For me stocking up Island Crops is no longer has any uses 1) Island Crops makes less CC in the Markets compared to Mainland Crops, 2) Events hardly ever ask for Island Crops, 3) Island has become Default for Nuking Grounds for Event Crops....Reason for this i am able to use My Green Meadow, The Glade and Mainland Fields to stock up Crops that is required for this event such as we need 1580 Cucumbers.

Therefore while i am Nuking Event Crops on the Island, With CAC running in Diamond Slot using 1 x 1 Fields give total of 4 Crops But i have a Vegetable +1 Cloud Row which i activate with all my other buffs during my First Harvest of New Event. Which gives me +5 Vegetables..... As we need

• 1580 Cucumbers
• 150 Lettuce
• 250 Carrots
• 200 Rhubarb
• 200 Tomatoes

All of these are Veg Crops. I normally try to take Advantage to make CC during Events as this is My Bonus on top of Event FAQ Rewards. Sometime Super Prizes, Sometimes ok Prizes !!

It Makes a Change to ask for 200 Passion Fruits, I feel sorry for Farmers who are not Hoarders or Crops Farmers than they are unable to Restock Mainland Crops due to not enough room to grow everything that is needed. Also Many Mainland Crops Prices have really gone sky high to what they use to be. Therefore there is lots of CC to be made to Grow and Sell Mainland Crops. They are getting to Pricey to Buy for those hoping to make a Quick Buck such as Broke or any of his followers

1064 Drinking Straws is going to be Tough for many of you as it works out that you need 178 Drinking Straws every 24 Hours which is Helped by using Howie Donuts, Animal Trophy %, Crop Trophy % and Living Legend Rune. This Helps during an Event once Event has Started. But There is always two other things that helps

1. Get Neighbours or Buddies to Send you Event Drop of Drinking Straws Limited to 20 Gifts per Day
2. Preparing your Farm Prior to Event Starting, it a Huge Help to Contribute Event Drops which can put huge dent with remaining Event Drops Needed to complete this Event. But i do not use the Strategy of 1076 Divided by 6 Days Giving 178 Event Drops per Day. As I Minus The Amount of Drops i get on my First Harvest then. Therefore I have lower Average Drinking Straws than 178 Drinking Straws daily

I Most of the Time put out my Jumbo Trees Prior to Event Starting as they always gives me the Best Drops. Some of you do not have Jumbo Trees. So instead of Jumbo Trees i would Suggest to Put out as Many Production Pens those That Takes 36 or more Hours, if you can Prepare your Farm as Early as you can. I always prepare my Farm at Least 36 Hours Prior to Event Starting.

The Next Best Drops would be using Trees, Carnations Crops or Animal Stables for Those who do not have Jumbo Trees or few Production Pens. But is a Must to Max out Animal/Crop Trophy as soon as you can !!!

My Strategy is The Sooner i get Event Crops and Event Drops out of the way, the sooner i can resume to normal farming. Most often Take Advantage to Make CC, Doing Poo Farming, Growing Crops that sells for good CC etc.

It is going to Take about 4 Days to Complete This Event Good Luck Every One

 

Ummmm, That's why reading the words of vets here is a good way to wait on a crop. I read the words of one farmer sorry I can't remember your name, but your advice is still one of my fall back on things. Get 10000. of the 1st two pages of crops for sale, and aim for 5000 of the rest to have in the barn. I am still working on this but I play easier now.
Crops, if a market guru no worries, but for those that don't have helpers, CR's pets etc. straight on farming build your barn you will have other items to worry about.

The barn is your baby, the life blood of your farm. Care for it, love it and just like electronics it will love you back.

My numbers will be off, <member of the 40 watt club> but things I learnert are keep 215 crop in the barn, it is not yours, not to use or sell, it belongs to the fields to make a field of product to use.
Get your numbers up, be it a field at a time or 12 1x1's when doing mostly animals, get them numbers up.
Animals work the same way, numbers will be your's to set, but build your barn and life on the farm is sweet.

A Lion King does not worry at all about crop growers and their prices as long as they remain in line. And we will play them just like five minute lettuce that takes a crop grower 12 hours to grow. Many of those crops you regard as high priced have little demand and therefore are not appealing in the first place. Secondly, the growth rate in price of many crops is much much lower than a crop like wheat. We don't keep up with events. We know what is going to be called for well in advance. Just as what appears to be pricey high level crops are in effect worthless. Their price increase is relative to the rest of the market so there is nothing special too them. (And if someone starts cleaning their high priced worthless barn out I'll sell 100,000 pheromones so fast it's not funny.)

The only obvious ccs in crops during this event is in cucumber. Don't think I have 420,000 cucumber because I grew them all. All I can say is just keep growing whatever and price them accordingly or lion kings will not buy whatever you grow. Just keep growing.

My event strategy is still undecided at this point and for the simple reason I want to invest in my barn. I do have BAHA and forest full of moranga trees. The mainfields are full of trees which include about 400 angel apple trees. But I'm thinking seriously of doing poop farming for the entire event. We all must begin at sometime if a barn is what we choose to build.

I see something else and although the farm has well over 1.2 million cuckoos, I want 128 cuckoo pens and they are not cheap. I have enough feed. And along the way I will buy mispriced manure just as I will high level crops and lettuce. And I want some chickens so I have placed an order with my supplier for 20,000 more chickens to be paid for as soon as available. Chicken feed is now at 178, parrot feed here is and has been over 900.

I have a hard time getting enthused about growing gazillions of junks only to wind up with a ep/tep cloud row and I forget the harvest the ones I already have. Who knows just yet.

Snickers, too true, I had 24 daffodils for over 8 months never had a call for them, pssst that is why I skated most of the way in the game till now. Most things are low need build that high demand up 1st!

 

So true. It's like the cucumbers, they by no means were 1st priority. You see right!

 

Cukes are a 2nd pager on the get 10.000.00 of each, I'm working on that page now so my numbers were no 10,000.00 but high enough to cover the event with no worries. I be planting! asap!!!! more I need more
what a lot of newbee's don't see in the beginning, myself included but mine is pure envy you can do this without being a guru as farmer_broke, or need all the pets and clouds row's, just prepare the barn, you will miss some events my ming farm is still growing up and will miss finishing a lot to come, but love the barn and you can run just behind the big dogs.
now if the game would start on time.........

 

It's on! ps I miscalculated, and my crops won't be ready for another hour. If its any indication, I got 1 straw for 10 hibiscus, and 1 straw for 1 butterfly. Thank you for all the help, and Good Luck everyone.

 

Looking at the SOS thread, illy1996 estimated roughly 180 drops per 24 hours
Hope this helps .... I just got 21 drops from my trees I saved from last night (a cunning plan)

 

How are other people doing with drops from trees-- poorly or well?

 

I am pleased that I am not alone in this mistake !!

On a better note, I have 106 straws, to start with - long crop yields, mostly...

 

Thanks David, that's good to know. I've got roses on the mainland to harvest in another hour...nuking seeds in Baha. I have 28 straws from hibiscus and sweet potatoes.

 

I got 100 straws my first harvest of all fields. Mostly long overnight crops yields too.
So, this 199 million drops IS do-able lolol
