Manure during an event costs hundreds of dollars. It is diffacult to finish an event. Set a max of the cost. Especially during an event. Might be able to finish one.

I usually don't use manure during events -- I sell it. Have been able to finish the events (rated medium or easier) unless I make a stupid mistake (not tearing up enough fields to plant event crop).

Are you able to use 1x1's with CAC buff?
    or Comfort field with SG?

yes you wont to turn your fields to 1x1's. and use your CAC that gives you 6 for the price of 1.
As far as Comfort fields I am not for sure, sorry. Hope this helped.

That will change in time. As said, many of us sell manure rather than buying it during events.

Sometimes refinements can help (there is a thread on refinements in the strategy forum if you are interested). The new Alchemist buffs seem to have potential as well, though only for some crops.

Thank all. Gave me some ideas. I will try without manure and check out the refinements. Thanks again. Happy Farming

having only been playing 5 weeks I can say that selling manure when it is in high demand is about the only way for beginners to make any decent CCs to buy all the trees and stables and such. ( and selling the chickens who make it) to this day my staples are the chickens and their poop. I am starting to get some more high end things going, but you know how long those things take. I think selling manure is a fine niche for entry level players (who generally can't get a lot of the benefits from the events yet)

I agree with you VereSmyth selling manure helps new players. My belief is that prices for manure are extremely high during an event. I cannot afford the basket special sales so I have no super grow . Using manure helps crops grow faster.

I can't finish them either. I don't expect to. my mentor and high level friends taught me to sell manure during events. they use strategies as nm56, tmfarrm and woody suggested. they don't buy baskets and they finish the events.
until I have reached a point in the game where I too can use manure, instead of selling it, I am happy to consider the extra ccs an event consolation prize for learners.

A good way for beginners to make money is by selling feed. I learned to try to never let my mill stop. I nade a lot of money selling feed and at night I always made power feed. More advanced players can have a hard time making enough feed for all their animals, so they buy a lot of feed.

Make and save all the power feed you can because you will need it when you reach the level where you can start breeding. You can burn up a lot of power feed very fast with the new breeding shack and you can never have too much feed.

I've only been playing for almost a year and some of the more veteran players may disagree with me, or have better advice, but selling feed allowed me to accumulate over 2 million CCs. As you advance you will find more ways to make money, but selling feed was a good way for me starting out. Good luck.

Feed prices have escalated in the past few months, so it makes more sense now than it did in the past. Basically, as long as you watch the ingredients and costs, a whole variety of things can be beneficial. I think its good that players look at different options both because things change and because too many concentrating on one particular item will make that price drop.

The real key is to look at a variety of products and options and not to get too terribly set on any one thing. Go with the markets, they change constantly!

I still say manure prices during events should have a max selling price. No matter what level one is at. There are other things that can be sold all the time to make ccs. Why should the prices be so high during an event?? Lately I haven't finished events. It costs to much for manure. Any other time it costs as low a 7ccs. just put a max price of 100ccs or so on it....for all the time. Well said Woody. Expand your variety of things to sell. I am a higher level player and a mentor.

I know some times manure can reach very high but some players who don't do the event make a lot of CC this way.

I have to disagree with this one because if you choose not to do an events, making ccs from poop is a great perk. Newer players can easily make some cc's this way. I know for me the price of manure taught me to play the market so that if I want to I can afford manure during events. To cap the price would be detrimental to those players who don't/can't do events and want to make easy cc's.

This Suggestion does not resolve the Problem of Manure running out during Events at times
