Event Crop - Papyrus - can grow on all 5 fields - 6 hour crop
Drop Item - Compass - from crops, tress stables, workshops and Magic Tree - you can also gift to neighbours
Mill Item - Map = 100 papyri = 1 minute mill time
Mill Item - Provisions = 50 carrots, 50 potatoes, 5 apples, 5 walnuts = 30 seconds mill time

Requirements to complete the full event
168 Maps = 16,800 papyri
700 Compasses = need 117 per day
42 Provisions = 2100 carrots, 2100 potatoes, 210 apples, 210 walnuts

Requirements to just get cloud row - SEE BETTER OPTION BELOW FROM BlackCaviar - Less requirements
Need to complete Silver Level 1 and all Level 2, 3, 4, 5
147 Maps = 14,700 papyri
555 Compasses = need 93 per day
32 Provisions = 1,600 carrots, 1,600 potatoes, 160 apples, 160 walnuts

Gives: 5000 EP, 5000 TEP

Farmers, hold your gifts after reset until after the event starts. Your neighbors will thank you!

There is another way to just go for the Cloud Row. Silver 1-4, all 5, 6.

Requires:

30 provisions = 1500 carrots, 1500 potatoes, 150 apples, 150 walnuts
123 maps = 12,300 papyri
490 compass = 82 per day

Please check my math someone but it looks like if you only want the CR, this is the way to go.

Should I expect that the average drop ratio for Compass is the same as for Shears, i.e. this event is two times harder than the last one?

 

No, you can expect more drops this time

 

No, fluffykiss ! I think the drop rate will be more reasonable for this event. For this event the magic tree gives drop too.

 

Magic tree? I am noob, I don't use magic tree, you so-many-years-playing cheters...

 

Thanks frmrlife and BC for info. This should be easy enough to complete, I have all the requirements.

 

16800 6 hr crop, poo will rise up again
farmrlife had not mention, but FAQ stated that mill product can be milled on main land
as well as baha mill
had set up island tree to wait for event start.
main farm keep mix farming, next morning, remind myself not to harvest those long hrs
workshops& stables.
then, all plant fields will convert them into comfort field, plant carnation, with SG love(refined).
It could be harvest when event start.
Hope to get a high drops on starting.

 

I have only one, if that would satisfy you.

 

I have filled my fields with carnations and workshops/pens that give high eps/teps. I've also planted Jumbo trees and XXL Jumbo trees so I'm expecting a bumper harvest and lots of drops to get me started. I hope that works.

I got 185 x compass from my first harvest.

Only 20 hours since the event started and I have 447 x compass, so the drop rate looks good.

I am trying a new set up for drop rate.
Activated a Valentine Pot and Church Bouquet for pen/workshop decrease.
On glade pens/workshops that were 22 hours or more with 20 hour trees around edge.
Main field all 20 hour trees, meadow I am farming today but will plant carnations with water at correct time.
Baha 1 of each workshop, pandas and camels then 20 hour trees around edge.
Rainforest all 20 hour trees.
I just went with what I had longest in "growth" time.
We shall see

I hear ya CylentLea!!! The excitement is too much, can hardly wait.

 

I'm sorta glad the last few events have been kind of mindless as I have little spare time at the moment. Time to harvest quickly but none to keep up with the forum and all the funny wonderful farmers here.

Hope everyone is doing great and has a lot of success with the drops. Hopefully my work project will lighten up soon and I can once again join in the forum fun.

 

I think I'm going to sit this one out so I can build up my animals again and I think I will just try to sell some poop and see how I do lol cant build them up if I have to keep tearing them down lol

Mores the pity. I had just set up growing Horses, Pigs, and Turkeys for the next Neon event.

So much for well laid plans.
