I think I'm going to join MARLYMAR and skip this one, or at least I'm going to try to if my FOCD doesn't get the best of me.

I just don't see any rewards that are too exciting and I'm running out of harvest helper coupons and FSQs that give harvest helpers, so I'm going to have to pick and choose when I want to use them. Besides, I've got some medical things coming up that will reduce the time I'll have available to the point where I would be hard pressed to finish it.

Finally got smart and went to the German forum in the wee hours of the morning to get the FAQ (at least an hour before released here, probably more, was rather sleepy so not sure), and was able to cash in on carrots for a short while (sold thousands at 43.25 each) until I accidentally set my price 2 CCs higher than I meant to, and got buried. Oh well, deleted those offers and will continue selling at good prices (over 30) as long as market stays high. Sold about 1/2 my potato stock too, but only had 10,000, so held on to most of them...for now. Will plant long term crops in a bit, raspberries maybe, or carnations if time runs short on me (refinements, gotta love 'em!), have some pens out, including jumbos, and of course my trees, most of which won't come down. Husband has to go out of town for work on Sunday, not back until Tuesday night, so plenty of time to grow, grow, grow! Who needs sleep anyway?

 

I think I would agree with you since work has my mind numbed. I have some other goals to accomplish in preparation for the future.

I'm not ready for another event. I want to play with my 'toys' I got from Gift and Trade!

Bw will do the event just to go for the stables, trees, and PF in the hopes of getting a swan and a new tree I don't have. Pnp will do it just for the PF to get ready for the breeding later in the month. Otherwise, I would skip it and work on other farming goals.

 

Ohhhh yea that was annoying. I am not gonna stress this event either...i will try and do what i can but i wont be at work hiding in the corner on my tablet

Pups I have Made good use of Cookware Forges i got from Barter Gift Event to Help me get a Decent Amount of Drops for this Event on my First Harvest, Also This Better Tactic i am using able me to Kill Two Birds with One Stone to help me get step closer to Completing Level 7 of Soups and Friends Quest !!

The Use of Jumbo Trees of Super Grow and Suzy Super Grow, which helps with Event Drops i can use what i gain to help me Nuke The Event Drops without Depleting my Stock of Super Grow or Suzy Super Grow...This is Another Effective Tactic. This is couple reasons why i no longer grow Carnations over Night Prior to this Event.

Every Event I Try to Make much CC as possible. So I can use it to Buy Long Time Crops that i am unwilling to Grow on My Farm such as Roses or Carnations, Leeks, Garlic, Onions or Hazelnuts simply Buy anything that i am short one from the Markets.

I Just Love Growing Refinement Crops that Makes loads of CC Specially Vegetables crops with +1 Veg Cloud Row, I wish you all well and Enjoy This Event

 

Couldn't plan for this event drops. So yesterday I just put out all the trees I had without their upgrades. I had few workshops already out. Didn't harvest them. Waiting for the event to start harvesting them. Let's see what drop I get.

Level 1 and level 7 offer no stars to those needing them.
RL assignments must rule my initial set up and there are 48 and 36 hr production pens with scented trees in the outlying areas of the three fields. BAHA has long time stables surrounded by high EV trees in outlying areas. Rain forest is completely full of high EV trees. There will be no immediate harvesting as event begins as RL rules.

Nearly 17 gazillion junks is nothing for me to look forward to. There will be no super grow used whatsoever, not even on the first 10 seeds.

• With over 1.2 million carrots remaining I see no need to be glued to the computer growing that stuff. I hope to find time to grow the carrots needed for the event next week.
• With nearly 1.6 million apples I still intentd to put out two fields of angel apple trees (the angels are constantly in mind).
• With over 171 thousand potatoes I see no need to bother with the market in the area but give those seeking ccs something to do for a while.
• With 700 thousand walnuts I will not bother with making ccs there (will buy mispriced offers and play like lettuce).
• BAHA, which holds animals, will slowly move to event crops. No hurry here so the farm will work with 2x2 leisurely to generate needed seeds for other areas.
• The farm will gradually move to all event junks in 1x1's and it will be a done deal come what may.
• As with other events of this nature, the primary objective is to keep fields as active as possible around RL.
• With 85 thousand parrot feed on hand my intention is to continue to keep parrot feed prices unreasonable in order to make it not so profitable for those without parrot feed to produce parrots for poop sales.
• The intent is to purchase about 65 thousand chickens in hopes of returning the chicken level to desire. The event will not offer enough to meet that goal.
• Cuckoo prices are just over 1 thousand on this market and with several listing of 100 and over. Those purchasing are most likely making poor use of ccs by using the cuckoos at that price for the animal trophy. There is not much choice if their needs are high because the animals offerring efficiency are not in sufficient numbers for many. I intend to leave cuckoos alone and let barn supplies continue to fall. No production of cuckoos is necessary on this farm.
• Cheap carnations are flowing out for One-Two's carnation kingdom so I will work on it.
• At over 881 thousand pumpkins the farm must raise the acquisition rate in order to work further on sirpippen's pumpkin patch. I'm thinking seriously of just hiring a crop grower at a fair rate.

Event rewards ......... hmmmmmm I da care about um but will accept Mooboy's analysis of them and be done.

All those event junks! WOW! In a nutshell and politely: Just another exercise in frustration.

No time to begin a new farm this event.

I also am a 'so-many-years-playing' farmer...I am not a cheater. I play this game according to its rules. But I only have three Magic trees...guess that makes me 'small potatoes'! Lol!
I also have missed many things - like the old BB tree, which I would have loved to have. But I don't try to make others feel bad because they have them...I am very happy that they do. What I do is play this game - I farm. If others can get things that I cannot - good for them!! They are farming too, and playing this game the best way they can. (Heyyy...just like real life!)
Wouldn't you(plural) be happier if you did, too?

EDIT: Meba, the 'you' is plural, as there were others who were also complaining about the magic trees.
