Update: Harvest came in, squares bought, event complete. In the process I was able to complete A FSQ which gave me a Cloud Row so that effort is coming along nicely.

My wife's farm is still waiting for two Circles. She has one door left. The Middle door. The Cloud Row door! After getting 19 Triangles and 8 Waves, she has given up on trying. She still has a ton of event crops, just need the Stone Tablets for the trades. So, she's tasked me to get the Circles for her. (Everybody think good happy thoughts of me getting her last two Circles, please)

Am in the process of saving up Tablets so I have plenty to try with next time around. It just seems that two or three tries at a time won't git er done.

 

Not completely sure if I will finish or not, but with just 1 circle to go, I should be OK, as long as I can harvest/donate in the morning (my time) --just before the event ends. I may be able to finish earlier, but my biggest drop set will be in the morning.

Because the assignments are random, just donate whenever. It won't matter. Any "trick" is just an illusion.

The only trick that matters is that because you don't have to open all of the chambers to move on to the next step, you can potentially get the givers without fully completing the event. I don't have the time to figure out a pattern right now, and you might have passed the "point of no return" -- that is, once you have gone through all the doors once, then you have to do the remaining 3 chambers in order.

Yes, but you can get 2 of those by just doing 2 chambers in each group.


This is why I have to take exception to your earlier advice to just do the squares first (and you might have already changed that -- have not gone back and looked). You want to do the items you want first and second. The third time around, you have to just finish them all, but you have a choice in rounds 1 and 2. I did not pay that much attention initially, so probably too late now for most people, but if they use this mechanism again, it will be worth noting that.

All drops and crops got used up and now I have to build up my crops, once again. One wavy is eluding me. I got more circles and more triangles. LOL.

Tiki Calendar - special prize tomorrow : - So those who are less in event crops or horses, turkeys & pigs for the next event can make use of it. Or you can keep it and use it for the Moonlight Mania to come on 27th. Its upto you to decide. +1 is applicable to animals & workshops, am I right ? I think it was so before.

 

I Just won the cloud row...I havent finished the event. however, now that I am back at rooms 1, the only door I can choose is the 1st door with the sticker. So I can be done now if i choose. I have the cloud row and the EP givers...

 

That randomness already bit me. I've grown 8600 of the Lobster claws, have 798 left and have 3 more sections to go providing I get the right shaped key. I really don't want to have to grow more claws this late in the game. I've got a surplus of wave keys.

 

Still waiting for 1 wave to get CR and finish the round 2. It seems I am the last one to finish the event or may be won't be finishing....

I too need one wavy to get the cloud row. Once you finish the random keys, the rest(square ones) are easy.

Previously its just been crops I believe, but I may be wrong. Workshops and animals as +1 would be lovely!

 

Finally finished! Between two days of intermittent internet outages and triangles that would not come up, it has been a difficult event.
Trees are out to see what comes. Best of luck to those still at it!

 

keep going Angelina you will get them that's what I was having trouble with and I got them you will too and I'm very happy you got to finish willow I actually got some good trees from mine this time

 

Only tree worth getting excited over is my first Grapefruit One down and I think 5 or 6 other ones

TIKI Gift...opened it and the last one is the plus 1 but it appears right away as one of the buffs. so time starts instantly.

Hi everyone, is the strategy for this event to beat my head senselessly against a hard surface? I've got 22 triangles and 8 circles and still have two doors to open and has far as I can see I need the wave keys.

Real life has kept me super busy so I haven't had forum time. I didn't even read the set up strategy for this one and have just sort of been winging it. I only really realized last night how random those stupid keys are. I guess the good news is I got all the power feed the bad news is I got the cloud row but still have to get the last giver item.

Hope everyone else had an easier time of it.

 

Don't feel alone, LD, my bearbabe farm's in the same boat. On door 2 of last 6, have the CR, but only one of the givers. No time this week to read strategy, much less implement it, lol, so will be satisfied with whatever I'm able to complete, I guess. Don't have enough time to get enough drops to be able to feel I'll get all the remaining doors, too much randomness. Despite my best efforts, instant carnations on bear still elude me, so can't fall back on that. Finished on spots, at least, evidently wasn't quite as random here as drop rates weren't dissimilar. Good luck to all those still mucking through the tunnels, I'll try not to bump into you in the dark.
