Temple of Doors Event Strategy

Dont worry...as long as u stay up all night and farm u should be fine...LOL

One more round and I hang up the torch not before burning my hat and the shape giver...

 

Finally I am done! Somewhere in the maze I even got the sticker, which I really didn't care about and can't see in my album. lol I figured out the secret! Grow way more crops than you need and they will give in and give you the keys you need.
I was going to complain about having 6 extra circles and 3 extra triangles before getting the 1 wave I needed, but after reading some of your horror stories I think I'll consider myself lucky.
Congratulations to all who are done and best wishes to those still toiling away. May the force be with you.

 

I thank " the goddess of Luck" save me at last, do not abandon me all the time.
I got the last triangle to get the last giver & finished the event.
Actually, I don't feel any happy for finished this event.
A very first time don't get any satisfaction from this event.
Just a thought. OK, I could give BP a feedback now.

 

I finally finished with 23 extra keys (13 triangles and 12 waves) on this farm. My next worse luck farm needed 14 extra. I guess I should consider myself fortunate since my youngest farm only needed 3 extra tries (would have never gotten the drops). Out of 6 farms I actually had one that didn't need to make any extras.
Congratulations to those that have finished and best of luck to those still trying.

 

I need 1 more door I really hope I get the keys I need cool I just need squares to finish woooo hoooo I am sooo happy thank you to everybody that helped me and GOOD LUCK to those who are not giving up AWSOME!!!! I just finished with 7 hrs left see it is doable I didn't think I was going to ever finish but I did you just have to have a little faith lol

 

I have 3 more doors to open up to finish the entire event. The 4 party spins waiting on 2 circles, the 50PF I have enough squares just need it to pop back up and the 12hr harvest coupon. Goodluck everybody!

 

Atlast time for celebration. Got a circle key today morning and then the very elusive last wavy key and I finished the event. Great. Thanks for my neighbours and friends who sent me drops. That was very kind of you and helped me a lot. Doing a happy dance.

I hope everybody gets to the end and understand all the frustrations and congrats to all those finished.

I finished last night. Just planted the gift trees this morning so have to wait 3+ hrs to see what they are.

 

My wife suggests: "If they use this random set-up again, we should boycott the event!"

 

sirpippen, I'm with you and Lady pippen on that one. Do not intend to do another event like this one - EVER. Stick a fork in me, I'm done.

 

Well, I thought I'd get 1 round done at least - I have 100s of stone tablets, but on the final door I need 2 more triangles; I have 11 waves . I decided not to grow any more crops and I'm done. I've never deserted an event until today. On the upside I did get 1 of the givers so at least have something worth trading!

Well I finished two farms yesterday and last two this morning. Finally!!! One farm ended up with 13 circles left over. Really that was random. I could see maybe one or two of each left over but that was excessive. Must say this was a tough event with that element in there.

 

I did not like the randomness of the keys but following suggestions, i was able to get the givers and cloud row, and that was my main concern. I did not finish completely, but getting the givers and the CL satisfied me. I worked many 12 hour days this week.... I apologize to my neighbors if I was tardy giving daily gifts..... On to the next challenge now i guess.

 

BillyWhiskers did not finish the event. Those wave keys just would not arrive. I want to take a moment to thank my friends and neighbors who sent stone tablets to help me achieve the goals set out for the farm. I continued all the way up to the end of the event and just not able to get the required keys. I still needed 4 more wave keys and had approximately 30 extra keys. I really appreciate the support this 2nd farm received. It was truly heart warming. Congratulations to those who finished and my condolences to those who did not.

I am going to shake the dust of disappointment and frustration off and look forward to the next event.

Thank you Meba I am pleased with what I finished and will try to focus on what I did acquire and try not to worry about what I missed. Spring is here, the weather is nice, I have put out stuff that will take most of the day to be ready, going to turn off the computer and enjoy family today.

I managed to finish but only by staying up far to late and growing way to many crops. My condolences to all that missed the mark and congrat's to all who made it. I dislike games of random chance and events like these really point out to me just how much I dislike them.

 

I must say, I really like this community. Every one is so helpful with advice, sending drops and other useful things, giving encouragements, happy thoughts, jokes and hugs.
I finished. Still not sure how, since I was away for some time (field trips) and harvesting before event start. It sure helps looking at the announcements and events.
These randomness gave me 12 extra triangles and a circle with about 2000 of every event crop. What a stress this has been!
