Now I have to say my imagination runs crazy wild. Thinking of what can all be done with organic lemon, detergent and a sedative, all in combination with parents day. o_O
I better close my eyes until it's over and hope nobody gets hurt.

I remember, ones my sister and I were making breakfast for mothers day (elementary school age I think). When making the tea, my sister managed to get her hand into the boiling hot water while putting the lid on the tea pot. Mom sure could have had some use for that sedative then. Pick your choose for who. ;)

I remember him too. We studied about him in 12th standard. We had a separate volume in biology for genetics. Gregor Mendel was father of genetics. He was a priest. He was the one who found out that chromosomes/genes come in duplicate, and a child gets one from male and one from female. He used peas and its varieties to formulate his 3 laws, law of domination, independent assortment and segregation. I was very much interested in studying this and everything in biology.

The parent day items are better than diaper/ diaper cakes :p Aren't they. Thanks for flooding the gossip thread with all new information and also in Viking thread. :)

Thanks, Mir, for Bingo event information. Only sad thing is that I might be missing this event.

  5. I think Woody is thinking of the Magnolia, also known as the Tulip Tree in England. We got the Magnolia with the Mirabelle several years ago, during one of the early Mystery tree events.

Thanks for all the information 12ss12.
I did a bit of research and found some more details on some of the trees listed.

Cercis canadensis is commonly known as 'Eastern Redbud' and is native of North America.

The Tulip Tree is also know Botanically as Liriodendron and also is native of N America.

Halezia is some what of a mystery as Google does not recognise this name as a tree or shrub species. My guess is that it could be Hazel a common small tree.

I'm really looking forward to visiting the mystery seed merchant when the time comes. :):)

I can only make out the top of the train. But elephant ??? I will try once again to find it out.

And these are probably items: [IMG][IMG][IMG]

I'll be interesting to see how an event with 11  event crops will work. The items look nice and I hope the event will be interesting, I am looking forward to it at least :)

Maybe it is one of those events where you have to choose the time of the event crop you want to grow (does this make sense?) - I remember there was one like that some time ago.

Hmm, yes I remember an event where you could choose between growing a 4hr crop or an 8hr crop. They should do more of that since someone prefer short crops and others longer :)

Allowing the swap of "Z" for "S" I came up with:

    Halesia carolina
    Common Name: Carolina silverbell
A Southeast U.S. native, small understory tree with a broad, rounded crown or a large shrub.
Attractive, small tree or large shrub for the shrub border or woodland garden. Interesting specimen for the lawn. Grows well with rhododendrons and azaleas.

    HI :)

maybe this can be the right tree - HELEZIA or HELESIA
Halesia, also known as silverbell or snowdrop tree, is a small genus of four or five species of deciduous large shrubs or small trees in the family Styracaceae.[IMG]

have a nice farming day ahead and sunny hello from Slovenia ;).

Hi mayanaja ! Welcome to English Forum. Nice to have a player from Slovenia. And thanks for the information.

Thanks for bringing the event crops to this thread, Mir. 11 crops mechanism ? Gregor Mendel experimented how the colours and shapes passed from one generation to another in peas. May be we will do the same thing and see the arraying of dominant and recessive colour and different shapes ??;)

May be here we would choose the colour and size of the peas ? ;)

I am curious too. Mendel was one of my favourite subject in biology in my school days. I very much loved the lessons. Such a great deduction from common peas. But it must have costed him lots of calculations, combination & permutation and keeping records over very many years.

Yes, it would be cool if the event mechanics somehow reflected Mendels work (no idea how though) and not just a standard event of growing so many of this and so many of that. Maybe even the text in the farmer society will be worth reading... :)

    Hi
    Something about the wiking's event
    Wild geese. Ingrid
    Welcome to axe kicks.
Come to me and let by an axe lataly.to see you're ready and I'll throw. Select run from a combination of blades and handles the best combinations, so arrange the best and I have a large amount of gold coins-you will need at the store. Choose the best combination you have 5 prob but ostarnia will be selected
But first, get ready for this ... will be needed of horns Viking (drinking Horn), how to collect, this is a guess; )
Besides, it will have to rosenwurz (I can't translate the names of plants), and so on and get to work. This is the only way we can prepare a wikingowy pot (I think that this is some kind of soup). Who is not strong you cannot dump
    -edit-

using Bing translator this is what Cebus posted in post #36
