SOS Around the World - Drop Item/Compass

The Around the World event starts tomorrow and this thread is for those who need a helping hand from fellow farmers to finish or achieve personal goals during this event.

For the 6 day event the estimated daily/24 hour period requirement is:
117 Compasses to complete FULL Event
OR
82 Compasses to get cloud row and items

If you need anything else for the event, please ask for it here.

Hi frmrlife I am sure you had the best intentions and it is very nice of you to help out Thanks for setting up the strategy thread. The strategy thread is set up by whoever gets there first, but I agree with hatzeva, this is somehow illy's thread. It was her initiative and she has kept it up for years. As someone else said to me, illy is a good person and I wouldn't think she minds, main thing is that there is a thread. But in respect for her efforts over the years I would wait for her to set it up, which she usually does before event start.

However I truly do appreciate your good intentions!

 

Boy oh boy! Turned my back and the posts are stacking up here! Thought Mir was already asking for help lol!

Firstly, as I didn't want to harvest, my first thoughts were to come here and create the thread. When I saw the Strategy post giving a link to the SOS thread that had already been created, for a split second I was a little taken aback but then, I thought ... hey, now I don't need to do it this time!

To be fair as well, frmrlife copied the same text and left the links in so it was just saving me the job! My only concern was the links were not updated in the Guidelines thread - which I have now done.

This is a very busy week for me, with only today off, so frmrlife has done me a favour but thank you Hatzeva and Mir for voicing your thoughts that my feelings might be hurt or my nose put out of joint. I do appreciate that but I also am happy that if I don't make an appearance for whatever reason, somebody will step in to take up the baton and run with it!

Now let's go around the world!

 

So much for farming all weekend!! Got home, played in my own garden/farm, ate dinner, enjoying a glass of wine, and now realizing that I am far behind in the compass drop allotment....and will be all week due to wrk and RL.
I know it is a bit early, but I barely made it to the finish line last event and that was with a lot of help, sooooooo.........Any and All HELP IS greatly appreciated with Compass gifts this event. If you require a drop in return, please send an IGM.

I have all my drops now so I'm good to help out. I did all pens and trees for the first 3 days and that put me ahead to do just crops.

 

Hello everyone, I dont normally post in the SOS thread but my telephone line went dead 11:30 UK time last Friday and was only fixed at 18:00 Monday evening . All my long term crops that were carefully planted went to weeds and now I am rushing to catch up and get hopefully a couple of EP givers. Whilst I have the most amazing neighbours who continued to send me compasses whilst offline I would greatly appreciate any that you kind folks are able to send as I dont have very many due to not being able to play, I am currrently trying to complete the third part of the event. I will repay your kindness with craft gifts. Thank you. (Level 95)

My two main farms have got more than enough Compasses to complete the event but the small farm could do with a little helping hand if anyone has any spare gifts. The farm is called:

Thank you everybody who has sent so far, you have already made a dent in the total outstanding for Chevrefeuile. - it currently needs
101 (and counting down) which is just a tad more than the average required daily but I have had to change back to event crops so that was why I asked for a little helping hand (on Chevrefeuile that is lol!).

Write a short message and send to whom ever is asking for help and then add as a friend.

.FarmerArchie. asked for help today. Sent a message as above, went into my Friends list and searched for .FarmerArchie. After I had added him/her to my friends list sending gifts is a such an easy task.

Good morning! Chevrefeuile is on the last lap and thanks to all the help received needs only 30 Compasses to finish. It has all the important stuff so it is just wanting to finish for finishing's sake lol! If I can get another 12, I can buy 18 from the store.

I have to leave at 11.00 and will not be able to harvest before the end of the event so please do not send any Compasses after 11.00 (2.5 hours from now).
