Neon Stables - Horse, Pig, Turkey

I just don't understand why people continue to pay more for feed than the animals cost, even at some of the inflated prices now.
I know I did it once until a wise person pointed it out in the forum. It just never dawned on me to check the animal's prices before I bought the feed until then, so I suppose that's what is happening now.

 

In some cases, they are buying the feed to use in a workshop, not the animal pen.

 

In some cases, they may be feeding orange pens. Some of the rare pens, like mouse and owl have orange pens. (though last I checked in my market they were not flipped) In other cases they may just not care or may be selling the manure at high prices (kiwi, for example -- which gives 5 manure).

However, in most cases, I think people just don't check or don't care for whatever reason.

 

How do you place a neon stable ? I have the turkey II but it wont place it !! THX

 

You have to place the basic pen first and then you can place the Neon on top of it.

 

You have to have a regular base. one labeled "II" is most likely not a base. Also, you can only have one upgrade, so not on top of a yellow. I suggest buying turkeys now anyway, then just sell the excess. You cannot go wrong with even 100 (and now cheaper to buy the pens than the animals, plus you never know when you will need them in the future

I finished the event. I only needed a handful that I didn't already have in stock.
Has anyone gotten any good skips? I got a Pegahorn from 4 horses and a Tribal Turkey from 4 turkeys, but that is it so far. Now I'm just doing extra breeding to upgrade some stables and prepare for the future.
I wonder if BP gave us this one to make up for the last one.

I've finished the event, however i have a question regarding the love locks. How many times can you buy from the Neon Shop? I've bought 2 sets already and wondering if its worth trying or buying more? Thanks!

 

The wife finished having gained all the Neons with the first round of the Baby Boom complete. Just needed to wait for the second round to complete the Cloud row. She's working on filling her barn with other Breeders now.

I finished having gained the Neons and Cloud Row after the second round of the Baby Boom. (Huzzah)


Now working on trying to complete that pesky Chicken breeding quest. After 6 months it seems like it will never be complete.
(baby steps, baby steps... I'll git er done)

 

pyratic I bought 4 sets and 1 horse then ran out of pwr feed on both of my farms they will help in boosting my teps I put 1 set on cloud row and the rest on my shipwreck bay

 

You can buy as many as you have locks for Pyratic. You can put them out like MARLYMAR has or you can hope that they can eventually be traded and negotiate for other items with them.

 

pyratic to clarify what BlackCaviar is saying you can try to trade or negotiate for other items in an event called GIFT&TRADE we have been having one about every month lately but sometimes it can be more time in between the events pyratic I wasn't sure if you knew so was just trying to be helpful

What about Overtime, Provident Fund & allowances ??

 

hmmmmm, The farm wife (tlcmom) takes care of all crop growers and such on the mainland and you should speak with her.

I see you think on your feet a little bit and that's not a requirement for the mainland dirt crop work. You can earn all the overtime and Provident junk ya want here, and I mean all of it.

BUT, you will need to have exceptional skills in several areas and must perform in the BAHA Wasteland and Rain Forest.

There is no such thing as a minimum wage in the BAHA Wasteland. As a favor to you, I would start you off at 1/2 the mainland rate for the experienced. And there are snakes there; plenty of um.

I have finished the event and did not get many good skips.... but alas... I never do! I wonder is there a secret to getting a good skip..... some simple ingredient I don't use like pheromones that I don't always use? One wonders how some can get absolute incredible skips and some none. Thank you to Decree for doing the number crunching, it was an immense help. Thank you kindly to all neighbors and friends for wonderful gifts. Have fun.... and let's hope we all don't over do with our breeding fever!

All three farms finished with event, this and Chevrefeuille both got another set of EP givers just for the fun doing more breeding!

I got quite a few mediocre one step or two step skips but my best (and I think it was on this farm) was a Polka Turkey - - and a Tiki Monkey. Colour me pink and happy!
