Anyone else cashing on on the potatoes market? Selling for over 200cc here, that's better than poop! Have advised my chicks to grow potatoes and carrots to make a killing on the market.

 

What are the zeppelins for that I'm shooting down?

Boom Boom, I shot some Zepplins this morning before work...... Just got home and harvested my fields and got 149 Compass which I am please with. I don't have any Jumbo Trees but as soon as we have an event that offers them I am going to participate this time. Wow.... Mooboy cannot get over your drops!!! Thank you frmrlife and BlackCaviar for doing the figures for us..... saves us so much time and time is precioussss indeed! Good luck everyone and have FuN!!!

 

So.. main and meadow full of 4.5h crops (don't have longer yet), Glade with 20h trees and long stables. Initial drop - the amazing number of 10 compasses. Remember kids, this is whats happening if you joke about magic trees

Well, my initial harvest was 160 and 168 drops. Since last event I am getting more drops on SadieBAW than baw815. Off to a good start though.

 

I left my FSQ farm alone again. No special moving and planting except for the Horses, Turkeys, Pigs, and Chickens I had up on the main field. But they were never intended to be there for very long anyway. Just wanted a little boost for the next Neon event.

So, the initial harvest this morning netted me 117 drops. Harvests + gifts from kind hearted Neighbors since then have added 70 for a total of 187. 12 hours into the event, things appear to be progressing nicely.

@farmer_broke I noticed the lack of Stars on the first and last steps as well. What's up with that? or perhaps

 

TC - potatoes selling about the same on my market; poo about half that. No problem, I'm an equal opportunity seller!
Picked up 70 drops with 3 fields of event crop harvest, and some animals - not bad! Night crop now in.

 

I've gotten 320 drops already today. Almost half what I need for the entire event. I think I'm good.

Oh ! Almost everyone. But the potatoes take long to grow unlike carrots. Sigh.....that's the only draw back....sigh

 

So Far I have 446 Compass Drops, Need only 5 More Harvests of Papyrus 254 Compass Drops as I am getting an Average of 51 Compass Drops of 5 Fields Harvest of Papyrus. As I get better drops on Island and Rain Forest. So Far so Good Carrots was selling at High at 55 CC Potatoes now selling for 320 CC. I am making loads of CC. But i got lots of Regrowing of Carrots and Potatoes after this Event at least it gives me something to do lol

 

Millions are rolling in! yay! I only have 15k of potatoes left but 300k of carrots to go and fooled a little with that mkt yesterday clearing it and someone else did too hahaha I really love that.

I have no idea about drops nor crops but I guess I am fine on both

 

But my market did not reach that price for carrots & potatoes, Mooboy. Carrot is struggling to keep up with 20 to 25 CCs. That's because during the last event and this event there was a great dumping of carrots around 9999/5000/2000 amount for each offer. Potatoes around 218 CCs.

 

Down to my last 300 potatoes, and 1500 carrots. Couldn't resist selling at the crazy carrot prices. And 300 for potatoes! Will more than likely sell 1200 of remaining carrots after current listings go, easy to grow after all, and I still have 13 hours left on my scarecrow cloud row, plus CAC, plus alchemist vegetable buff for a little speed boost, so can use one field for potatoes and/or carrots (after papyrus finishes) while growing event crop on others. Started event with 160 drops, only had 2 hours of farm time since, but still up to 264 so far, if rates stay like this everyone should do well.

12, bearbabe market for carrots is depressed too, hovering in high teens to low 20s, many, many offers of 9,999. Lettuce, too, at 5 CC and under. Potatoes not bad at around 275. Don't forget to buy your daily allotment of 100 from the store, everyone!

Ah Spots you are so funny and I will let you in on a secret...I get exactly like that too when I am tired - at least I keep telling myself that that is my excuse for behaving weird

 

Oh meba, you ain't seen nothin' yet! My husband goes out of town tomorrow for 3 days for work, and I don't sleep well when he's gone, so I will get only a few hours sleep in those 3 days. I imagine I will be bouncing off the walls by the time he gets home. (And of course, you're right, lack of sleep is but a handy excuse for those of us who dwell in the realm of oddness. Besides, we're not weird, we're...special)
