Neon Stables - Horse, Pig, Turkey

Very happy I was able to prepare animal stock early; all done but the love locks!

For those without base and first level animal stocks sufficient to get done quickly or who can't raise the cc's to purchase enough animals, don't be discouraged by the farmers who have nearly finished this event. This is the first time I have been able to do this. Look ahead to future stable events and begin building up stock now. Even if you can't get everything stockpiled, you will make your next stable/neon event much less stressful.

Meba and woody gave some real good advice a few posts back for those in a less advantageous position. I have done what they suggested in past events and was able to finish, even if there were a few close moments. Persevere!
Hope the BBD skips are in everyone's favor this time!

 

I'm also done with the donation part and now just need the locks. I've sold off a bunch of my extra animals and so far I'm up over 8 million. Not bad for only checking in twice a day. Now I just have to make sure I don't miss the BBD.

Add me to the number that have completed all except the locks/giver items. My magical glade is getting quite crowded with all the lovely pinks and neons!

 

I am also finished except the love lock part. I didn't have room in my magical glade and wasn't about to let the new neon stables sit idle so right now they are on my main field and will go into the glade to join the other neons later today. This is the first neon event that I used so many bred animals. Normally I try to use as many regular animals as I can but with all the events and new animals it seems awfully hard for me to get regular animals back up to about 1,000 (at least, that's where I am comfortable) Going down to my daughters for 2 days and don't know if her comp/internet is fixed so hopefully BBD won't be until after Friday afternoon. May the Skipping Gods be with us!!! BTW, does anyone remember when we used to have BBD's just to have a BBD for fun?? And not have to breed a specific animal? Or has my memory really fabricated that story??

I am all finished to I would have been done like 10 mins after the event started but I just couldn't seem to wake up this morning but now I am among those waiting on BBD congrats to all those who finished and waiting for BBD and good luck to those still working on it you will get it this is actually the first time ive ever finished so quickly but I was prepared this time I do hope the skips are in everybodys favor this time too oh and I am still NOT filling my breeding hut yet because like cylentLea123 I have absolutely no patience so I just have to avoid the temptation lol

Yes, Julie, I remember very well. But I also remember when we had one field, no neighbours, lost anything we deleted and ... it rained and we lost some of our crops!

Just going to attempt to do the event without breeding ... everything crossed!

Edit: Illy and Chevrefeuille have both finished the first part and are waiting for BB for the EP givers. Baby farm got in on the act and now has a Neon Turkey and Neon Pig (and has 44 of each waiting in the breeding pen for BB!).

You don't remember the rain Dienstag? It was supposed to start when the harvest time had passed but I am sure it rained earlier than that on my farm! Crops lost! And only one field, so you can imagine how precious those crops were!

 

that must have been before my time. But I remember the need of watering the magical glade and the need to check on the givers. That nice sign came later.

 

It's the type of event really no big brain moves needed to get it ready, get animals/get alot of animals/save on animals with making,buying animals in breeding.
Yep that it. A one can hope on a great gray matter to help with the hard stuff, math is not for the faint of hart. Then just have a bunch of CC to buy anything you are short, and if we ever have to do the math, a lot more CC. And never stop risen chickens...ever great things to fall back on in those less then ready areas.

 

Not breeding till BBD but I'm finished too just the love lock bit to do

 

We had water logging in fields and we had to clean them. Everything would be fine when we logged out. But when we logged in the next morning 2 or 3 fields would have been water logged and we used to lose the crops. The rain feature was stopped. I wish they could bring it once again without water logging. It was quite pleasant to see rains in the field. That was the time when the game was very slow and I used to decorate my farm with pond in the midst, put fences etc. Gone are those days.

 

All done, just waiting till Baby Boom to get the love locks.

 

Also waiting for the BBD to finish up with the locks portion. I had to stretch it a bit on the horses as I haven't bred them recently but pigs and turkeys I had in abundance. I've even ventured into the market to sell and I haven't been to the market in what feels like ages. If only real life would cooperate and let me get back to my virtual farming in earnest.

broke farm is easily over 100 million in sales. I'm pretty sure Mooboy is at it too.

Meba I know you were prepared to get it . Was only selling in lots of 200 here. When competition showed up I drop to lots of 100. This farm is going to sell its items and first. And when it is done others can grab the change. Until then, the market is mine. And the barns has thousands more to sell. Breeding animals are no exception. I'm trying to fine the holding limit for events of this nature.

The broke farm will save left overs in order to do the entire event.

hahahaha But I need to keep producing the needed animals. No hurry hurry, plenty of time.

The nobbie farm will just have to wait.

Going to my other farm and try if I can raise enough money to buy and finish the event.
