Temple of Doors Event Strategy

Nellie, try to read the FAQ again, there is no middle room and no door 6.

The rooms are labeled from 1 to 6. In each room there are three doors, left, middle and right. Going through any of those three doors takes you to the next room. You can see which room you are in in the lower right corner of the event window.

On the bottom right the red round thing says I'm at room 6/6 but I didn't get the event piece I think it back in 5 ... I think I think lol, so confused.

I also haven't got all the keys, it is the wavy ones that won't come to me, but I have plenty of circles lol

Does the ruby have to be red in the middle ?

Is everything completely bright red ? If the stone is completely red it means you have finished one room completely out of total 6 rooms. Count the numbers of such stones to see the total rooms you have finished. The number of incomplete red stones says how much rooms you have finished.
Check if the prizes icons in the event window are ticked. If the prizes are ticked it means you have finished that part of door in room 6. If not you have to do it.

Just like I said yesterday, all I got today is circles, more circles and only one wavy. I still need 4 wavy. I don't need anymore circles. I can't use any of them.

OK I got my circles....Finally!!
Now just three triangles to go and this event is done and FORGOTTEN.

I too need a triangle, but I have 10 circles - somebody get me a hammer and chisel and I'll make them fit in the triangle hole!

 

completed 1st round, stuck at door 2 in round 2. need circles and I am getting only triangles. @TCRooster , let us exchange---I will give you triangles and you give me circles....lol

I have 7 circles and I don't need them at all. Here, dear friend . You can have them all. Lol.

Now it is exactly 12 midnight. Stayed up late and harvested the crops and thought I might get one wavy and finish 5 room. But I got yet another with circle in addition to 6 already and now planted more event crops and all the rest will continue tomorrow morning. What tomorow hold for me ? More circles ????!!!!! To be continued tomorrow......

Done, done done!!! And way turned off of anything Farmerama right now... (I'm kind of lol-ing, but really it's not even remotely funny!).
Hope BP doesn't do this random thing to us to this extent EVER again... because this was not a fun event for quite a few of us. I should have stopped myself at just the getting CR and givers, and maybe a couple of the easy to get goodies instead of pushing myself to finish the entire event just to feel a sense of accomplishment. All I feel right now is worn out from all the ups and downs from getting the wrong keys over and over and over, ugh!

Congrats to those that have trudged thru it and finished, and to those still battling the stingy random beast... keep your chin up, if you can bare the frustration I'm sure you can get thru it.

Now I'm off to the SOS thread to see who I can help out once my gifts reset for the day

 

No!! After a 6.5 hour wait for the lobster claws planted this morning, I just got NO circles, again. Stuck for a day or so now at door 2 (!) on my second walk thru. I am losing interest not only in this quest but also the entire game. I don't need that kind of frustration. Good luck out there.

 

It seems to me, the randomness isn't in favor of finishing the event. The closer one gets to the finish the more unlikely it is you'll get the shapes needed. Guess the BP team/programmer caused an unwanted trick on us. If it was intended .. shame on you!

6 more random keys and I keep getting waves and circles. Still need 2 triangles.

 

O.M.Goodness I finally finished on this farm I still need to finish 1 door the cloud row on marly I believe I will get it YAY!!!!! please don't give up it will come to you all too

 

Oh, for the love of triangles, I am now getting waves! I hope these extra keys are REALLY heavy because I'm going to throw them at whichever dev came up with this idea!

 

FINISHED! (sort of)
Almost hate to post, except part of my post fits right in. I followed Mir's advice and worked on the random keys first. The end result? I was able to collect all random keys with only 1 Triangle and 1 Circle left over. So every door except the last one on the left has been opened. I'm waiting on my last harvest for enough crop to buy the squares.

Kudos To Mir for such a great idea!

My wife is still sitting in limbo growing crops and collecting tablets all for the illusive Circle. She has one door left. It needs 3 Circles, one Wave, and one Triangle. She has 8 Waves, 14 Triangles, and No Circles. While reading all the posts about the unfairness involved with this random thing, it struck me that this is far from random. To me, random suggests that you see all shapes in due time not just one or two.

To my way of thinking, the only thing that would have made this bearable would be to allow Farmers to trade the surplus with others thus helping each other. Thus creating a happier farming community.
