Feedback Temple of Doors

I For one think it's good idea GrimReaper... it would have been a lot more fun exchanging with neighbours and less grueling then growing endless crops to get keys we don't want

 

I didn't like the setup of the progress "map", found it confusing and no way to see what you have donated and what is still required. The randomness seems too unbalanced, I ended up with 10 extra wave keys and needed to buy more drops as I wasn't sure of my availability to be online near the end. If I had known exactly which keys I still needed I probably wouldn't have done that

 

I don't like to complain but this is RIDICULOUS! I'm stuck since yesterday morning at the last door of the last room, I'm missing a triangle and I've got six circles and three waves and I can't get that silly last triangle, and the time of the quest is almost over.
This quest is very frustrating and it's only making me nervous, and it's not how a game is supposed to be.
Two very thumbs down for this quest!

 

I give this event 2 thumbs down.
I found the event window extremely confusing - had no idea where I was in the game or what was still needed to complete the event.
Ended up with too many crops, a lot of extra triangles and a couple of extra circle keys while still waiting on the wave keys. That was extremely frustrating.
I tried to avoid getting the sticker as I find that is totally useless but found towards the end if I wanted to advance to the next room for the cloud row I had to do it.
In hindsight I would have passed on this event if I had known how frustrating it was.

I'm right there with you. On the last room and need 2 triangles and a flag. What do I get? 5 circles. Uh huh.

 

I have enough triangles and circles to go through the doors twice (short by 3 each) and I can't seem to get waves. Why cant we exchange keys we don't want for the ones we do. I may not finish because of the "randomness" of the key drop. Not really liking the event.

Once again, I appreciate that the team is trying different things to make the events more interesting. As usual, the graphics and story were fun, for all items. I give the mechanism mixed reviews. I like the ability to go through each door and select which chamber we would pick to go on. This allowed us to get most of the items we want without necessarily having to complete the entire event, though the rewards offered for the final chamber are enough to make most of us want to finish if we can. That said, even many of the more experienced players were a tad confused.

I am not sure exactly why one chamber was just based on crops, with no random elements involved, unless maybe it was to make the event more approachable by new people.

The random element is frustrating. You seem to have a liking for random reward events. People here, at least in the forums, seem to pretty much not like that aspect. However, I think time will be the big teller. In some cases, things that people don't like wind up being improvements to the overall game, either because they even things out or perhaps precisely because they make things more challenging.

I like getting the wonder pens and trees as rewards. I also like power feed. I tend to try for the cloud rows, even though I have a large number.

As an aside, I am not yet at level 96, the current "cap". Reaching 96 is partially a goal because of Kiwi feed, but I am not quite sure what will come after that.

 

The same here, it is really outrageous that I still have to plant ~edit~ event plants (usually I do it far before the end of events) in order to hope to get circles to open doors. Not to mention to be forced to buy tablets. This game sucks!

 

Add me to the "not happy with the randomness" contingent. Overall I like this event, like the crops, the drop rate is great, and the graphics are outstanding, as well as good prizes - but the random factor is NOT a good thing.

Worst event ever - do not make my ability to complete an event subject to random luck

 

I started late and didn't expect to do much, maybe 1 round, but your randomness is robbery - I am stuck in room 3, unable to create anything but waves. How disappointing.

 

I can trade you now 6 blasted circles for a wave and 2 triangles!

 

IMHO, due to the randomness of the allocation of waves, circles and triangles, I had to grow an extra 1000 or so of each of the event crops. This is annoying as there were already a large amount of event crops needed. There was one redeeming factor, in that there was plenty of time.
Why were we not able to trade these extra keys? Then we could have had some real fun ! Maybe next time !?!
Other than these couple of gripes, it was a fun event and drops were never a real issue... (with only hours left, I have 500 extra drops) And Catsylvania Jones is cute.....

I don't like it, Most of player don't like it, Even they may had some good comment on
graphics, idea of this event, prize etc..
But all got spoiled on the design of random exchange of shape.
I here give you some of my figure.
In order to fully finished your whole event. Here is my leftover
Crop left : silver vase (4 hr crop)1017, Lobster claw(8 hr crop) 295
Stone left:101
Exchange Shape Left : Wave 17, Circle 10, triangle 0
What this figure reveal:
Each shape event only need 14 , 3 shape need 42, So, I had exchange over 50% shape that
are useless to finished event. all due to a ridiculous game factor call "random"
I don't understand the brain of Game Programmer, I'm just an ordinary women, I don't had
the knowledge & ability to understand that.
But I'm a money spend player. I had the right to play or not play this game.
If I don't feel happy on playing the game. Why I spend my money on a game make me anger
or not satisfy. I could just left the game or be a free game palyer.
You know " Customer always Correct" Market determine everything. If BP's game
programmer as well as management layer cont'd their own way of working.
I could expect this game get lessen & lessen player & "profit"
You could set up lots of mini event to get money, But First, you need to let your customer
happy to spend. & they think their spend is worth

How come player spend BB to buy stone if they don't know they could finished event?
Only stone is not enough, they need to grow crop, Yes, you may say, you could buy the
basket, but, how many they should buy, 1, 2 or 10 if they don't know when they could
exchange the shape they need!
Yes, they could buy the SG, SSG to speed up time, increase the qty of crop. So, you give
us the mini event. Come on, BP, even with SG, It still need time to grow, no matter it could
be shorten to very quick time. 8 hr corp at least need over 1 hr!
How a player feel when there is less than 2 hr, the event will be ended. And he/she still had
not get the lack shape. He/she spend alot to buy SG, SSG, Stone & still cannot sure if he/she
could get the shape he/she want. Do he/she con'td to spend to try another "random".
If me, No, of course, Just leave the event alone. FOCD will not make you died. just uncomfortable
But you could overcome it. You could pass it. Maybe, Think about leave
"farmerama" this game for a while. Maybe try not to do any event to avoid any unhappiness.
Maybe not to spend money on this game, Be a free game palyer. No pay, No hurt!
Do BP want this kind of palyers increase.
If so, Pls con'td to make game event like "temple of Doors" You will get the result very soon.

 

BP, you are to blame for this !!! This is an absolute disgrace!
How can you consider this to be fair? 27 extra Keys!! I was annoyed at having an extra four triangles and one circle key!
Please announce the firing of this algorithm designer on the forum for all to see !!!
Instead of these keys being around 33.33% each, Neddy38 has had percentages of 45% for waves, 35% for circles and a paltry 20 % for triangles.
Added to this, each key had to be chosen individually, rather than in a group. If we were able to choose all 42 at the same time, then our chances of a fair spread would have been much much higher.

 

No way to finish this event. 8 hrs. left, and still need 5 circles to progress...and what do I have? Triangles! ONLY triangles - nothing else!!
This is the most disappointing-NOT fun event yet. Oh, yes.....I now still have 804 drops. Too bad there is no way to share them by 10's!! This event is completely unbalanced!!
And I am NOT buying baskets just so I can get more triangles!!
I join the two thumbs down club...wishing I could do that by 10's, too.

 

I agree with all the negative comments about the random keys, so I won't repeat them.
I really had no idea where I had been, or where I was going except for trying to keep track of the prizes I had received.
On a positive note, I thought the Lobster claws were pretty. That's about the only positive thing I can say about this event, other than, I'M DONE!
